Just pulled the triggered with a DOF motion rig, Fanatac 2.5 base, V3 pedals and BMW GT wheel and the G5 triple monitor setup as well. So excited. Thanks for the video, just what I was looking for.
Thank you for your video. I have the very same setup: triple G7's at 240 HZ+ 4th SamSung screen at 240HZ, RTX 3090, Ryzen 9 5950X, Fanatec DD1, SIMRIG SR2 motion. This is my first simrig so I was thrilled to see your video. I haven't tried HDR yet because I don't know anything about it. I am starting sim racing with ACC2 and with everything on epic settings, I am getting 1 getting 100 to 130FPS. Right away I can see that I don't have my FOV screen settings correct. I will try HDR once I figure out how to turn HDR on.

@@javajoe_gaming9923 Extreme is where the fun is at. In the last year I have added to my sim. I now have 5 G7 curved monitors, 3 for racing, 1 for Simhub, 1 for Windows OS, and a Ryzen 9 7950X, and a 4090 GPU. I'm retired so I guess the upgrades gave me something to do. I was hoping that the 2023 update of ACC would improve graphics to a near rendered look, but that didn't happen. My GPU and CPU can do so much more than ACC requires so there's no reason to improve the sim right now. If only my driving skills would improve. I'm not thrilled with the ACC 2023 update. I still have problems with tire grip. FYI, I tried a G9 but it had the flicker everyone talks about.
@@mikeroerig2499 I’m currently building a game room in my house so I’ve just been full sending on my orders, just purchased a new PC got a 4090 and decided to go Ryzen 7 7800x3d, im going to run triple G7s for now, but end game I’m going ultra wide on windshield and the double G7s on the side, this is such a fun new hobby/ addiction and I just got into the whole sim race scene, I wasn’t even a huge car guy but when I seen how far sim tech has come there was no way I could live without it lol
yes of course the pixels you video card move are 3x so this is the difference , nvdia have some optimizations for triples but they work only in iracing i think.
Actually thinking of getting the same, I have been doing 3x monitor setups for like 15 years, now I have an Ultrawide monitor with two regular monitors on the side but you cant make all 3 monitors work together in this setup. So while I do enjoy the UW and its great for games that do not support 3x monitor I really miss the imersion of having 3x monitors.
Nice setup!!! I'm thinking of doing the same setup as your, but don't have a lot of space. Are you able to increase the angle on the side monitors if you wanted to?
I ended up going with the 32 inch G7's based on your experience with them. Excellent recommendation! These displays are gorgeous, and the HDR is really nice! I haven't really played with the settings yet, but so far so good. The only issue I've had is finding a FOV calculation that works nicely with the 1000r curvature. How did you work out the FOV on your set? From what I can see in your vids you seem to have them dialed in perfectly. I've read that ACC has adjustments for curvature, but I mainly use iRacing, and I don't think they have that type of support yet. I also have the Asus bezel free kit that I'll be installing tomorrow. I'm thinking that may help with the slight distortion I'm getting around the edges..? Have you experienced this? Thank you for your time!
Thanks for the comment 🙂. I'm not doing anything special all i do is play with the side monitor angle option until it feels right and not stretched. Because they are curved like that your angle option in the game will not match the angle you positioned them at if you calculated position as if they where straight monitors. So don't worry to much about that and just move the angle option until it feels right
great video., 1st time, triple curved installation. what bezel free kit you are getting and from where ? is it from ASUS ? but thats limited to 27 inches Thank you.
Can I ask what the measurement is from the left monitor to the right one now you have set the angles? I'm interested in buying these but the space I have is limited
This looks epic lol. I got a 32in G7 for $500. I think later on I'll add more to make a super duper ultrawide beast setup lol. The curves seem to make the transition from screen to screen more natural.
Yep is the ROG Bezel Free Kit. Works with 32" but you have to get some plexiglass to put in the lens holders and that will hold the lens afterwards in place. The lens itself has the height of a 32" screen
Awesome video, do you still have the monitors? do you regret getting 1000r curved screens? Also what monitor stand are you using? Thanks for the great content, i enjoy your go pro videos too
I don’t have any of the setup anymore. Mainly had to focus on work and sold it. But I’ll get a new setup soon. Dough with VR. I don’t regret getting the screens, they done a fantastic job for content creation, but I do think that when we talk about immersion nothing compares to VR. I was using the TrakRacer 8020 aluminium stand for triples
@@Biroo thanks for the reply dude. I’ve got triple G5’s. The extreme curve really does help with immersion! I love VR, and it’s so much more immersive than screens, but when you want comfort and you want things to just work. Triples are the best of both worlds
Nice ! What's the angle of side monitors and what's the eye distance from the center screen ? I'm using G5 which have same curve and it feels a bit strange and a bit narrow cockpit. I use 60 degree angle at the moment.
Hello, I would like to know if you have any problems with the screen curve? I've heard that it's not possible to perfectly adjust curved screens to have a realistic 1:1 ratio. Is this true? I am about to buy a 32" curved triple screen. Thanks a lot!
Hi! Could you please enlighten me? How is the curvature of the screens? A single monitor or all three mounted at the perfect angle, form a perfect semi circle? Or the curvature is more accentuated in the middle and less at the edges?
Is a Four-Monitor Array doable? I fly open cockpit WW1 aviation sims and I've seen three-monitor setups (like yours) where a center monitor shows the view ahead and a second and third monitors angled back on the sides show the view to either side; blended to merge when you rotate your head to look around with a head tracker like Track IR. I've also seen four-monitor setups with one at top center, but only used to display the desktop; not the sim. QUESTIONS Is it possible to assign a fourth monitor (above the center monitor and angled back) to show an overhead view of the sky in an "open cockpit" aviation simulation? Will the "wrap around" setting for three multiple monitors also see a fourth one (atop center) as "extra real estate" on which the range of the game image can be extended? I'd like to build an array that will do that. Any info?
hello, congratulations for the video and the work done on the 3 monitors, I wanted to ask you, how many inches or cm did these 3 monitors occupy, measuring the external part of the curvature, to understand where you sit to play, I would like to understand the size of these 3 monitors measure in width. Thank you
I'm wondering the same, did you end up getting an answer to your question ? i'm working with limited space so I don't want to buy anything before i'm sure it fits
@@Biroo Thanks! I am not sure which monitors to buy, because I only installed an RTX2080Ti and do not want to upgrade. For me it is more important to play ACC complete maxed out and not to turn graphics to low. What do you think, which triple screen resolution will I mange with my gfx-card in order to max out gfx-settings in games like ACC? Any alternative monitors which will work in a triple screen setup? hm, what do you think about G-Sync option with monitors? Is it a must have?
@@konnirichter7299 that's a good question. 2080ti is not a bad card at all. A while ago I done a benchmark with a friend in 5K VR and I was getting 10-15fps max 20fps more in ACC with the 3090 at same settings. So if you're thinking if 3070 or 3080 could squeeze a lot more than 2080ti then I don't think that's really the case. So your card is as good as it gets without having to spend 1500 on the 3090. About what screens, if you have the budget for them and you want to future proof I'd say get the G7s. There will be a time when DLSS will arrive to ACC which will mean you'll be able to use them in their full glory by upscaling the picture from something like 720p to 1440p and get a 200fps performance. To play at full eye-candy mode I suggest capping the fps to 60 and decreasing the resolution scale slightly, step by step to 95%, 90% etc until the fps are stable to 60 and you still maintain a crisp, not pixelated resolution. If you start seeing pixels, jagged lines you gone to low. On getting other screens, if you do care about budgets maybe get a smaller 27" at full had some AOCs or Asus, MSIs with 144Hz. However if you care about the picture quality I assume you care about not seeing blocky objects so I'd advise for 1440p because you'll have a range of extra resolution to play with and adjust so that is comfortable for you. You could go with some AOCs curved 32" 1440p think they're around 300pounds. About G-SYnc, that's a long story. I notice the difference when is off for sure, there is tearing in the distance in objects moving. However, when I stream I have to turn it off, enable the vSync in ACC and cap the FPS to 80 and that is comfortable, not much tearing. The GPU struggles when G-Sync is on and trying to stream in the same time.
@@Biroo Thanks, thats a lot of information, and it helped me out. As you say, I think I will go with the G7. There is G5, but without GSync. The G7 is also available in 27", but I will go like your setup. What do you think about not to make triple screen and get one G9 for the money? I saw a video and the left mirror in ACC with the G9 seems to be streched - hm, don´t know why this happens with the G9. I have a 34" Acer and play ACC @130% supersampling with my RTX-Card. Resolution is 3440x1440. But as you say, with triple screen I have to got below 100% I think. Not good at all. Which gfx card have you installed? Can your system get the 60fps with maxed out gfx option in ACC? Thanks again
@@konnirichter7299 with the G9 you don't get the same horizontal real estate nor the wrap around immersive setup. I have the 3090 and I get about 60fps in Epic settings but i got my own special "cocktail" of video settings that look really good and get about 80-90fps
Love your setup, I did something insane like this a few month back. i’m surprised your wife was so cool about you just spending thousands on the monitors… hahaha On my sim rig, my centre display is a Samsung G9 Neo 57 inch curved Double 4K 7680x2160 with 2 relatively cheap msi 32 inch 4K 3840x2160 curved monitor on either side pumping out a total of 15360x2160. after all this money, yes, my lap times did improve significantly but is it worth the money, most likely not. Imagine the day when i can run this setup at native resolution at 144hz, no DLSS and graphics in its full fat glory. My son tried to convince me to try GT7 on his PS5 and i just couldn’t get into it , it needs multiple display support but for what it is, it’s a great racing game for the masses. When i got my 4090 card, i thought nothing will push the card, i will be fine for 5 years….. how wrong was I! My GPU has finally been brought to its knees even with AI upscaling. i don’t think i have ever had the need to turn on FPS counter until now. Everything on the track is crystal clear and “almost” 1:1 and “kinda” in proportion on the two side monitors…. just give me a lot of confidence to break late and accelerate out of the apex as i can see everything is clearly Would have been a cheaper option getting 3 used LG C2 OLEDs 42 inch TV but the lack of multiple HDMI2.1 ports on the 4090 is holding the dream setup back.
Your setup looks perfect…What were your measurements: distance to center monitor and angle of the side monitors relative to the center (and how did you measure those [to actual center of screen or to imaginary line from edge to edge, and same for angle])?
If You will do it over again, will You go with flat screens? I'm building a first sim rig. I would do it properly. Im doing research on what is a better curved or flat screen for triple screen setups.
Hi, I've just bought the same setup: 3xg7 + simlab stand. Can you please tell we the angle of the side arms and the vesa mount position on the side arms? Thank you!
Just the video I need. I currenty have one of these monitors mounted to Trak Racer Sim Rig and curious about jumping to triple setup as i already have the same triple mount as you ready to go. Could I please ask what the max width of the rig is with this triple setup? need to ensure it fits into my avail area. A year on whats your thoughts. Still using this, or changed to another monitor option or gone back to VR. Many thanks in advance.
Is this still the best go to for sim racing? 2k is all I need. But I want hdr and 144hz and the best of the rest. Is curve really better than flat after using it 2 years?
Well that alignment problem is a thing with the vesa mount from trakracer. Got the tr160 with a quadrouple stand and it's horrible to line it up proper. I will switch to 32" on black friday and after that those veda mounts will make please for the simlab vesa mounts. They are fully adjustable and are a perfect solution. Nice rig btw. And for the cable thing. Just order long ones. Perfect cable management is so satisfying to watch and gives your setup an overall better look
hi, txs for sharing.. can you please told me how large is this 3 monitors setup with the curve degree that you choose? I don't have a lot of space and I'm not sure 3 x 32 fit in large.. thanks in advance!
I just got the G5s in triples but i have an issue with one that won't come on, i can see it is on amd windows and nvidia show it as connected but nothing so i have to pull the power lead out wait a min or so plug back in then it comes back on. ive set up a return with amazon so hopefully the next one wont have this issue. Also one of the other screens has MBR greyed out. I love the curve and maybe not as bright as the g7s but £780 for 3 was a good price for me
Yeah currys once tried to deliver a completely smashed in the rear washing machine and the guys delivering even tried to make out there was nothing wrong with it after they obviously dropped it. Never ordered from them since. I have the G7, thinking of upgrading to 2 more, awesome vid mate. What GPU you pushing it all with?
First of all, congratulations for your videos and desire to show us your learning in this world. I have your same screens in 27” and I have the same problem with HDR (signal restarts for two seconds) How did you solve it? On the other hand, how did you manage to block the HDR option in Iracing settings (it appears in light gray without being able to disable the option in your video)? Thank you very much for everything and I hope I can see you in the future enjoying simracing.
Hi great vid! Would you say the Rtx 3090 is absolute necessary to get the great (oled) results from the screens or would a 2080ti or 3080 also give great results? Have a good sunday and keep up the good work !
I don't think it matters if you're using a 3090, 3080 or 2080ti for running HDR capable titles using HDR or OLED screens. They're all capable of rendering in HDR mode. I think the relation that matters most for great oled results is how good of a job the game title makes in creating proper hdr output and how capable the screen is in processing that output.
I bought it from a chap here in uk. He's making them and was selling on ebay. ebay.co.uk/usr/bigdawgsimracing That's his profile. Looks like he has none for sale atm but send him a message if he's not busy I'm sure he'll be happy to make you one. I paid 350pounds for it.

Also it will be nice to have review about the Samsung G7 monitor HDR and view angles as I have plan to get triples as well. Thanks and keep these videos coming.
Hey Mahmood, thanks for the praises 🤘. The rig is about 160cm width and 155cm length. Make sure you have a space of roughly 180cm x 180cm. About the HDR and view angles that's actually a very good video idea I'll post something this weekend. I got another vid coming with performance on my rtx3090 in ACC and iRacing on these triple 1440p and trying to reach the 240fps goodness 😂

Awesome setup mate. I'm thinking of the same but 27 inch. Just the extreme curve doesn't let me to make my final decision. Do you notice a distortion with those monitors?
Looking good. Just found your channel fella. Slowly working through your videos. Hopefully you get a mic for yourself. Sound is important aswell as video. Cant believe you don't have more subs. What do you use for sound on your sims. Surround 5.1 7.1 headphones?
Haha, thank you! I recently got a HyperX mic and i already use that in my streams and last video i made I also have a lav mic I'll start using when on the move. So sound should be better from now on. I just use some gaming headphones for when I race and stream. And when I don't feel like wearing headphones I got a 2.1 amazon cheap system. So not cutting edge on the sound side 😜
I'm not a headphone user myself for gaming (5.1 speakers) but from what I've read just good stereo headphones and a soundcard/soundchip which has a good HRTF technology that makes use of the positional audio data it receives from the games' DirectX Audio output. Those 5.1/7.1 headphones don't work as well and you won't get any from high quality headphone manufacturers anyway.

Ok so update! I’ve gone from VR to Triple screens (32”). Lack of depth was an issue to start with, loving that I can see all my lovely fanatec and heusinkveld set up. Can I say that 1 set up is better than the other… No! Each have there pro’s and con’s Going to keep the triples and the VR.

Dude, wtf?! Are we twins? 🤣 Seen your face form the profile in your last video lol. In terms of color reproduction don't think VA beats IPS, however the hdr and quality of the Odyssey makes it tight. But most importantly, there is not much light bleed on the screens. IPS are terrible with light bleed. I the dark and from an angle they just look like a soft box light 🤣. The G7s don't have much of that

If you could go back and get 3x 48" LG CX10 OLED panels, which would you pick? I'm thinking of getting 3 of them tonight. Currently on 3x 27" LG IPS monitors which have been amazing and I honestly have zero complaints but I always wonder how amazing 3 OLEDs would look. I also have a 3090 etc.
That's an interesting question and honestly hard to answer. The LG looks impresive but I'm super happy with my G7s size and and pretty good HDR600 so not sure I'd pay double for the larger screens and OLED
I have an OLED and the picture quality is just stunning especially with HDR. The blacks are just magical. The only thing you would have to be careful of is burn in. They've gotten better over the years but especially because of the HUD in racing games there's always a chance of burn in with excessive gaming
Great video man. Could you do a video in every racing view besides cockpit view. Theres not one tutorial on youtube that I can find that demonstrates the other views on triples. I commonly use cockpit and bonnet so Im wondering if the screens will be better at less of an angle when racing in bonnet view. If you could do a quick video that would be awesome. Thanks

Hmm, that's tricky! Some sims don't allow you to control each individual monitor size. For example ACC expects all screens be the same size given you input size just once. Is not impossible to make it look good on some titles. BUT, you get enough headeachs with triple monitors same make and size. I can't only imagine different sizes. But i understand you already got the G9. Maybe if you have the option to return if they don't work well together?
@@Tabascoblade in some sims that allow you to control each monitor size you'll probably be ok. For those who don't it will probably matter if you assign the width of the side or central screen.

Same here, haha
Good setup real enjoyment for the ride
Thank you Nenad. I appreciate that
Nice setup man!!! Does the triple screen come with the rig ? And where did you bought that rig?
yes of course the pixels you video card move are 3x so this is the difference , nvdia have some optimizations for triples but they work only in iracing i think.
Great video. What monitor stand did you use?
G9 left the chat
🤣 well, G9 has its benefits tbh.
Wow love the screens 😍 Nice content to. Keep post the good work 💪💪😃
Thank you Julian. I appreciate it
I saw your channel on the acc subreddit, I like this videos
Thank you 😊🙏 glad you're getting value out of them
Nice setup!!! I'm thinking of doing the same setup as your, but don't have a lot of space. Are you able to increase the angle on the side monitors if you wanted to?
Hi, whats the width that you need for that setup and which monitor stand are you using?
So don't worry to much about that and just move the angle option until it feels right
@@Biroo Oh ok that makes sense! Thank you brother, I'll adjust it until its right. Awesome monitors! 👊👊🤙

what bezel free kit you are getting and from where ?
is it from ASUS ? but thats limited to 27 inches
Thank you.
loved your setup , truly one of the more unique wans
it will be my dream setup if the middle was a 21:9
Can I ask what the measurement is from the left monitor to the right one now you have set the angles? I'm interested in buying these but the space I have is limited
Why is this the least answered question every time?
This looks epic lol. I got a 32in G7 for $500. I think later on I'll add more to make a super duper ultrawide beast setup lol. The curves seem to make the transition from screen to screen more natural.
Love you videos mate. Quick question, the Bezel free kit you used for these monitors was that the Asus Rog kit? Does that fit the 32" monitor okay?
Triples are the best of both worlds
great vid! which monitor mount did you use for the gt track and would you recommend the gt track. i currenty have the wheel stand 2.0 cheers!
Nice ! What's the angle of side monitors and what's the eye distance from the center screen ? I'm using G5 which have same curve and it feels a bit strange and a bit narrow cockpit. I use 60 degree angle at the moment.
question : how card does 3 screens at that resolution and scale effect Performance/FPS ?
Hello, I would like to know if you have any problems with the screen curve? I've heard that it's not possible to perfectly adjust curved screens to have a realistic 1:1 ratio. Is this true? I am about to buy a 32" curved triple screen. Thanks a lot!
Congratulations!
Hi! Could you please enlighten me? How is the curvature of the screens? A single monitor or all three mounted at the perfect angle, form a perfect semi circle? Or the curvature is more accentuated in the middle and less at the edges?
What angle are total FOV do you end up at with them being that close? Do you still run the same distance and angle in this video?
I'm thinkig of getting the same setup! Would you still recommend this setup? Also what monitor stand are you using/would you recommend that?

@@Biroo
Thanks, thats a lot of information, and it helped me out.
Love your setup, I did something insane like this a few month back.
i’m surprised your wife was so cool about you just spending thousands on the monitors… hahaha
On my sim rig, my centre display is a Samsung G9 Neo 57 inch curved Double 4K 7680x2160 with 2 relatively cheap msi 32 inch 4K 3840x2160 curved monitor on either side pumping out a total of 15360x2160. after all this money, yes, my lap times did improve significantly but is it worth the money, most likely not.
Everything on the track is crystal clear and “almost” 1:1 and “kinda” in proportion on the two side monitors…. just give me a lot of confidence to break late and accelerate out of the apex as i can see everything is clearly
Would have been a cheaper option getting 3 used LG C2 OLEDs 42 inch TV but the lack of multiple HDMI2.1 ports on the 4090 is holding the dream setup back.
Your setup looks perfect…What were your measurements: distance to center monitor and angle of the side monitors relative to the center (and how did you measure those [to actual center of screen or to imaginary line from edge to edge, and same for angle])?
Oops just finished watching and you gave the distance.

I doubt they send you a broken monitor, more likely got damaged while shipping
Probably

hello sir where is the triple monitor stand from!?! just ordered 3 g7s as well.

Awesome 😎👍 is made by TrakRacer
@@Biroo thanks!I hope we can race together when I have it all set up.
@@Biroo sorry last question sir. what's the length on the 4040 intrusion that you used for the seat? will 500mm be long enough? thanks again!
Thanks
If you have triples you do things properly and don’t race while sitting on the bonnet like a newbie
Hello buddy, have them for a while now love them. What dimensions did you put in acc for screens etc I can’t get a tape Measure in place now I got them setup 😂 would be appreciated bud
Obviously I know my eyes to screen will be different to yours
Hey Matthew, screen width is 680mm and my distance atm is 700mm. Checkout the video I just posted, i list the settings there with updated screen angles after mounting the ROG Bezel free kit
@@Biroo brilliant mate thank you! I’m assuming the screen with bezel is 700mm 10mm each side. I should of really done it before setting up my room is so small and a nightmare to even try and tape up haha
@@matthewscarborough4920 yes about 700mm
@@Biroo thank you buddy!! Really I’m loving them. Few minor problems like your self with screens sometimes taking ages to switch to hdr or one screen will cut off and come back on don’t do it often. Also I use a nlrv3 think we have the same setup. P1x/dd2 I also removed a tiny bit of paint on the edges of the dd2 😂
Where had you buy the wall mount ? I wan the sameeeee
Hey what many are you referring too?
@@Biroo I mean like, as we can see at 8:20, ur screens are stick to a black wall mount, it is not simply put on their own "feet" themselves put on a table.
It seems like your screens are stick to the wall, and i want to know where u bought it, cuz i watched on internet, and i dont think it is sell with the monitors.
@@lrnkh2063 that is not wall mounted but standing monitor mount: www.trakracer.co.uk/product/tr8020-black-aluminium-floor-triple-1200mm-monitor-stand-with-vesa-mounts/

Does triple screen setup work properly with curved monitor or it better to use flat ones?
It works perfectly with curved! I love mine and wouldn't give them away for flat
@@Biroo is there an in-game option for curved monitors?
@@ahmedmohmed4346 not really, you use the same settings as straight screens. The image does not get distorted by the curve as you'd think.
i got an Oddysey G9... i was wanting to get two more G7 monitors. one for each side. should I multimonitor if they are not the same resolution or would my G9 display look overstretched?
Hmm, that's tricky! Some sims don't allow you to control each individual monitor size. For example ACC expects all screens be the same size given you input size just once. Is not impossible to make it look good on some titles. BUT, you get enough headeachs with triple monitors same make and size. I can't only imagine different sizes. But i understand you already got the G9. Maybe if you have the option to return if they don't work well together?
@@Biroo if it does work somehow would the middle screen look overstretched?
@@Tabascoblade in some sims that allow you to control each monitor size you'll probably be ok. For those who don't it will probably matter if you assign the width of the side or central screen. If you set central then the G9 might look fine but side screens distorted. If you set width of the sides instead then there's a change the G9 will look distorted. But all this is hypothetical. I've not tried and not done any research on this
@@Biroo if these flexible adjustments are possible, would I find them under screen resolution/display settings? Or would I need to download some sort of addon?
@@Tabascoblade some sims allow you to specify each monitor size in the graphic options in the game, like AMS2. Funny i just seen this post instagram.com/p/COwuHL_N879/?igshid=p3s8974ar4zc
Hi,
how much
width, at the widest point this triple configuration?
Hey Andrea, about 1meter and half, 150cm. This is because if you watch some of my other videos I closed the screens angle a lot but when I set them up in this initial video the width was 180cm. So if you want to set the screens exactly as in this video you'll need about 180cm width and 150cm length. If you close the angle aggressively like i did in the Bezel Free Kit video then your width will be 140cm and length 150cm
