    So, excessive zinc supplementation can cause a copper deficiency! This is a good thing to know. The main symptom of a copper deficiency is a sudden inability to give back change for a nickel.

      Funny joke, but serious issue. Morley calls copper activated ceruloplasmin "The Jesus Molecule of the Body.". OK, not exactly, but close. Zinc stimulates metallothionine, which binds copper up 1000x more than zinc. Low copper means low ceruloplasmin. Copper loaded ceruloplasmin loses such a threat to the for-profit Rockefeller Medicine system that they never talk about copper in "little people" medical school. Ever. Ceruloplasmin manages copper and iron (when expressed as ferro-oxidase) in the human body. When it is low, copper and iron go rogue and induce oxidative stress and inflammation in the human body. Search "Iron Behaving Badly Douglas B Kell, PhD.". Sir Douglas Kell was knighted for his research exposing how iron induced degeneration and inflammation in humans. This validated the policy of putting rusty iron filings into cereals and other foods. Cha-ching!!!

      @Tumbleweed And biochemistry. A beautiful lie is that the body works more simply than it actually does. We shall all reap what we sow, and if that is your best, you will get results over time consistent with how well your perception matches biochemical natural law. Many people mistake the body's incredible ability to adapt as a sign their methodology is correct, until that adaptability eventually breaks down, anyway. Good luck.
      PS - if you can explain WHY the methodology I laid out is wrong with EVIDENCE, I'm all ears. If not,well, then you can't know what you claim to know, can you? A quick estimate of your inflammatory state is your TG/HDL ratio. Dr. Brewer has an excellent video on the subject, and most already have both values from standard blood tests. Around one is pretty good. Over 2 is a warning shot. Much over 2 is an "all hands on deck, fix her chit.". And by inflammation, I pretty much mean low copper activated ceruloplasmin and low intra-cellular magnesium.

      @@jamescatlover123 Zinc supplements stimulate metallothionine, which binds up copper 1000x more than zinc (per Most Robbins and his almost 10,000 hours studying scientific literature). Low copper will mean low ceruloplasmin, and low ceruloplasmin means low ferro-oxidase. When those enzymes are low, copper and iron act as heavy metals and go rogue by inducing all manner of oxidative stress and inflammation in the tissues.
      Zinc can drive down an Na/K ratio on a hair test, but even then you want to be very careful with it. If one is able to use some of to bind toxic forms of copper while absorbing food sources of copper, that would be the ideal approach. Ditch the toxic form and ramp the correct form. Magnesium and retinol are required to load the copper atoms into ceruloplasmin's n (which then can express as ferro-oxidase).

    Chris, thank you so much for creating this I've actually thought about doing my own set of RUclips videos for all this type of information I've been learning before I ever saw your video. I actually just searched for how to absorb zinc the best and then I came across your information about the copper etc and I've always had suspicions that things like this do happen from everything that I've learned.
    For maximum optimum physical health it is such a complex set of rules to follow, it seems you have to spend years of research to reach perfection of balance of information and applying that knowledge.
    Most of us on our lives will encounter people with diseases that maybe deficiencies or that may require supplementation. As an example my girlfriend has Crohn's disease for 20 years and this is good information for her.
    That being said, I think I'll just refer all my acquaintances and family to your video series.

Might you ask a question of me?) *im an athelete too {as your posts page referres to some vids of such/... youre saying something? Im seeing a lot of ppl falling in shallow ruts,, lets not do that or let that happen to each other,,, If youre a meat eater, vegan or breatharian ect. as your system of excercize health ect.,, Only we ourselves can free ourselves from illusions , mind slavery, ,, look and question deeply to know for yourself,, disgard what you cannot see is truth,, hold strong to what you find is pure and true!! And of course somethings are very fluid,, can be grey in yes or no,, so we feel in intuition ,, beyond solid ,, mom always guided me in our indigenous ancient ways “be true to your deepest super soul” We can ,,Look closely at what ever we do,, what our life style may be,, how it reflects to others, and if its got “roots”,, Investigate is it with violence, denighing rights and responsabilitys as we would not want to have done to us,, not acting in abuse or just for the heck of speed ,, These are things im ever learning more as reality is ,, many views and many reasons to be the best we can be,,, You may not be interested ,, first when truth is given or seen: many act in denighal ,,usual response, 2nd is mockery, 3rd agression or even violence!,, ( in huge mass effects, murders , wars, genocides ect) ,,, tho eventually > 4th admitting to ones’ self the seen & presented truth is real,, bringing one into change & respect to others and action to rebalance,,,,( in many yrs ive seen and learned thru teachers, elders, spiritual introspections ( common sense) and children (pure uninhibited). Baba Dick Gregory inspired me greatly; in bringing spiritual, and social changes,, he ran from san francisco calif. to washinton dc to new york in 118 days (drinking only fresh squeezed organic orange juice and wheat grass juice) & water,,, during the horrible ethiopian famine ( as ppl watched millions die of starvation on tv !!!?! ( M. Jackson & Geldolf founded “we are the world” starting actions to change th situation/ i contacted israelis to fly out of th famine hundreds of thousands of black jewish ethiopians( sadly th ethiopian jewish survivours were selected as others died ),, im still struggling for non segregative commonalitys towards the end of racisism and religious conflicts ,, that divide ppl for th spector of illusions of first class and second class gaps,,( rooted in usually inferiority conflicts, misunderstanding , Even Worse is the man made ghost illusion of poverty and homelessness,, it often more difficult to erradicate & prevent,,, Natural laws are never to be challenged,, as in doing so we will not prevail,,, natural harmony is as gravity,, its not a battle of conquoring to somehow make up rules and man made laws to make things how we want for a plaything or $ profits,, We are all united in commonalitys : we want to be happy and free from unneccisary suffering,, we all want to be understood , appreciated,, more so Loved. Yes or No?,, (This is also a unity with all living creatures , plants and trees,, all life is sacred) ,,

      Too much zinc, mate. 45mg a day is the safe limit. Zinc is a trace mineral, meaning you're not supposed to be taking a huge amount of it every time, just regular intake.

    Most people that eat legumes and grains soak them now, to remove the phytic acid to maximise absorption of minerals, thanks to good info about doing that on nutrition channels. Thank you for great info about zinc. Shalom to us only in Christ Yeshua.

    Chris: Did you say if you want to put 10 pounds of muscle mass on in a month? That is nearly impossible unless one is using steroids and/or other performance enhancing drugs. If someone is able to put on 10 pounds of muscle, it will likely be within their first 1-2 years of training, and from there, only the most hardcore athletes may be able to add 1-2 pounds per year. But no one is putting on 10 pounds of muscle in a month. Fat yes, but not muscle.

    • @chrismasterjohn
      @chrismasterjohn  6 лет назад

      I don't think I said in one month. I probably said in 3 months.

    • @robertz2845
      @robertz2845 5 лет назад +1

      Chris: First, I should preface by saying you do incredibly great work!!!! But, you did say 10 pounds in one month at 4:17 to 4:20 and you did follow it up by also saying if you are going to spread it out with less intensity, in three months. Normally, only a person that is new to training is likely to put 10 pounds of muscle on even over three months and that would be under ideal circumstances and training methodology. I am not trying to be combative here as the sheer amount of information you cover is vast and nobody can specialize in every single area. This particular area is where I have a great deal of knowledge, hence, my motivation is to share with you, not to be critical and your videos are top notch. @@chrismasterjohn

      @@robertz2845 I've been eating a couple oysters on empty stomach every 5 hours for, at least, a couple weeks now. Without lifting a single weight, it seems as though my total body lean mass has increased. At the very least, my muscles feel stronger as if I was training or beginning to train again. Now imagine if I was training, full body workouts, every other day, under a strict, holistic diet? Food for thought.
