If you have the room for 32’s I would say go for it. Having that little bit more helps your FOV and you don’t want to have to go through it twice. A buddy of mine went 27’s and returned them and bought 32’s because he just wanted a little more. You don’t have to print your on bezel kit adapter you can find them on Etsy for relatively cheap. Street. I ran in lightweight 400 with a Yamaha R3. It was really fun but also a money pit with added danger haha, and a big time commitment. At least with a sim in my basement, I can jump on for a few laps whenever I get some free time.
@@hali_moto yeah I could never get into street bikes the danger element is what turned me away and out in California there are tons of moto accidents. Yeah sim racing has a lot of enjoyment for me since I can’t find the time to go to the track and the amount it cost in tires and fuel for me made me go with a sim. I had my fun on the track in my Porsche but I always had the thought of injury or damage in the back of my mind.
@steezyisgaming Yea, the street is insane I was in one accident because of a driver pulling out in front of me, got away from that pretty lucky though. That's what got me to go to the track. A lot of people find it hard to believe but the track is actually a lot safer. One track school led to another, and then I was building a bike and racing haha. Great video! My question though is how hard is your graphics card working to run all the monitors? I'm looking into triple as well, and I have a 2080 super and I'm concerned if its too much for the graphics card. Thank you!
Thanks for watching. I spoke with my teammate and friend and he was running a 2070 Super with triple 27's without a problem. I guess its not just your GPU but also your CPU and settings. After this video, I quickly switched to a 4070Ti because I didn't want any bottlenecking.
It’s was very track dependent and I had to turn off some things in the graphics settings. Since this video I switched to a 4070ti and bigger power supply.
I have a 3080 and run 3 32" Curved ASUS Tuf 1440p 165hz 1m 1500 radious and I running 203 fps to 100 like a race starts. I run most stuff like sky, trees on low , cars and all track related stuff high, pits on low.
Can I ask the width of the triples please, your angle looks about right and many seem to have the sides closer than I'd like. (Trying to decide between 27's and 32's)

I ended up selling the 3060Ti and upgraded to the 4070Ti shorty after the video. I did a couple of test in extreme conditions like Daytona at night with 59 cars and the lowest I hit was 70fps and the highest was 155fps
Love it, I’m currently going from single to triples myself. Waiting on the last vesa mount to show up. Been a struggle trying to get the monitors to align up lol.
Very nice! Aligning the monitors is the biggest struggle for us all but you got this. I took a different approach to line up the monitors and it seemed to work for me. I got the angle of the arms first by using a protractor. One both sides were at my desired angle of 55 degrees I then adjusted the monitor mounts by pressing the side monitors as tight as I could, and tightened the vesa mount.
I'm sitting here with 3 monitors exactly like yours in boxes, so this video was especially helpful trying to figure out how much space it will take. I'm currently running a RX 6600 XT graphics card with 8gb of VRAM. I will likely need a new card to run 2k but maybe I can run 1080p to get by until I figure-out what to get. I would be interested in what titles you are running and what FPS and VRAM usage you are getting. Thanks!
I’m glad I was able to help you with the specs of the setup there isn’t enough info out there so I thought it could help some people. The only titles I currently run are mainly iRacing and then I sprinkle in AC and ACC. IRacing is the hardest on the GPU and was getting bottlenecked on the 3060ti at 1440p so I made the switch to the 4070ti and upgraded the power supply. Oh nice, very interested to see how that looks. That’s always been my concern with triples.. getting the thinnest bezels possible so that those kits work properly.
I’d rather have a triple monitors because a 65” still wouldn’t give you the amount of width you’d need. Even the 57” ultrawide that is making its rounds still isn’t wide enough to meet the criteria of triple 32’s.

It gets so hot I lose weight from driving I’m sure lol. Instead of 1 monitor going it’s 3 to create more heat and put you in this confined space. I think the computer is also working harder so it’s pumping out a lot of heat. I keep the ceiling fan going and crack open a window when I’m racing.

That sucks to hear. The only thing I can think of is the surge protector you’re using because I can’t imagine 2 monitors adding that much power. I have a surge protector with a backup battery and had to upgrade my breaker a couple years back because I went solar.
@@steezyisgaming so I have a surge protector and all my power cords are plugged into it, however the cord doesn't reach the outlet, so I plugged the surge protector cord into another power strip (was not plugged into another surge protector, but just a power strip that then plugs into the outlet) Could that be my issues?
Honestly that sounds like more of a headache trying to set it up and finding a triple monitor stand sounds impossible. I’ve seen it done on Reddit but personally it isn’t what I wanted to build.
Needing an opinion. I have a 34 inch wide 1800 curved monitor currently and thought about getting the same model but 2 27 inch wide with a 1500 curve. Would that be a good setup for triple monitors?
Ive been running triples for a long time. Starting with 21s then 27s and recently to 34s. They definitely crank out some heat. With the 27s i was running a 5700xt. Hz has nothing to do with youtube allowing it. Its incredbile how often people spread missinformstion in simrqcing regarding this. Hz in monitor do not affect your gpu either. Its just monitor feature stating how often monitor refreshes entire image. So.if you run game with 60 fps on 180 hz monitor it means thst each frame last 3 refreshes. With 90 fps it wpuld be 2... and so on. Issues are happening when hz divided by hz are not giving full number. Like 100 fps on 180 hz. This causes stutter. Thats why vr sync is sometimes used or vrr which changes refresh rate of monitor depending on fps so it always full frame. If your rig max out 100 fps, dont be fooled by PR telling how awesome 240hz monitor will look. It wont give you any difference at all.

Beast of a setup !!! wow, .. very nice job sir! question, cant make up my mind for a couple of weeks now, triple 27 or triple 32. I do have the space for 32, and I can also place my steer wheel close to the monitor for the 27, and budget wise I can afford both, I even tried the cardboard screen example on my rig, still no idea.. and when I think about the bezel free kit, its better to go 27 without the hassle of 3d printing or DYI'ing ... so long story short, what can you advise? thanks for your reaction in advance, keep the vids coming!
This looks like the perfect adapter kit simsportgadget.com/products/asus-bezel-free-kit-32-inch-monitor-adapter-curved-and-flat-monitor-pack-of-4
I also wanted to thank you for watching the video and hope you subscribed I have a lot of cool content coming.
Wish I had the space for trips. My 55" TV will have to do for now until I am able to get a bigger place.
Hey, one other question. You mentioned a protractor you printed-off. What the the angle and where did you find it?
I did 55 degrees but most people do 65 if their monitor stand allows it. I think my stand max out at 60. I also didn’t want to make it difficult to get in and out of the rig. You can download it here ece.k-state.edu/hkn/files/protractor.pdf

Nice setup man! I just started going down the sim rabbit hole as I gave up the motorcycle racing hobby when I had a kid. I've experimented with a few options and, like yourself settled on triple 32's. Still need to get it dialed in but it's pretty amazing. Cheers!
Nice! Welcome to the endless money pit but get to enjoy it. Did you race street bikes or dirt bikes?
Was a great time but that chapter is over and now its time for the sim rig.
Thanks bro your good at explaining this , I bought the g5 1000r they look amazing 👊

Cool video dude. Thinking of going triples from my 49" crg9. What kind of frames are you getting with these triples?
@@steezyisgaming awesome I’ll follow you on those ideas. Are you going with the bezel free kit in the future?
@@StevenPlays.Funny you ask that question I just went with the Bezel free kit and upgraded my GPU last week.
I'm sitting here with 3 monitors exactly like yours in boxes, so this video was especially helpful trying to figure out how much space it will take. The angle of your side displays is quite wide. I might have to try something like that as well. I'm running 32" triples as well and I'm still learning. It has been a bit of a challenge to get a realistic fov in games so I'm guessing my angles might be a bit wrong.

nice setup! Interesting point about the heat. Often I hear that VR racing generates the heat but rarely keep hearing that argument for the triples. One way or the other, I think I don't see myself racing without the fans

Nice content! I wish youtube make a triple monitor format support one day for simracing content (why not?) and also make 120hz for all videos at least. It's 2024 already. WTF modern technologies stucked in the ass of progress. 😁
