  • We have capable full frame bodies that can easily be married to a lens for everyday use. This lens is great for that. ILCs are also more capable than any fixed lens body (duh)
Let me know what you think of the Chinese Helios.

the day I carry a full frame camera will be the day that I have money in my wallet... hopefully sometime in the next year or so lol

Fair! This and the OG Z6 would at least be relatively affordable

Interesting. I hadn't heard of this one! Ive got the TT 90/1.2 and 50/0.95 which are both great, particularly as they're so affordable compared to big brand offerings.

That’s some serious glass right there too! Kind of hoping they, or another OEM, make a 90mm f2 soon.

Is the Z7's thinner sensor stack working well with the M-mount glass? The other day, I was using my Voigtlander 35mm f/2.5 adapted to an L-mount body and was getting some serious green color cast in the corners. I had never considered the Nikon till you mentioned it in another video.

Yeah it’s been solid as far as I can see. Not sure how much it varies lens to lens without doing a bunch of tests, versus other systems, etc. to see firsthand, but that was one of the main reasons I didn’t go Sony after the switch. And I’m not spending SL money haha. Combined with the TZM-02 now, whatever I can adapt to M becomes way more useful. The Pearl River 58mm used in this is a Minolta mount lens

This is a strange focal length. I'll stick with Nikon 40F2 and Viltrox 20F2.8 for my Nikon Zf.

The 40mm f2 is hard to beat from everything I’ve seen. Good choices!
