I start studying. It will take time, but I have the impression that it was a real revelation that I came across this tutorial. Congratulations for the immeasurable effort of the author of the tutorial.
This may be the best tutorial for any software I've ever seen. The tone, the pace, the structure, and the technical level are all perfect for the way my brain works. I find Adobe's own instructional materials to be cryptic at best, but this one hits it out of the park. Thanks so much for doing all this work for us.
Dave Casuto, you have saved my life. I'm in grad school needing to prepare a project proposal and have never used InDesign before. I agree with the other reviewers - this is the best online tutorial I have ever seen! No contest. The pace, the flow of topics, the practical examples, the expert screen viewing and articulation of what/how to do things... sheer perfection. This is model for online software training instructors. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Mr. David This is Belachew from Ethiopia, and I'd want to express my gratitude for the teaching. I'm taking all of your Adobe courses, and you truly can make a difference. Stay blessed, you're an all-time amazing instructor.
@@LearnitTraining Indeed, I have profited greatly and would like to express my gratitude once more. Your approach is simple to grasp, with a good flow of information and an engaging tone.
Literally the best tutorial I've ever seen, including exercise files, clearly delineated chapters, and thorough explanations. It's setup so you can come back at any point and skip to the specific section you need. Invaluable - thank you!
This is paced perfectly to work along with. The skills are timestamped making it easy to skip skills, or jump to those you are interested in. The presenters voice is clear and his pace is even. Super job all the way around. Thank you!
Awesome! I am Oyekezie Hyacinth from Nigeria 🇳🇬. I think the instructor had me in mind while creating this amazing content. This is so far the BEST beginner tutorial you can see on RUclips. ✳️ ✳️ ✳️ ✳️ ✳️ and a kiss. Million thanks
This is the best tutorial series I've ever viewed. I had several subscriptions to services during the past 25 years, but there always seemed to be some explanations missing. The learnit series takes you logically and orderly from point to point: A, B, C, D, E no missing steps. The other services would be more like: A, B... D, E creating confusion and making you wonder how they got to D? Wasting lots of time, rewinding videos, or searching through community forums. There are no missing steps in this series, and it clearly demonstrates how all the adobe programs are integrated. If you view, one series, you gain a basic understanding of the others: Preferences, Work Spaces, Menus, Customizations and so forth.
Omg thank you so much ❤️ I just finished 2 hours of this video and will continue the remaining video tomorrow just to let it sink in. I have basic photoshop knowledge so I'm only viewing the video and learning as of now. After completing the whole 4 hours video tomorrow, I will rewatch it again from the beginning and learn again by practicing it with the instructor. To be continued 2:03:00
Great, thank you! I've been working with Illustrator and Photoshop forever and needed an InDesign refresher/update. It's never been my jam but it will be my bread and butter and this is very professional and thorough class.
The epitome of this guy's enthusiasm: *finding and replacing "eggs" with a different character style -What!! 19 replacements and it found all the eggs?? Omg! That is HUGE! Love that!
As a university student who has to use InDesign as it's industry standard and didn't know where to start- holy fuck this tutorial is so helpful and makes so much sense! Thank you so much! :D
Thank you so much for offering a wealth of information for free. I also appreciate the option to pause after each section to try out what has been shown...invaluable. Allowed me to unlearn some unproductive habits.
@@LearnitTraining It was so thorough I got through my first 12-page brochure using just your instruction, and the printer complimented me on exporting the file vs sending as a pdf, which ensured the brand colors were true to color when printed.
GREAT course!! I love the enthusiasm of the instructor and the clarity of the contents covered. Thank you for making this course and supporting files available!
Thank you so very much for this course, what an incredibly good resource! I thoroughly enjoyed your teaching style and feel confident with the content covered. Onto Part 2 now. I wanted to express many sincere gratitude for all the time and effort put into making this course, it’s rare to find something taught this well. Many, many thanks and sincere gratitude. Danielle
Well I wish I would have had this 15 years ago. I started with Clairis Works in the late 80s when I was working in the publishing/advert field. InDesign seems similar but I had no clue how to transfer knowledge from one to another. Sending stuff to the printer was far more complex with having to set screens for the pages, use postscript fonts and cymk color break downs by vendor. I find myself amazed that it appears that much of that hassle has been tucked away. I almost forgot having to send all my images as correct tiffs. Which was a job within a job.
This is an incredibly helpful beginner's guide, thank you so much for taking the time to make it. Gosh, what a labour of love! I have a tiny tiny tiny request for future videos, please. In some of the lessons in this video, there is a dark background instead of a white background and this sometimes makes it very difficult for me to follow the cursor, even with my glasses on. However, when the background is white, it's super easy and I don't have to rewind all the time. Again, thank you so much xx
Am so happy u guys did a video on indesign. I'm looking forward for advance tutorial and more on indesign. This video was very smooth and helpful. Thank you so much, u guys are the best

hi, tnx for the tutorial its really great! for me in object style option, the "apply style to selection" is not active. I don't figure out the problem. but it seems to work correctly!
Very helpful, thank you for taking the time to do this. What screen capture application is this ? I like the ability it gives you to circle and point with an arrow to things.
Hi Michael, great video about Forum building. It would be good to see a reason to have groups instead of forum catagories. I can't see the reason for groups when the forum can have catagories. What do groups give you that a forum doesn't have?
great tutorial so far. Its kinda hard to find good indesign tutorial/course on youtube or other platform. But the tutorial here is easy to follow and the quality of the tutorial just great (the video, the steps, the sound and the instructor is fun!). Amazing Tutorial! Does anyone know how to insert a new spread in an existing document so that the pages are pushed down to a new row and the numbering starts over like what's shown in the Paragraph Styles section @ 2:27:42?
Great video! I have a simple issue of splitting the text box. So around 2:19, you've formatted your layout into 2 columns and after you placed the recipe text, it becomes 1 text box that has two columns in it. How would you be able to split 1 text box into 2 and still keep the 2 columns? Thanks!
Thank you David, I learnt so much from your RUclips. I have already seen Photoshop, Illustrator and now I am looking at InDesign. However, somehow I cannot download this lesson. Can you please send me a link to download, so I able to practice?
