  • China has the biggest video game player base and the biggest game market now. But has long been criticized for cheating in games and use of piratic games. What is going on exactly? Here’s my little perspective😛
    And I’m still learning this language, so if I made any mistake please correct me I really appreciate your help~
    Also if you have any idea about this topic, please leave a peaceful comment telling me how you think about it. Thanks a lot
    And this channel is not a game channel. I just talk about random topics that I’m interested in. I’m still finding themes for this channel, anything that can help me improve my English 🤣🤣🤣

    Haha, I used to play pirated games when I was a kid. Now, with some income, I usually buy games on steam.

    as you said china is a huge gaming market, although there is some cheaters everywhere, as you're outnumber us, chinese cheaters are just more visible from the outside

      @@FEI_fiii it's easy to pass out,
      when i was young rumor saying that about russian and german players, that doesn't affect the fact that we always played with them
      you care only when facing a cheater it's not everyday

    As a half Chinese growing up in Vietnam, I and even my family have very little understanding of copyright media, In Vietnam we used to have a lot store that sell pirated CD at very affortable price, not to mention even if we want to pay the very high price of games, its very hard to optain legit copy of game. But ever since Steam was a thing, legit copy of games are way easier to optain the the price isn't too bad due to raising living standard, steam game price are adjusted so that more people in my country can afford it and the very frequent steam sales.

    • @FEI_fiii
      @FEI_fiii  4 дня назад

      yes, the CD part was the same here, not only games, but music and movies, so it was a hard time for all these industries. steam is good platform, I only need a better PC now, instead a lot of other game platforms😆😆

      it's hard to list top 10, Super mario was my first game in life, and I used play overwatch, Minecraft and Apex a lot, recently I'm playing Elden Ring, I don't have much time on games anymore, but every time there's a good game coming out, I buy it no matter play or not. like Sekiro, Red dead redemption, the wicher, Zelda, and etc. of course not only big games,but small games like To the moon, little nightmares, the silent Age..So whenever it's a good game, I want to play or support it.

    When you are on servers that are only supposed to have American players on them and a profile with China for it's location and Chinese characters for a username appears, you remember it. Especially when the player starts behaving strangely in a match causing you to observe them and find them to be cheating. It's obviously not indicative of all Chinese gamers but when the only ones you come across are VPN trespassers and cheat software users, it fuels that perspective.

    • @FEI_fiii
      @FEI_fiii  2 дня назад

      Oh ,yes.the Chinese characters are so easy to recognize. I have met a lot as well 🥲🥲that’s a pity. And there’s another situation is the streamers who are the top players of the game but get paid to boost the lower ranked people. It’s distorting lower ranked players as well 🥹🥹🥹

    I love Wuthering Waves, it's an amazing Chinese game! Also I cannot wait for Black Myth: Wukong, it looks amazing! I really hope we get more quality games from China, since in the west the quality of games declined lately due to companies like Sweet Baby Inc which bankrupts most games that collaborate with them. They have a record of failures and flops lately.

    I don't think the cheating reputations only applies to Chinese gamers, I've seen way worse with Russian bots in especially biggest FPS games like Call of Duty, not to mention the piracy scenes in Eastern Europe are really being both globalized and decentralized too, especially in Russia's gaming scenes
    I personally think that Chinese advancement in online, mobile and especially gacha gaming scenes have put very iron-fist policies by developers towards cheaters, meanwhile Eastern European and especially Russian gaming scenes are usually going to both East Asian and Western multiplayer ecosystems that it's certainly mugging and mucking those sectors (probably explained why many Westerners have bad images of Russians in general that still carried after Red Scare, though now it's different form, though Russia isn't exactly an economic powerhouse compared to China, other East Asian and general Asian gaming environments (especially with India attempting to have their own massive population in mobile gaming sections like PUBG, though India have their own notorious reputation but more of the IT telecommunication, yet also have positive recipient in DIY and general guides of software sectors)

    • @FEI_fiii
      @FEI_fiii  2 дня назад

      yes, cheaters are everywhere, but China has the largest player base and they use Chinese characters as their names, that's why it's so significant.

    its sad, how this stereotype is affecting gamers like you, who got nothing to do with cheating . i remember when the finals launched , gamers were requesting chinese players to have seperate servers due to high frequency of cheaters. being honest, i did encounter some cheaters myself in asia lobby.
    chinese gaming community is huge accross the globe , so they blame where the majority of the player base are coming from.

    • @FEI_fiii
      @FEI_fiii  2 дня назад

      yeah, there's nothing much I can do about this, and the more annoying thing is some high-ranked streamers get paid to boost those who are lower-ranked people 🙂🙂

    China has yet to prove a good successful single player games.
    Black Myth Wukong is the biggest candidate so far yes, the game looks promising hopefully not too repetitive and a good attractive story 👍👍
    Due to the censorship you people have to endure, you will probably never play the real gory and bloody and most intensive games that the west likes to produce.
    Regarding the cheating in China, this problem has been brought to the western gamers which causes more problems by calling the majority of Chinese cheaters.
    Because it is true, it doesn´t matter how big the gaming industry is in China, cheating is no excuse to ruin it for others.
    And it creates a bad reputation for Chinese gamers, especially the dumb snobs shouting through their headset ´´China Numba one!!´´
    I predict in a few more years that more Chinese gamers are starting to grasp the English language a bit more and start effectively communicating to other foreign players how they can help to prevent cheating and actually playing with other people with a smile on their face and actually make real foreign friends. 👍👍

    • @FEI_fiii
      @FEI_fiii  2 дня назад

      yes, I hope the Blackmyth Wukong can keep the quality, don't let us down and we can play all the games, but only in a very private way if it's too violent or bloody😂😂😂 streams are not allowed here for some violent games. about cheating ,there's not much I can do, only make sure I'm not one of them 😅
