Ngl I was kinda malding at the placement of some of these until he mentioned The Simpsons arcade game, such an underrated gem that doesn’t get the love it deserves. Awesome video!
I think the The Godfather coulda made it on the list. As far as early GTA clones go, it really stood out with its unique gameplay, and it was surprisingly faithful to the source material. It's definitely one of my favorite movie-based games.
Fantastic video. Licensed games have never been all bad! Super Star Wars Return of the Jedi is incredible. Good to see it here. As well as Batman Returns. I've never played the TMNT game but now I want to. I've also never played Darkwing Duck but I think I should. Some other good licensed games I want to mention are the Adventures of Batman & Robin (SNES), The Death and Return of Superman (SNES), Spider-Man (N64), X-Men Next Dimension (GC), Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (SNES), and Hulk (GC). That's not even accounting for all the great anime based games. There's some fun Godzilla games too.
you've inspired me to make a licensed IP video game video of my own good sir. well done here. some of my personal favorites are Spongebob B4BB, the Simpsons game and Hit & Run, and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3. but those are just scratching the list
What a great video. Litterly could feel the tension build up as you were counting down. Wondering if ducktales was gonna make the cut. I was surprised nothing from the dungeons & dragons license made the list. Specifically the classic pools of radience or balders gate. Also worth mentioning the amazing terminator on the sega cd. The best terminator game ever made. True lies for the genesis is a great game as well as predator 2. Another one id absolutely break your multiple license rule over. Cause its a comic book game that was licensed off of two movies which in turn had its own movie based off the mash up. Is alien vs predator 2. A pc exclusive. Just amazing. And another for this category is the genesis version of robocop vs terminator Anyway good job
I had E.T. back in the day. While I wouldn't say it was a good game, it's nowhere near as bad as its reputation suggests. I've seen games that are much worse. The reason so many copies were dumped in the desert was that the demand for the game was extremely overestimated.
I don't think the ET game is bad. I think it was fun and I've talked to people who played it at the time and also liked it. The problem was that the company was bad at selling games and instead of doing anything that would be logical like lowering the price, including it in a bundle, they literally gave up on their job of selling the game and made an illegal landfill to throw out all the leftover copies that were taking up space. I played it for the first time last year expecting it to be so terrible that I couldn't play it for more than a few seconds but I was pleasantly surprised when it was more fun than a lot of other Atari games that I'd gotten from around the same time.
The same goes for the Superman game on N64. That game was more fun than the youtubers pretending to be angry make it out to be. I remember playing Harry Potter on PS1, there's a similar fly-through-the-rings level at the beginning that is so much worse. I don't understand why people over-exaggerate that things are *the worst* of anything.
Interesting list though I'm kind of disappointed neither Bucky O'Hare game, and none of the good Alien, Alien versus Predator, GI Joe, Star Trek, or Terminator based games made the cut
This video is going to have around 100k to 1m views once the youtube algorithm recommends it 3-6 years later lol
it's already starting
And here we go!
2 years later, just popped on me feed. This comment aged like wine
Great video to listen to at work. Thanks for being inspired one night to make it!
Great list…but…Simspons Road Rage was the Crazy Taxi clone, Hit & Run was the GTA one
Yeah I did a serious double take when he started talking about it haha
@@BaruchFilms same, started to second guess myself and had to check my copies to make sure I was right lol
@@deadpool3982 you should have known ;)
Very funny and well produced video dude, I'm shocked you don't have more views.

Anyway good job
I love Die Hard Arcade! great video 😏
The Walking Dead is such a good game my brain never even registers it as a licensed game, it feels like it’s own thing.

This came up in my feed.. 2 YEARS TOO LATE! Great content friend ❤
Good and unique variety
just got in my recommended 2 years later lol
Good video but could've done with some timestamps
Holy hell the amount of star wars games. 🙄
Toy Story for Genesis is so underrated.
This man just perfectly described me in the intro

Arkham City is way too low on this list, but other than that, highly entertaining video.
Hit and run is not crazy Taxi, its Road Rage. And this video is a waste of time the narrator doesnt have a clue about most games on the list
I love for Captain America: The First Avenger on ps3/360? It’s actually decent
God of war?*
Interesting list though I'm kind of disappointed neither Bucky O'Hare game, and none of the good Alien, Alien versus Predator, GI Joe, Star Trek, or Terminator based games made the cut
to me The Simpsons Game felt like i was playing through and Episode of the show
