Dr. Balogh, thank you so much for this wonderful video. I already have 5 implants. My oral surgeon used Stroemann implants in first 3 cases (##31, 30 ans 29) but now he completely switched to Noble Biocare. He installed Noble Biocare on tooth #4 (I believe it is made out of Zirconia Oxide, correct?) The implant on #4 seems fine but I am still uncomfortable with the crown because it went deeply into the gums which doesn't feel good. The second Noble Biocare implant was placed on #28 . After it was installed it actually looked too big for the spot, I thought that there was not enough bone to support it. Low and behold, I was right! The Implant on #28 came out completely in 3 weeks. Now I am doing research to find out which implant type is better for me. I feel that Stroemann would be better but my dentist doesn't use it anymore. I went for the second opinion and another oral surgeon told me that he would be using Korean implants (the name starts with an H). I am at crossroads and do not know what to do. Please advise!

The screw is Titanium as well but Straumann says that also doesn't touch the gum tissue. I am replacing Molar Number 14, the big boy, and I am metal sensitive. Thank you
@@cgkuch4184 I ended up going with Nobel which was a mistake. The implant was OK at first but when the dentist screwed in the crown it started to hurt. Replace with traditional dental bridge. Put crown on the tooth holding the bridge. I have had my dental bridge for 15 years. It has been fine. They cost a lot less then implants. Between $400-$2.000. The idea that implants are the only way to replace teeth is false.
It's not that implants are the only way to replace teeth ... What matters is that when a tooth is missing in the teeth, its root is also gone. And in the long term, the lack of the root causes other teeth to fall out and become crooked at first. So replacing the root with an artificial root;, that is what implants do. That being said; Metal is a no go to have in your body, so Zirconium is a very justified preference for people. Increasingly in demand.@@angelaschaefer5883

I found one 4 hours away who offers both but prefers the “hybrid.”
Thank You @Cindy I saw a photo of a titanium implant that corroded in someone’s mouth and can’t get the picture out of my head. I hate the idea of screwing metal into my head, but I get your point about what those dentists say, and I don’t want to be an experiment with a dentist who doesn’t have experience in zirconium either.
@@Warrior4JesusChrist reasons to avoid titanium are many including the imagine that is burned in your mind. I d avoid dentists who promote titanium but do some zirconia for (neurotic lol ) patents who prefer metal free. They will tell you that they have better results with titanium. Listen to them...it’s due to their lack of skill and experience placing Zirconia. Find the rare positive shoot metal free or strongly prefer metal free oral surgeon or periodontist with good education, training and ratings, They are out there. I thing an implant screwed in the jaw is positively creepy no matter what but if there’s no choice...🥲
I agree! I’m in the Cleveland Ohio area (Avon) going to have to fillings on Tuesday but been holding off on the titanium implant. I’m going to ask if they can recommend someone who can do zirconium in the Cleveland area, nothing really comes up on google and when I go to individual dentists websites they all seem to only mention titanium. Thanks for your response. It does freak me out screwing into my jaw. It’s to replace a crown, from a filling that was done that needed crowned and the tooth shattered after the filling. I don’t want metal in my body really especially with all the 5G going up and nanotechnology to manipulate humanity 😔
I am not your patient.
I’m more confused than ever now!!!! Zirconia $7000 more and may not be any better than titanium.
Honey go to Bucharest romania it's great way way cheaper
@@nataliemeenakshithegreat7780 thanks for the tip
Dentists buy Zirconia for less but the patients pay the same as for Titanium. That is the answer.
@@soniastjules my actual teeth where lazered out of a block of zerconia
yeah but when you have problems with the teeth, your own dentist in our own country will not help... impossible. to fix foreign material etc.@@nataliemeenakshithegreat7780
