I have been watching you for while and let me say you have me inspired. this past year I saved alone from the savings challenge $40,344 and paid off my student debt. I had almost $20,000 left over and decided to invest it into my home funds to continue to save up for a new home. One step at a time and I did all that in a year.

I'm doing a challenge where I collect and save 100 of each denomination. So like 100 ones, 100 fives, 100 tens and so on. To collect all denominations would be $18,600. Right now I've done 100 of the ones, 100 of the fives, 100 of the tens, 100 of the twenties, only 42 of the fifties and 100 of the hundreds. So far I have 15,700. Just need to do the rest of the fifties! So I'm almost done!
A lot of the savings challenges can be met by saving money in the individual budget categories. For example; if you budget 100 dollars for groceries and only use 87, those other 13 dollars can be put into a savings challenge
Just found you and you did awesome I saved for 6 months and saved 2100 and fully funded my emergency fund and saved 1000 for Christmas in the bank got both car repair done, paid my taxes I also use shopping apps to help me with saving

Soooo if over half of this is going towards CC why would you wait the entire year to pay off on those ??? An entire year getting charged interest because you’re hard core doing your little challenges instead of hard core paying down on CC’s makes absolutely no sense …

oh my gosh, how awesome is that! i completed my first challenge of 120 and i was so freaking happy, was my first time doing a challenge and i had to start out slow. but i completed it, was to go to an emergency fund tires went out on the car, so that was an emergency used toward that. so now we are starting with a second challenge as paying for tires i couldnt stuff the fund. i also started a mini challenge of $25, hoping i can do both!!! hahahha, congrats to you!
My husband doesn’t even make that in a year! I’m on disability and trust me, I’m blessed with what I get and when you combine our incomes it’s decent, but the cost of living is ridiculous. 2024 we are buckling down.

Hi, I just ensure I funds allocated for all my needs so that I will not have to touch the funds that I am saving. Once you get your budgeting rhythm going, it’s pretty easy 😊

I have a question. When you have this amount of money in your house arent taxes controling the house once in a while. Because we have that problem in the netherlands. You only can have i think 2000 euros in your home as a family of 4. Or you paying money over your cash savings
