I had my online exam (thanks to COVID) and the stupid keyboard stopped functioning. Watched this video and the second method helped. Informative video with easiest explaination. I was very pessimistic about getting a solution but the second one worked for me also. Weird how a keyboard can start to have problems when the computer is updated at least once a week. Thanks to the author of the video.

I struggle so much to repair my F1 and F2 which doesn't work, because the driver was some how updated to an Apple keyboard by using Driver Easy Professional. You movie make me understand whats wrong and i manage to change it from apple to regular USB and now it works. Thanks!!

what do i do if none of them worked, and the problems is sorta not the same? Basically when i click alt my keyboard starts spamming the ">" character and starts pressing fullscreen and in short making everything just go haywire.

Help. On my keyboard. Asus x556U
Letter Z can't be pressed sometimes "W and S" is having a delay. And sometimes the esc button. Last year it was "enter and F6" button. Now enter and F6 is fix without me doing anything.

i have 2 types of keyboards at Keyboards i have "HID Keyboard Device" and "Standard PS/2 Keyboard" does that have to do anything with some keys not working?
so my keyboard only works sometimes when i press the key alot and also hard and its only to some specific keys so does that mean that its a hardware or software issue? because i dont want to replace my keyboard and risk damaging the laptop.

@@TechFixIT Um idk if you will look at this but for my keyboard sometimes when I press the keys it will not respond unless I rapidly click on it and it would just go back to not working and then just randomly work again and go back to not working so can you please help me

My problem is that on my Lenovo keyboard stoped working some letters -- - ---> BN TY {} and backspace, and no one of your suggestions wasn't good for me - didn't worked. Is there some different possiilities to get this done? I even bought a brand new keyboard, replaced it as it was, but still nothing!
the 2nd one worked. WSX keys were not working on my laptop. just enable and again disable the use filter key in the keyboard section of the ease of access in setting.

hey, so uninstalling driver doesn't work, trouble shooting doesn't work, only some keys not working .. tried some software but not sure if has to be toshiba drivers which I tried as well or if there's a driver software that works yt can't fix it that way as they all require purchase at some point the only key which has the under thingy to hold it that's broken is the H and yet it works fine.. any ideas? it was a sudden thing but can't figure when, it was a suddent night to day thing and wish computer said anything like "keyboard stopped working on this day" it'd be easier to figure what could've caused it at least it'd narrow down whoch software could've done it or if it's an update thing wince it keeps updating, and which update is the one that solves it... cos it may not be anything related directly to keyboard but that solves it...also i'm using an USB mouse since touchad also stopped working just like that in a snap

I couldn't use my w,e,l keys. I shut down my computer, plugged out the cable of the keyboard from the pc, then plugged it back in, booted up my pc and that worked for me

My keyboard has problems typing o and upon bootup,it starts spamming the letter o on the password which is annoying because i have to ctrl+a every now and then
i tried this a lot of times but it didn't work, it only worked when i fully shut down my laptop and not restarting it. Anyways thanks good sir for this tutorial
