  • This is video number 6 of a complete - COMPLETE - kitchen remodel.
    This video series includes demo, floor joist repair/replacement, sub-floor install, drywall, paint primer coat(this video), cement board under lament install(this video), tile, electrical, paint, cabinet install, new counter tops, and finally all finish carpentry = job done!
    In this video we will paint on two coats of primer, install cement/concrete board, and install a really nice can light trim kit …we’ll complete painting and finish electrical installs in video 8 of this series - so please subscribe so you don’t miss seeing this project come together!

    You need the Wooster Brush BR045-18 and Wooster Brush BR412-21. They will make your life easier. Also, when painting ceilings you want to make sure that your final coat of paint is rolled either in the direction of a natural light source (window) or along the longest wall to reduce the chances of weird things happening to the finish.

    What are your thoughts on Pova-Flex, instead of, cement backer board?

    Do you really need to cut in around the outlets when there's no face plates? Just curious.

      Howdy Stephen S! No sir...you don’t have to...but I do for a quality job! Plus having a few extra coats increases the “scrubability” around switches and outlets - which tend to get more dirty than other areas of the wall. Thanks for watching and for the question! ☘️
