I think I have been looking for a video on how to make these for about four days. And you are the only person who explained it the way I needed to hear so thank you. 🎉
I Love these Vellum Matte place holders! They look great and I'm loving the script you selected for the "in the bank" on the front. Great job and thank you so much for this tutorial!!
The printers that have a problem printing on velum are the ones who load from the bottom and then flip the paper during printing. You have to use the top loading printers so it goes through the printer straight
This was such perfect timing for me! I found this video this morning and half way through watching all my matt laminator pouches turned up! 🙌🏻 Three guesses what I’ll be doing this afternoon?! 💕💕
Thank you for showing your viewers how to make these envelopes. I have seen some placeholders on Etsy that are cut very closely along all edges and rounded - there are no clear margins on any of sides if that makes sense. They are stated in Etsy as being made from vellum and 5 mil lamination. Since you are familiar with making envelopes, do you know how they can get the edges cut so that they don't show any laminated margin at all. I like the clean look of those and I have many placeholders to make so it's not financially beneficial to order so many on Etsy at this time. Thank you again for making such great videos and being so transparent on your process.
your tutorial was amazing! my only trouble is whenever i use canva i’m not able to select my measurements. did you have to buy the canva pro? i’m using my mas desktop and ipad and both don’t give me the option to use a measurement
Hi! My desk is actually a custom desk I had made by my work...I work for a furniture manufacturer. But I can give you the laminate finish www.surfacematerials.com/grey-wash-oak-matte-finish.html
No I don’t. It’s not a bad trimmer but I prefer to use mine for straight cuts. But if I ever do some diagonal cut I will for sure it because it has some nice guide lines for that
You don’t have to use the vellum. Actually the vellum is very light and thin so it’s not adding anything to the structure. But make sure to use at least the 5mm
I seem to be having a problem where the vellum is not sticking to the laminating sheets so im guessing it's my laminator. Because I followed your tutorial to a T and I keep getting that problem

Finally a tutorial in Canva! I watched 3 videos of someone cutting a placeholder after it was printed and calling it a tutorial. No ma’am!
I made a border around mine just so I would know where to cut😊 But you are the best tutorial I have found for this!
I love your "how-to" videos! Because of you, I've been making my own cash envelopes and actually enjoy it! lol Thank you for sharing!! 👍
Omg that’s amazing! I love hearing that!!!

Great video, thank you. And your nails!! 🥰 beautiful! 🦊💰
Thank you for the video. Could you go over how you make the trackers and your cash sheets?
I am trying to figure out an easier way to make them...it's kind of an annoying process that I'm not sure I can explain very well in a video.

Desiree, where is your binder from? Another awesome video!
They are actually samples. I plan on opening a shop where I will sell the binders that I like🤗
@@Happy2planwithDesireeyay! I’ll definitely wait until you open shop to purchase my own 😍 wallet from you!
Great video 💗🌷
Thank you 🤗
Thanks much! Great video!!!
You're welcome!
Do you use the paper trimmer on your laminator?
No I don’t. It’s not a bad trimmer but I prefer to use mine for straight cuts. But if I ever do some diagonal cut I will for sure it because it has some nice guide lines for that
Great Video!! 🦋💜🦋
Thank you! 🤗
Do you have to use the vellum? Would the pouches be sturdy enough on their own
You don’t have to use the vellum. Actually the vellum is very light and thin so it’s not adding anything to the structure. But make sure to use at least the 5mm
@@Happy2planwithDesiree thank you!!!! So the vellum is just for the frosty look?
Thank you for sharing this
Could you use vellum tracing paper to be even thinner since you're essentially laminating 8mil.
awesome, love this
Hey what type of ink do you buy ?
I seem to be having a problem where the vellum is not sticking to the laminating sheets so im guessing it's my laminator. Because I followed your tutorial to a T and I keep getting that problem
Oh ya it might be your laminator. And you use the 5mm setting? Maybe it’s not getting hot enough
@@Happy2planwithDesiree mine doesn't have different settings 😩
❤
😊👍🏾💰💚
