I've had a crown fail. It chipped on the side where additional material was added. I hed it done at a dental school. The student first thought it was no large and filled it to fit. But, then it was to small. So, they added more - twice. It was on that surface where it chipped. It may here also been tall. Also, was very tight space between two crowns_ - which I liked because it kept food from getting in between and being caught under the bottom edge where it was difficult to remove. It's a Straumann implant and crown.
