Problem solved! The first option worked for me. The keyboard AND the touchpad were not working, but by just updating the keyboard driver they were both fixed.Thank you!

FYI... I just powered the computer down & waited 10 minutes before turning the power back on & it reset. I looked up this video on my phone while the power was off, assuming powering down wouldn’t work, & when I turned it on to follow these instructions; the keyboard had reset. Just thought I would share that as well. Obviously if you have something open that you haven’t saved this would be a poor option, but if that isn’t your deal then powering off worked just fine 👍
You might not see this comment but my keyboard won't work and it also keeps beeping and idk what to do I turned off all sticky keys and stuff like that please help?

If you tried all of these and it is still not working, just install the new update that your pc wants. It is a mandatory mechanism your pc provides to force you to install the update.
In device manager, I right clicked keyboard and got the options: 1)scan for hardware changes a 2) properties. Neither option led to anything. Kindly help please.

in my case not working these methods i am confused becoz when i start laptop on the initial screen all bottons are working but when i use keyboard in windows did not work a single botton i tried every single method like new windows, window update, keyboard driver update, trouble shooter and many methods but in device manage option "This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24)" an other thing that with keyboard there are two botton right upside 1 is Airplane Mode and other is Mute botton so with keyboard mute botton also stoped working only airplane botton and FN + Backlight key working in windows on the other side initial screen or in Setup every key is working before windows starts can you help me to get out from this dificult stress

Sad to say, Zero for 6 ... and this guy had the best vid that didn't work so far too, I was pulling for the fella to have that one thing I needed ... My issue is the g and h as well as backspace and the Windows key ... JUST those 4 keys as far as I know, its a corrupted driver or something to do with Win10 Filter Keys. had it fixed with a combo of hID Device driver swap and filter key secret handshake crap and cant get those 4 damn keys to work again ... Im a moron, tat could certainly be possible ... but THIS most DEFINITELY is a software issue that's makin me BATTY. Don't even think this was update related, just my reckless typing. Even reset Win10 ... clean 4 hour download w/o my recov disk style, just scraped the whole deal back to zero just to still have those 4 keys as my cunning and elusive nemesis! I'm running an old hP Pav g7 i3 notebook for any philanthropic gurus that know why its so darn hard to get a driver to function after an OS update .. and would enjoy sharing said knowledge ... have mercy wise ones. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Much love!!! ✌ ϻя.ƹ

Good video and worked before but this time didn’t. I just went and bought a USB keyboard which I plugged in and it worked straight away. Eventually my laptop keyboard started working again 🤷🏼♂️
