You can take a box of regular envelopes and seal them and cut them in half and use them for the 100 envelopes.

For my quarters I use the mini m&m container, the plastic ones you get at check out. The regular size will hold $20 while the small one holds $10. My mom used to do it to keep change in the car when we had to pay tolls and I still use it today.

All great ideas to save and not spend to save, if that makes sense lol
Made all my own when i first started 3 yrs ago, and still use most of them today.
My favorite hack is taking photo albums and putting money in each slot. You can personalize it for your very own amounts you desire, and once its complete, restart as many time as you like.

Girl you are speaking my language. As a person who publishes Budget Videos, this is a constant message. If you have lots of money, spend it, but if you are trying to get out of debt or save for the future, nothing fancy is needed. Great job finding all these budget friendly goodies. I also make most of my stuff but that is because as a long-time paper crafter, I have all the tools.

Some banks will give you coin wrappers for free.
I've used those small file folders for years. Paper envelopes work just as well. They can be clipped together.
I really like how you think! You're so clever and creative. I use what I have to make what I need.
When I saw you open the box of paper envelopes, I realized you could let that be a 100 envelope box and put a number on each envelope, and then just stuff the paper envelopes... If you buy a box of 100 envelopes.
    You are so, SO ingenious!!!

I love the DIY items that you share on your channel! I fell into that Etsy buying issue and ended up spending tons of money on things either I used for a short amount of time or things I’ve never gotten around to using! I can see where people can fall into the Etsy Buying situation, and just buying either too much or buying things they don’t need or buying things just because of how nice they look! You’re absolutely right those envelopes take a ton of time to put together, and I love the fact that you showed us how to do those in another video and a step-by-step process! Definitely agree with you. There are much cheaper items out there on the market that people can do or they can even use the free version of things, such as canvas to make their own savings challenges, and things of that sort of nature.

    Love your video & ideas!
I have some extra tips for you in case they may help. I used these when I first started out. 1) use what you have at home. I used stickers, crayons, colored paper or washie tape to decorate my plain envelopes. 2) use the envelopes that come in the mail for bills that you don’t use and decorate them with stickers & markers. 3) create a small budget saving challenge by using 1 or 2 dice. Put that number in your envelope. It adds up! 4) some budget community folks offer free saving challenges. You just have to print them.
Hope some of these help! Great job! 😊

I had no idea this was a movement! I started doing cash only spending back in 1999 when Suze Orman suggested it on TV. She said to take mailing envelopes. That’s what I still do! I only stuff envelopes that I’ll use in the near future: groceries, home supplies, HBA, clothing, splurges, etc. Everything else stays in the bank. I have automatic savings transfers into my savings each month. No need to spend to save. But, you do a great job keeping the costs down. Good luck in your journey!!

Budgeting doesn't have to be an expensive affair. Spending a lot of money to save makes no sense. You can always build up once you're in the position to do so.

@@imjaime100 cute is in eye of beholder for starts and use your imagination to "do plastic surgery " on items. Example; if have markers already, draw picts on item, I got a canister past xmas filled w/ candy and I use it to save change for yr ,

for the laminated savings challenges, a wet-erase marker would work really well to make them reuseable so you dont have to keep making or buying them! and they should stay marked until you wash them.

You could even use the index cards for dividing just add a label.
Love the white sticker idea, you could put what ever if it changes
