When he started cutting the semicircle with an angle grinder after saying it required absolute precision had me laughing. He did a really good job without having CAD and a CNC. Very nice. I’m going to make something of my own after watching this 💯
We came to see your setup, we left knowing you can race like a champ too lol my mind is blown! Great setup, you've officially convinced me to go with a (3) 32" screen setup over a single 75".
I'm envious of your workshop. That assembly moment you stopped for just a moment, we could see you thinking whether this would be the easiest way to add the monitor. Classic.
Nice setup and racing skills. This will work perfectly with racing games, where you look in a horizontal plane. But the freedom to look all around that VR gives, shines in space games for me.
I thought ok, its going to be another one of those "builds" where people assemble pre-made gear, but I just want to know how you set it up and somehow mount it to the ceiling.... When you started to MILL THINGS I started losing my mind ahahahaha. SUBBED! I need a welder and a mill but Ive been meaning to get them for years. Maybe THIS might finally be the reason to do so, as I think this is something I can build quite easily with your video as my guide. Amazing.

@@T.S.CUSTOM what angle do you set it with Asus bezel-free kit? And is that measured in the corners or from the centre of the screen? (meaning angle of support bar). Thx !
It's little less than 140 deg. You measure the corner because G7 is flat in the corners, no curving there. I am just in the making of the newest video for the bezzel kit and 3D printed custom mounts I made for it so stick around for a lot more information. 😉
@@T.S.CUSTOM Super thx! I'm in the middle of building my rig with triple G7's this week, just waiting on my PC to be delivered on monday. 🤩 For now i positioned them at 130° but from hardware look alone that looks very "boxed in" , the ends of the monitors bend in quite hard. 😆
Yes you can go beyond 130 (recommended by asus) because G7 have a really thin bezzel, and nearing 140 deg you will start to se the black line in the middle.
i couldnt be more impressed with the quality of your work. i know for a fact there is a market for a mounting solution just like that for fellow sim pit owners
great job brother. Only a few in this world can create what they imagine and you are one of them. it is one of the best setup I have seen till now and lots of love.. keep going bro...all the best
I scrolled quite a ways down and didn't see any compliments on the Z5500 control pod so I'm giving the most props for still having that! I finally sold my whole setup last year after 13 years. The Denon receiver and HK speakers/sub I replaced it with do sound better overall but for $220 in 2008, probably one of the best purchases I ever made.
This is absolutely insane! I can't even imagine that as it is right now, but imagine if those g7 monitors were Samsung arcs, would look amazing and feel way more imersive but that would cost a fortune including a pc able to run that.
Awesome job!!! Unfortunately there isn't borderless monitors yet, the left side is almost imperceptible, but the right side cuts and distorts a little. Probably when you are playing you even notice that. And again nice skills to do this amazing stand by yourself. Congrats!
I have triple Samsung G7's as well but mine are mounted on a triple monitor stand from PRO SIMRIG. Unfortunately, the swivel action is part of the G7 base which I can't use. Except for the single post ceiling mount, I hope some manufacturer sees your monitor stand and decides to make them available. If that happens, I want one. Nice job though. Enjoy.

Im sorry that sounded much less expensive in my head lol
Great job man. There's a blur plastic inside LCD televisions, and that is use to blur screen light points. If you use this plastic between the monitors, they will looks like a single one.
You should go into NVIDIA's setting and setup the monitors in there so that you don't have any misalignment within the games. It's super easy to do and would make your setup 1000x better.
This is amazing, I’m contemplating these as a triple set-up. Roughly how wide do these monitors make the rig side to side? Need to make sure my room is big enough!
Excellent engineering and craftsmanship although I think I would have gone with aluminum given the weight of steel and the relative strength, or lack thereof, of the average wood framed ceiling. That being said, I probably wouldn't want to tig weld all that aluminum. Great job
That is an awesome build! I can't imagine gaming with monitors wrapped around like that. It must be so realistic. Did you put blocking into the ceiling or is it attached to a ceiling joist?
