For anyone on Blender 2.92+ there is no longer a Shading Tab under Render Settings (as mentioned at 23:20). Instead, go to the Film Tab under Render Settings and make sure 'Transparent' is ticked. Everything else in this tutorial matches up close enough.
blender pre 2.8 was truly something different :D i don't even know why i'm watching this^^ i know damn well how to track and stabilize in so many different programs :D
i cant get it right for the life of me, ill get a perfect track but what fs me up is that i cant seem to manage to get blender to stop tracking at a certain frame... help lol
It sounds like you are 99% done. You should make sure you are getting the alpha channel in your render: find Render Properties > Film > Transparent and make sure it's checked. That can cause the background behind the text to hide the video.

What file types can be imported for edit?
when i render it just renders video without text, when i change position of compositing alpha over, then it renders just text, what did i do wrong?

Sadly, the newest version of Blender is completely different than this version. No such thing as "follow track" in the newest version, for example.
If you mean 2.93, it is still in there under Object Constraint Properties -> Add Object Constraint -> Follow Track.
