I love both of these guys AND I feel dumber after watching this. Probably never watch Headgum again since this was my first experience of it. Waste of time. Bizarre and also not funny.
I feel some weird pride for these guys because of how insanely successful they became because I watched Mr. Show while it was originally airing in '95-98'. Me and my friends still constantly quote Mr. Show and it feels like an exclusive club. David is my all time favorite comedian and of course I'm obsessed with Better Call Saul.
If you had to pick a favorite sketch, what would it be? Or a top-five? My all-time favorites are the nanny cam where David gets repeatedly punched in the face, the ventriloquist gang wars, The infomercial for the superpan... omg the militia man who makes his own country and then Bob comes in with the keyboard to create a national anthem 😂 Too hard, too many. Absolutely incredible show.
Right?! Following Bob's career has been a fuckin blast. I got to meet him on his book tour with his daughter, and he couldn't have been more normal and awesome.
A friend and I would do this shit for hours and hours and I was completely satisfied with the universe in thoes moments. He's not here any longer and it's completely frustrating not to be able to get back there. Thanks fellas😊

Their collaborative work, like "Mr. Show with Bob and David," represents a pinnacle of comedic ingenuity that transcends performance. It embodies a perfect storm of wit, timing, and creative synergy. They elevate this art to a form of high-wire acrobatics. Their improvisational skill lies not only in their ability to generate quick-witted material on the spot but also in their remarkable synergy. It’s a dance where each partner is attuned to the other’s rhythm and cues, creating a seamless flow of ideas and humor. I just sat through a little over an hour of this two engaging in a continuous, organic dialogue. Riffing off each other, exploring absurd scenarios, and I did not want it to end. This chemistry is not something that can be manufactured; it is the result of years of collaboration and mutual respect. And I would gladly pay for this level of content. Improvisation is not just about quick thinking but about creating an intricate dance of humor, and this was a master level demonstration. Bob and David, you two are completely inspiring. Thank you.

I remember hearing the BCS producers talk about that injury of Bob's. For the final episode cut they basically pulled the "texas switch" where you see Bob as Saul running out of frame away from his captors, the camera hesitates, then spins over into the alleyway and it was just a stuntman that you see actually hopping over the fence like 30 feet away. great shot.
