Hey dude- absolutely loving your channel! Used to love Simpsons hit and run on my PS2, Wipeout, Ghosthunter, Spyro gateway to glimmer. Also Zelda Twilight Princess on the Wii.
I played the incredibles as a kid but but never finished it. Fast forward like 8 years to uni and I found it in a charity shop. Quite honesty one of the hardest games I’ve played, there we so many irritating little things that would get you killed. Made it so much more satisfying when I did eventually beat it
I remember getting spider wick for the ps2 and I got half way through the first level and it froze and stopped working completely. I’m pretty sure I just sat looking at my telly slowly tearing up knowing the fact my dad would have to go back to granger games and get a refund.
I have a strangely vivid memory of renting Chamber of Secrets on PS2 when I was around 7 years old. I remember getting to the second level and turning it off after a few minutes because I found the sound design, music and level aesthetic too scary and unnerving to continue playing.
Which is better for anyone who played both, Return of the King or King Kong? I downloaded them both recently. I did play a little of Return of the King long time ago so I don't remember much.
@kaletovhangar Yeah, it looks pretty good so far. I am currently playing it on PCSX2. Unfortunately, the frame rate is unstable when I play on any power plan other than high-performance, but if I choose high-performance, the CPU temperature can go above 90. I wish there was a way to reduce the temp without sacrificing the performance.
Lemony Snicket. That's a name that has sat at the very end of my mental filing cabinet for a very long time. The only thing I remember about Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Game (Jesus that's a mouthful), was watching a commercial where they advertise the baby can eat her way through solid objects like wood boards and pipes. I just quickly watched a video of a playthrough, and that does happen, but I could have sworn that the baby's head would instantly grow to comical proportions and it would just *CHOMP* it's way straight through like it was straight out of a cartoon. I guess not? Although a baby rapidly gnawing it's way through lead pipes in a somewhat realistic fashion as a game mechanic is actually funnier now that I think of it. The only thing I remember about the movie ,which I did watch once, was a scene where they were on a rowboat and got attacked by leeches that would jump out of the water? I just remember an old lady screaming "IT'S THE LEECHES!"
You can enable crosshairs and ammo counts for King Kong in the Options menu. Found that out after my first playthrough God, that game was fucking excellent! Thank you, Peter Jackson! The world doesn't deserve you and neither do I! Also, the Spongebob game belongs at the top and although I know your criteria, I am sad that X-Men 2: Wolverine's Revenge didn't appear as that game was a massive contributor to my childhood. Fantastic 4 was better than it needed to be, it's sequel and the X-Men game you did talk about were both so boring I didn't even complete them. Also, no Hulk 1 game. I'm guessing you didn't play that. Still, would've been cool to hear about it as I have heard no talk on it at all, despite knowing it exists
One quality movie game is Monster House Think of Resident Evil but in the kids genre, a quality game but treads away from what actually happened in the movie, to make things more exciting of course
If you loved Chamber Of Secrets for the PS2 then you should try the PS1 version, they was 2 separate games and in my opinion the PS1 felt longer and the puzzles felt more challenging. The PS2 game is a solid game but the PS1 version gets so overlooked at.
Bruh. Most of the early gaming experience was these fuckin movie games. Sure I had some of the normal cool ass popular games too. But damn me and the fam we're just obsessed with these type of games.
Dude King Kong scared the fuck outta me, my heartbeat would go fast when you distract the V-Rex to Escape, plus you playing as Kong in 3rd person was awesome fighting Dinosaur's his size
Hulk ultimate destruction, ghost rider, spider man 2, ultimate Spider-Man, and punisher are amazing marvel ps2 games also marvel rise of the imperfections and marvel alliance, are nice but not as cool as the others I mentioned
Dude over the hedge was so much fun with a friend, and star wars episode 3 was one of my all time favorites having light saber battles with my friends it should be higher on your list and finally King Kong what a game I wish they did a remaster
There's also a game based off of the Jumanji spin-off movie called Zathura. You'll kick yourself for forgetting it seeing as it's an incredible achievement in the field of videogame brilliance
Good video man! One thing to nitpick though, Chamber of Secrets on ps2 is not "universally considered" the best, OotP on 360 is considered the best by a mile
Superman Returns is an awful game. It has the open world thing going on for it, but that's it. It has no narrative whatsoever. Just random missions to destroy robots/aliens or put out fires. OVER AND OVER AGAIN
Subscribe to my 2nd Channel 'Tom Fiftey' to watch me actually play movie tie-in games terribly
ruclips.net/channel/UCFtkT7c5VeGh8HnEfwjatzA
Can you tone it down with the millennial gen z ass fucking editing and quirky facial expressions holy shit
The king kong game brings back memories, those T-Rex missions tho were fucking STRESSFUL oml😭

1st time watching 1 of these videos and the cuts to some of the game footage was just comedy!

That King Kong game was also on Xbox 360 as a launch title, I guess that version is even better form what I’ve heard
I remember there being an Open Season tie in game back in 2006, played it on the 360
Even to this day I play through the King Kong game a few times a year it’s just too good
I remember getting spider wick for the ps2 and I got half way through the first level and it froze and stopped working completely. I’m pretty sure I just sat looking at my telly slowly tearing up knowing the fact my dad would have to go back to granger games and get a refund.
Subscribed because you said "swear down" and I felt like I was back at school again.
You say you're easily impressed 😅
Safe, bruv

King Kong is great for people into FPS and survival horror games.

For me personally the best movie Game's Spider-Man 2
X-Men origins wolverine uncaged edition and Star Wars episode III Revenge of the Sith
21:17 I though for a second he'd drop a fart on Sandman's face!
Terminator 3 rise of the machines was on ps2 and was a movie tie in game as it had scenes from the movie

prisoner of azkaban beat gta V to controlling multiple main characters, let's go
Ps2 the days where every movie had a video game counterpart
Chamber was great.....
I remeber playing a transformers tie in that made me fucking cry with remorse cause i bought it on my birthday 😭😢
there was actually like 6 attack of the clones games released.
Why’d you have to do spiderwick chronicles so dirty 💀 that movie is classic
If you loved Chamber Of Secrets for the PS2 then you should try the PS1 version, they was 2 separate games and in my opinion the PS1 felt longer and the puzzles felt more challenging. The PS2 game is a solid game but the PS1 version gets so overlooked at.
Thanks for the suggestion
Bruh. Most of the early gaming experience was these fuckin movie games. Sure I had some of the normal cool ass popular games too. But damn me and the fam we're just obsessed with these type of games.
Would the 1970s thing count as a spinoff game for ps2?
I know it’s tv but the 1st buffy game was very good
You forgot to include TMNT 2007 movie tie in game
I gave you a like as soon as I heard that Ratatouille is the best Pixar film 🙏
I actually love A Bug's Life lol. But the Toy Story movies are my favorites
Dude King Kong scared the fuck outta me, my heartbeat would go fast when you distract the V-Rex to Escape, plus you playing as Kong in 3rd person was awesome fighting Dinosaur's his size
Revenge of the sith PvP makes it an easy S
Sherk 2 was a great game
King Kong will always be #1
Incredibles 2 had a tie in but a decade later 🤣 the movie was the exact same as the game
Meet the Robinson movie game was actually good, It’s not Zelda, but I recommend it
Shrek the third is not that bad
Hulk ultimate destruction, ghost rider, spider man 2, ultimate Spider-Man, and punisher are amazing marvel ps2 games also marvel rise of the imperfections and marvel alliance, are nice but not as cool as the others I mentioned
Love the content bro
Batman felt like a ps3 game was very good, good game mechanics and playing style
The golden compass own the Xbox 360 version and it a ok game beat some of the TT games like transformer's and the modern Lego games.
25 minutes of shitting on my favourite films as a kid
The Warriors S-tier
You didnt include the warriors.

It took all my power not to click off at “naughty naughties”

Giving you one more shot 😅
There's also a game based off of the Jumanji spin-off movie called Zathura. You'll kick yourself for forgetting it seeing as it's an incredible achievement in the field of videogame brilliance
Go watch cars 10/10
Aren't you technically playing all of these for money? That's kinda the whole youtube/streamer thing?
I love a RUclips pedant. Thumbs up!
@@PP-bw8ig thanks! I knew someone would appreciate my attention to detail.
King Kong was the GOAT. One thing these games make me think of, remember the days of cheat codes not mods?
Good video man! One thing to nitpick though, Chamber of Secrets on ps2 is not "universally considered" the best, OotP on 360 is considered the best by a mile
Superman Returns is an awful game. It has the open world thing going on for it, but that's it. It has no narrative whatsoever. Just random missions to destroy robots/aliens or put out fires. OVER AND OVER AGAIN
Spiderwick disagrees with deserved 1st place
Where is the Matrix? How do you forget the Matrix
Chicken little was actually a decent game
Superman returns is way worse
Does Kingdom Hearts count? Lol
Cars game was good not great, but not as average as you think. Yeah it's corny and the plot is weird bu gameplay is good for ps2
Better on Xbox
Peter Jackson's King Kong and The Spiderwick Chronicles are my favorite also Harry Potter 1 2 3 4 5 6 too
