These videos is exactly what I needed. I removed a wall with several HVAC vents in the floor. Now I know how to cover them.

12:34 Why not install these "fire breaks" higher so that more of the hot air from the attic doesn't get into the walls?

Howdy Joseph! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you...working four jobs makes for a tight schedule!
I am in VA, but on the other side of the state from you. Congrats on your pending home purchase...always exciting! I must tell you that I am not a home inspector...just a guy who loves home improvement and construction!!! But I am happy to answer any questions you may have and provide you renovation guidance/advice.
What type of house are you buying...what year was it built...what’s the overall condition...what are your plans?
I also just bought a fixer-upper that I am working on during weekends...an 1820 center hall colonial brick farmhouse...of course I’ll be posting videos showing the restoration of this beautiful house.
Look forward to hearing back from you and good luck with closing! ☘️

Howdy Ulise! I do have a short bathroom remodel series...here is the link: ruclips.net/video/pZmYESP-iiA/видео.html . What is your question?
I will be doing a complete bathroom gut and remodel (turning one huge bathroom in to two bathrooms). That will be posted in about 6 months as I won’t start that project until March.
I would not recommend wood for a bathroom floor. I would use tile or natural stone....there are some really nice ‘wood-look’ ceramic tile available if you want to have a ‘wood’ floor.
You can reply to this comment or contact me at DoAndBrew@gmail.com ... happy to help with your bathroom remodel!!! Thanks for checking out the video...hope to see you as a sub!

I'm no contractor, but isn't that hidden jct box illegal? I thought all boxes had to be accessible once the room is finished. My $0.02, you should have replaced the entire switch leg.

Yes. Junction boxes must be accessible. Using 14 gauge wire in a kitchen is also against code. Code requires minimum 12 gauge/20 amp GFCI and AFCI protected service…
