  • This is video number 5 of a complete - COMPLETE - kitchen remodel. This video series includes demo, floor joist repair/replacement, sub-floor install (this video), cement board under lament install, tile, electrical (this video), drywall, paint, cabinet install, new counter tops, and finally all finish carpentry = job done!

    hello, just wondering if that was a load bearing wall you did that joist repair over head framing and knee wall? thanks

    Why is the wood you are screwing together different? some are a lighter color then others.

      Not sure why there is a color change…all are Douglas For studs.

    are you guys using 2 1/2 or 3 inch decking screws?
