- In this video I am sharing my process of how to make cash envelopes
Tips:
The measurments I used for the vellum: 3.2" x 6.5"
Make sure to leave 1/2" below the vellum after it is laminated so you can punch the holes.
After your envelopes are cut down to size measure the length and find the center so you can make sure all of your envelopes are punched correctly and centered.

This cash-stuffing budgeting concept has yet to take off in Europe, so it ends up being rather expensive to order everything from the United States. Therefore, this is a very valuable video for those who want to keep their cash-stuffing binders organized and aesthetically pleasing.
It definitely has in the UK!
These look so sharp! It's amazing how vellum can make even the grungiest dollar bill look fancy.
Did anyone know how thick the vellum is? Thanks!
Hands-down, one of the best DIY laminated vellum envelope tutorials I’ve ever seen! I have bought bought these and yes you’re right they’re very pricey, but I will tell you they’re worth the cost because how long it took you to just to make one OMG I could not imagine having a shop and having to custom make these
Wow, thank you! They definitely take a lot of time so I get the high price for them too!
I agree you explain it so well thankyou
Thank you for showing us how to make these. It will save us a lot of money!
34:50 for the hole punches, that hole puncher has a slider on the bottom to adjust the guide on the top so that the holes are centered. you can adjust it from personal and a7 and others and it'll align with the hole punches
Omg thank you!!!
Thank you for sharing, I use to make envelope pockets for my planners. Now I'll be making them for my budget binders. 😊💜
Thank you for taking the time to share this!
Thank you taking the time to show us how you make these envelopes!

Thank you Desiree for making this video very very informative, I've looked at other "tutorials" I tried it how they mentioned but never got that foggy finish. Since the video's never mentioned of using fellum paper and also the difference between 5ml and 10ml 🤦🏻♀🙄
Thank you again for being as detailed as possible and sharing your mistakes 🙏🏻 Love ya, byeeee 😁

@@Happy2planwithDesiree quite weird, most brands are out of stock (too many of us? Hahaha)

New subscriber. Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks so much for the sub!
thank you so much for sharing this content, excuse me would you be kind to share information about what Printer and printer settings you use for Vellum printing, also what vellum sheet do you use? I am currently using an inkjet L3251 but I feel like it prints too light not sure if im suing the right settings.
Only way to learn is from your mistakes. Great tutorial.
Yes exactly!
First and foremost thank you for sharing your knowledge, may God Bless you for sharing this valuable tutorial for all of us. If you dont mind me asking what are the printer settings you use? I been struggling with ink drying or not spreading on vellum, im wondering what im doing wrong. or if I use print with laser instead. Im currently using an Epson Inkjet printer
thank you for the video!! even when I cut a little over it still doesn't stick to the 3mil. Am I doing something wrong? It keeps separating after I laminate it.
I just found your channel and subscribed. I’m going to try your process on making these. Your instructions are very clear and easy to understand. Have you made the envelopes with tabs yet? Thank you.
the best ! thank you - new to your channel😉😊
Thanks for the sub!
I've been looking at these online and wanting...I make greeting cards and have a ton of vellum...guess what I'm doing this weekend. I have a package sealer I wonder if that'd work? And then get my Cricut to cut vinyl numbers/words out. Thanks for the video! And the inspo!
Great tutorial! How do you make the tracker inserts inside of each envelope? A tutorial on that would be super helpful too.
On another video she mentions she recommends Plan with Ilyse has the same trackers
Great tutorial. I didn't see you post about the binders. Do you mind giving the link to where you got both binders?
Hello, thank you so much for this video. I’ve made a whole batch of envelopes from your tutorial. Is the vellum supposed to be loose inside the envelope? Mine are fixed on three sides but the top edge is free. Does that make sense? So I have to be careful to tuck the money behind the vellum or it’ll slide in front of it. I keep rewatching parts of the video to see if that’s supposed to happen. I do have an edge over the vellum so it doesn’t catch but it being loose just seem right? Or is it? I’d really appreciate your help. Thank you.
Great video
Thanks!
Hi Desiree i love your video on making the envelopes for the binders there is just one question i want to ask you which printer do you use please
Hold shift when you drag the line, and it’ll keep it straight, so it doesn’t snap at an angle.
Thanks! I just learned this and it’s amazing to finally know that little trick
What size planner/binder would be used for this specific measurement?
I love this so much ! This helps starting a budgeting journey and not having to spend so much to make it pretty and fun. I do have a question, is it necessary to do the double lamination sheets or will it work with just the vellum inside? Thank you!!
I have to play around with trying with one lamination because last time I did that the vellum just slipped out. I think maybe I didn’t run it through the laminator when it wasn’t enough. But honestly I like having it doubled because it makes them even studier
@@Happy2planwithDesiree that’s what I wondered too if it would just slip right out. Thanks for letting me know your experience and Thank you so much for your kindness! I can’t wait to try these!
Do you know how to make the vellum like money place holder with it saying like $500 or $1000
The best envelope tutorial on RUclips! Quick question, since the 3 mil sheets are on the inside, can they be glossy instead of matte? Trying to figure out if I need to buy the 3 mil matte sheets, since I already have them in glossy. Thank you!!
Yes you can!
what kind of printer did you use? I heard vellum can be tricky if you don't have a laser printer
I love this thank you so much i was struggling, what where your printer settings for the vellum? ❤
The only thing I change is to set my printer to print best quality.
Thank you so much for sharing. It came out really nice. Can you provide me the link to your binder you’re using? ☺️
Here are the links to the binders I use
Green Budget Binder amzn.to/3JP2eiL Clear Binders amzn.to/3HNs1qk Moterm A6 Binder amzn.to/40cWe8W
Thank you for this video! I attempted to make my own bud I cannot get my printer to print on the vellum. What kind of printer are you using? Are there special settings? Thanks!
Here's the printer I use amzn.to/3q9XGfQ The only thing I make sure to change is to set the print quality to best.
I’ve just solved my problem!! I had the vellum inside the envelope instead of on top 😅
Amiga hola, hermoso tus sobres. Dime algo, donde veo tus enlaces de Amazon para comprar las laminas por favor. Gracias !!!
Thank you for the video but I’ve been stuck on a particular step. In Canva when you start dong the measuring on the lines. The measurements do not appear for me and I’ve went to settings and I could place a ruler however it messes me up with the margins. Please send me help lol Im trying to get a the measurements appear in Canva
Finally figured it out! From the menu bar select file then view settings. Then select show rulers and guides it should pop up then🤗
Does the 'personal' setting work with A6 binders you can buy on amazon? Or is that an A7? I have the punch from Hobby Lobby, and a binder from there too (the paper studio one) that uses the 'personal' punch setting. I seems different from the A6 setting. Help! haha, great video and I'll me making some this weekend!
This is the most confusing thing I learned when I started this! 😅 the personal setting on the punch will punch holes for the binders you find on Amazon that say they are A6. The only binder I have purchased that matches the A6 holes on my punch is the moterm I have linked in my description. I made the mistake of buying this and now the envelopes I used in the moterm don’t work in the binders I buy from everyone else selling those A6 binders it’s so confusing! Hopefully this makes sense.
