I just came across this video, yesterday. I'm so excited to try this method. I followed along, did my budget, and labeled my envelopes. I work part-time so I'm challenging myself to make this work on a limited budget. I've been on Fetch for the past year and I also make a tiny bit of money doing surveys online and bring in a little money selling some crafts. I asked God to help me with my finances and he blessed me with your video. It will probably take me a month to really see some progress but I know I will get there.❤❤❤

Celisa started me on my budget journey back in Jan too. I ordered several items from her but i ended creating my own pages which i now use religiously lol. Ive made huge progress by doing the zero based budget also n im soooo thankful i found these types of channels because i needed serious help getting my spending under control lol

Thank you for this video!!! This is exactly the explanation I needed!!! I started in October but once November hit, I had expenses I did not know was coming. Ex: license renewal was $100! So things like that I never thought of. I know realize that auto taxes are due in August so that will be another envelope. This video opened my eyes and now I can make a plan and move forward. 💜💜💜

This is fantastic I just received my book today and I followed my budget exactly how you just did your budget and I just have to work on zeroing everything out because I had quite a bit of money left over and plus we get all of our money at the first of the month and the end of each month so it’s not exactly every two weeks so it was kind of challenging. It’s more like once per month.
Sounds like you are on your way, though. Great job for taking action. I bet this time next year you will be in a whole new financial spot!!

Do you have anything for retirement or investment. To me I’d allocate the money FIRST for emergency fund and investment/retirement before the fun, eating out, extras etc. Yes?? Or am I missing something? Thanks! I like the theory for allocating to envelopes. I’m assuming you make a with drawls for the $425 and then put the cash in the envelopes?

You do exactly what I do and I try to keep and stay with the same routine and it has been good for me lately and I absolutely love it I save and have enough to pay my bills but splitting your check the most important thing is the rent is the first thing that you have to take out electricity of course everything that's more important and then think about the least important to put aside

Tip: most utilities have Equal Pay options. This helps a ton with being able to have a consistent amount to plan the budget every month
