I just started rewatching The Larry Sanders show. Everything you'd ever need to know about showbiz you can learn from Spade's appearance in Episode 2. "Oh, he's good."
David Cross is one of my favorite comedians, if climate change continues maybe it'll be warm enough up here he'll do a show in WI. Great one guys enjoyed it.
Love David Cross can’t wait to hear the interview was not aware that he was a writer a host or cast member of SNL so this should be pretty interesting because of course you’re podcast is about deep diving into the SNL. Of course he was and his friends with Bob Odenkirk, but there’s still about 1 million music guests former cast members Riders technical staff I can’t believe you haven’t had Wally on as a guest that mean that guy’s a national treasure
They talk about SNL about as much as they talk about those chipmunk movies. This has become just another celebrity interview podcast where we hear about how the person started and upcoming projects.
Chris Cross, who is.. the boss, besmirch him at all and you'll get a toss (not in the handjobber English way, but the throwing English way, which just reminds me of how good his cringe tsunami of a show was that took place in England)!
Cheeze'us Cries! David really stepped on Davids self promoting the British cringeOtron Todd fest, to push Mr Show and Odenkirk talk... Now I am ENRAGED 🤬🍻🎄
Dana’s ADHD is super present when he goes on a tangent. I’m sure his brain went “talk about his Boston comedy upbringing” but jumped to Steven Wright. Luckily Cross had a follow for that, then Dana starts rambling about Steven’s style and jumps into Hedberg. It’s like Dana has already had the conversation started in his head but no one else is privy. Stay with the guest, talk about the guest.
I think the only reason he and Bob didn't conquer Hollywood back in the 90s is there's too many uncomfortable truths revealed in some of their amazing work.
OK I know I’m just a broken wheel here but here we are started the shows in SNL themed podcast and you’re only five minutes into this podcast and you’re just asking David do you wanna talk about your new stuff for your body at work and things like that should be over on your cother podcast --I would love to hear from the make up person at SNL who’s had to deal with every single person in such a different way. Or one of the prop people and the tremendous work they do and I don’t want to sound like a jerk but you’re leaving so much good stuff on the table and rely more on having celebrity guests Versus the opportunity to explore a national institution which is SNL --we,re coming up to the 50th anniversary year you guys have an opportunity to be working towards that --use that as exit from the show if you need one --I mean that’s a pretty good idea. We don’t need the most famous people that were on SNL. We also want to hear from the people that make t happen and now you’ve had a few great writers and not too much more when it comes to production.
40 minutes and I guess it’s time for my retraction oh David audition I probably should’ve guessed that my fault still, though not much of a deep dive into it and clearly not that important since it wasn’t even brushed over mention to tell the 40 minute mark I stand by my previous comments
By far my favorite comic! Thank you for this!
"my pants are tight"!!!!Such a funny episode!!!BTW,you guys rock!!
I've been singing "Chicken pot chicken pot chicken pot pie" for years. I couldn't remember where I heard it. Thanks for the reminder! 😂

Slow Donny on Just Shoot Me - funniest episode of all time. Classic!
Only just shared this with friends the other day.
"it's the sweetest deal"
"Donnie wants a beer!"
My shoes hurt too dad. My shoes hurt too.
Mr. Carvey, I was just watching " The Road to Wellville ". I would love to hear some stories about that production in a future episode !

My favorite TV show
🇨🇦A lot of people knew of Bob Odenkirk as an actor before discovering his comedic background
Davey so Classy! I love a vintage Rover!👏👏👏🤣
My kids and I say chicken pot pie all the time 😂❤
As an ex-Mormon, the throwaway line about angel Moroni cracked me up!
Davids Spade and Cross: Just Shoot Me- "Slow Donnie" was one of the funniest half-hours of television ever produced.
David Cross is one of my favorite comedians, if climate change continues maybe it'll be warm enough up here he'll do a show in WI. Great one guys enjoyed it.
We love yall.Dana and Dave are right up there with steve martin and martin short for me, a great team
David replied “ the world that I live in?” Dang it that was fast and funny as hell… 😅😂
I will never forget: "Chicken pot chicken pot chicken pot PIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!"
The funniest line from Just Shoot Me was David Cross to David Spade, "you're small"
love this show - all u guys!!
Where is the “Seriously? No joke” at the end! After a hundred episodes it hurts not to hear it there lol
Cross did the Donnie character on 3 different episodes of Just Shoot Me
I fuckin LOVE Dickie Roberts ... It's nuckin futs!

Mr. Show was so good, and you felt like you'd discovered something special and subversive when it came out. Couldn't love David Cross more
I couldn’t disagree more.
Douche chills. Garbage comedy. But to each their own, just terrible to me personally. David Cross is a giant, huge DOUCHE. That’s my angle sorry !
Chicken pot, chicken pot, chicken pot pie! : )
VACUUM!!
Am reminded of the joke with the punchline: "Brown chicken, brown cow."
35:00 Netflix would ask for them to bring change back
Love it!
David Cross owes me $25
Ronnie Dobbs Ronnie Dobbs
I watched this one, and the one with Bob Odenkirk, and I still don't know how they met.
Janine Garafalo introduced them.
@@Sugarbear3000 I think maybe I did hear that somewhere.
I think this is the guy that blue himself
He should record himself for a day
Slow Donnie was the greatest.
David Cross is a comedy genius.
I wear cut offs because of him
Nuthin' special bout that, same with all folk ah know!
We got "Cross-Walks" here where we pick who's wearing the shortest ones contests
My pants are tight
Bob had all the talent
Best rule about beer and tequila.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Which David is which?
Chicken pot, chicken pot, chicken pot piiiiiee
Yaaaasss 🎉🎉❤
So much is lost not being able to see the sly subtle grins all three of you are soooooooo excellent at cracking. Hint hint.
Riigt?! Give us a glimpse at these sessions!!! 💯 👏
I wish they would prepare and have questions ready.
Remembering Norm!!!
Please make this happen!!!
Maybe a 3 parter. ;-)

no matter who these guys interview its great1
David why'd you unfriend Gavin!
Lol
"I go to canada for to pay the extra taxes" -David Spade
Thanks David.
Minor quibble - the intros are redundant and a waste of time.
Jim Bruer claims David Cross told Jim face to face Cross didn’t verbally abuse Bruer and Cross continues to verbally abuse Bruer.
Bruer is awesome! This guy not so much
Breuer is a lunatic.
Sounds like a cry baby
Godzilla is dead.

Perpetual, not perennial.
I want to be David Cross's pal
Sorry guys, but this was your first stinker! What a boring interview. All of your other episodes were GREAT; this was numbing.
I can't listen to this lefty
elitist
