I've been a graphic designer / 2D / 3D artist like 5 years ago so I get your approach, but when I had a rare opportunity to work with some of the first modern AIs I realized a few things and that is that everything is gonna improve (likely exponentially) and that it is truly learning concepts like a human instead of just remembering patterns and patching them together to create an image.. because if that would be true, then you wouldn't be able to create something like a pink elephant sitting on a panda (simply because there isn't any similar image in the dataset) and it is able to create this with knowing what is a pink color and knowing the concept of positioning and concept of sitting, etc.. it literally creates it's own mind with it's own inner universe to produce these images and so each can be very unique and creative. This is also why it's almost impossible to get 1:1 exact copy of a famous work, like Mona Lisa, even if it was in the dataset. If it was just a statistical approximation, then it would never give you a pink elephant, because most pictures on the internet have only normal elephants and the dataset would be very inclined to give you a normal looking one. So yeah, AIs are actually human-like mini brains, just virtual.. that's why we call it AI after all and I wonder when people will realize this, because it was shocking to me to realize this. And to be precise, I am not saying AI algorithms work exactly as human brains.. no they still work differently (transformers, RNNs, diffusions..), but the main principle behind most of them is that it is a neural network that mimics our brain functioning in the end. Anyway, after realizing this truth I knew what to do.. I had to stop with being an artist and instead went for game dev and AI app development. Because this is gonna be here faster than you think. For example - OpenAI has already a model that solved all the problems with artworks you mentioned, like not being able to retain a certain style or character under different environments.. yeah that's all fixed and they are gonna release it by the end of this year I think. And I think today LumaAI CEO said they are gonna make real-time AI video generation possible within a year.. so just these 2 things are likely gonna make all 2D artists obsolete and soon all video makers as well and then just add keyboard inputs/outputs and you got video game engine simulated by AI in real-time.. crazy I know. I am not happy about this, only about the thought that it should bring overall world prosperity and AGI and UBI (universal basic income), so that's all positive in the end, but in the short term.. a lot of people will be out of work and it's gonna be pretty painful. So my only advice is to realize this is inevitable and think about alternative ways how to survive and make money when this comes. Being a RUclipsr for example isn't that bad, even though by my logic there will be awesome AI RUclipsrs sooner than we think, but I think most people will still prefer to watch other people as long as they can tell they are real or not (which will likely require RUclipsrs to identify or something).. but that's still like 2-5 years I think.

Nobody who can intelligently think likes the woke SweetBaby stuff.. but this ideology has been spread everywhere by Twitter spam, etc.. for years, likely because some rich people who own almost all US media have a transgender kid.. it got to the point, where some dumb Americans think there is nothing wrong with being hateful and attacking others for not liking their "inclusive exclusivity" and are now discriminating against other people who are not in their camp, so basically they became racists and sexists as they for example like to hate "white straight male" just for existing and there are companies or universities that simply won't accept you because you are white or Chinese or heterosexual, it's just ridiculous. Now observing the US as European is like seeing a dead horse still kicking, it's pretty sad what happened there, but I think people have had enough even in the US, as people are slowly becoming more sane again. Btw, my theory of why this movement spread so quickly is because there are studies indicating it is a mass social media-induced illness - one of the first kinds that we see, well actually we have studies about Tourette-like behavior being spread in this way as well, instead now social media tells young kids that being gay is cool and therefore the percentages in the US of people identifying as gay have risen incredibly just in couple of years, meanwhile a lot of them just suffer from body dysmorphia, that's why there is so many post-op trans who want to return back to previous gender later in their life. I just wish they stop with their hatred against other people and stop putting their ideology into every single product, service, movie, food, etc.. Anyway, I am looking forward to Wukong, because it looks really great.. there's not many unreal engine 5 games on the market and it truly seem like something I would love to try, even though I don't enjoy this genre of games (souls-like), I prefer any other genre, but it does look really interesting and maybe there'll be a story as well, so that's always cool!

There is no such thing as bad accent! In Toronto Canada, we have about 30 different English accents depending on what age, culture or geography you from. People from the hood have different scent from people from Newfoundland from the people from Montreal, from the people from Hong Kong, from the people from Houston, from the people from Scotland, etc ... Every accent is legitimate! English is spoken across the world. It is part of your personality! So embrace it! (Same with Chinese language, i think every accent is great .. Beijing accent vs Canadian accent, vs Malaysian accent etc ...)

You see, the fundamental problem is that most people in the west aren't familiar with China that exists today, they have been learning about China from text books like 20 years ago and these text books were 10 years old about informations 10 years older lol, so essentially how China looked around 1980, when they had no skyscrapers and almost no modern technology. And because most people in the US and even Europe don't study other countries closely and focus rather on themselves, it will give them very different image. Actually I myself found out pretty recently that China has skyscrapers and actually most of them in the world and are super futuristic at almost every technological branch.. can you imagine the shock I felt? lol.. and I am browsing the internet every day for like 12 hours, caring about technology, games, modern stuff.. for the last like 20 years.. and still this info that actually China is super advanced somehow completely missed me until like 2020. My imagination was that China still uses horse carriage, primitive factories and all house roofs look like from the ancient chinese dramas and everybody is just training kung-fu. Isn't that funny? 🤣 And the propaganda from the west about China doesn't help.. it's easy to believe everything they say. I think it's made purposefully for delaying the influence of the China on the world, because they are scared once the regular citizens of the US find out about the real China, they could all try to move out of their country or began protests.

you are doing very well for a self taught english speaker. my Chinese nephew and niece at 5 years old speak good english because their mum is very at english and go to pre school that concentrates on langue which is helpful when i go to see them as i do not speak Cantonese like my in laws do

Hello. I am Canadian, and just started learning Mandarin. The tones are very hard for me, English has no tones. It's like singing more than just speaking. And two letter words have 4 different meanings depending on tone. Oh my land lady is Chinese so I have Chinese room mates I can practice with. Just learning from books and videos.

Keep speaking freely. As a born and raised American, I'm ashamed that we even let this woke, racist ideology even develop. Luckily, however, the majority of Americans do not think like this, contrary to what the woke mob will have you think. The only way to combat this is to not give in to their bullshit, so keep on speaking!

My Chinese friend who moved to Finland less than a year ago told me that Western gamers are not going to buy or like it because it is about Chinese mythology and China in general, and most Western people hate China (according to him). When I showed him that the game is the most wishlisted game in entire Steam his face was somewhere between disbelief and joy. I tried asking him where he got he idea that people from other countries hate China. The subject was changed quickly.. Luckily this type of stuff doesn't really bother me so we are still good friends! It still would be interesting to know where he got the idea from, Chinese people are very much liked here in Finland. In fact I'd say they are the most welcomed minority out of all, so his opinion was weird to me.
