This is more of a software standpoint, if I want to fix a key but the problem is hardware, this will be useless.

Hello , I have done all the listed instructions on the video and neither of them operate . The interesting part is that my window menu button works on my wireless keyboard , virtual keyboard and on screen keyboard , however all the other keys specifically alphabetical keys do not function on three listed keyboard ways

@@mrsouf7833 try plugging the keyboard USB into a different USB that's what worked for me (sorry if this was already mentioned in the video I didn't watch the whole thing)

If after trying all these and nothing happens, check the keyboard connection to the motherboard and see if its fixed well. That was my issue

Hello, the solution part about uninstalling the keyboard and restarting the pc helped me a lot my keyboard started working again, my buttons q, caps lock, 1, `, tab and esc didnt work and now its working!!!!
But it keeps on stop working again like sooner or later

virtual keyboard can be find in control panel/settings and go to ease of access and select keyboard. you can turn the keyboard on screen mode on
I like that we have to type KEYBOARD with the broken keyboard first…

@@sezr12 Nope still got the problem although for the normal keys what i do is copy and paste them which takes a bit but oh well who cares and for the misc keys like shift tab bla bla i use microsoft powertoys where i bind useless keys to the broken ones

thats the annoying thing about windows, settings are not where you expect them to be found, or just simply dissapeared... Here the same problem - Windows 11 Pro version 23H2 - no keyboard opion in the troubleshootlist - But I found out that the problem also occurs when I'm in the Bios/ UEFI of HP. So I wander if it has to do something with the bios settings or drivers - Bluetooth keyboard and so on, all works fine, and all the simple soluions didn't work either (like changing regedit and making new profiles or hanging keysettings in the UEFI) Hope someone can make a video for this solution soon... os now m e looks like his (cos now my text looks like this :)
