- The Hyundai Ioniq 5 Max variant is a spacious CUV that easily turns heads. It's either you like the look of it or you don't. It's that polarizing.
It's got features rarely found in cars at this price bracket. Its interior is loaded with recyled and eco friendly materials but could do with less hard recycled plastics though the commitment to the preservation of the environment is commendable.
The car is plenty fast but we do wish it had a bit more range. It also has a few party tricks.

This is called the ULTIMATE trim in Canada, LIMITED trim in US. Your country is behind the times with this trim.
Lucky you. Unfortunately we can't control when car makers decide to launch their models here. Of course, we'd love it if they'd launch it sooner rather than later.
Updated model launched in South Korea recently. Bigger battery, USB C, rear wiper and a couple more features added. Not sure if Malaysia will get all the bells and whistles when/if it reaches here.
Good to know Hyundai listens to feedback.
I saw the new N variant at the Bangkok Motor Show. Killer looks, powerful but at the expense of range. Can't wait to see your closeup shots when you cover this. Btw, please use more lighting when you shoot in darker areas. Your shots in well lit areas are bloody good but not so much when shooting dark interiors in low light.
The N Variant only good for track days and town driving. Won't help with range anxiety. 😜
We could not make it to the Bangkok Motor Show but hopefully the 'N' will make an appearance here soon. We'll bring more lighting next time 😀
