1984. What an interesting thing to wear when discussing surveillance.
😉
Thanks for the information. Anything else?
George Orwell wrote a book about a propaganda/surveillance government. The book is called 1984
A book now removed from Amazon. Even more interesting!
hey guys, this is an HDR video, but it seems the quality is getting bad on youtube.I'm learning how to fix it ....
You are doing great - keep up the good work
A better question is do you feel repressed? The censorship of posts, news, history, media, other viewpoints, etc
Of course you can’t post anything you like, I believe it’s the same in your country too,you have your sensitive things we have ours, just different in specific contexts, it’s not a burden for me. I will follow the rules no matter where I am
@@FEI_fiii Yeah, with AI growing this is going to matter a lot more. The west overly reports on whether or not the citizens benefit or not and assumes everyone is repressed
@@FEI_fiii here in the West there is very little we cannot say online. In China, you're not even allowed to access the internet properly. It's interesting that you are using RUclips, since we know it's banned in China. So you must be using a VPN or some other method to bypass the Great Firewall.
@@FEI_fiii classic cheap useless talking point. thanks to elon, we still have freedom of speech. we have sensitive political correctness invented by leftists but that does not mean we cannot post those stuff
Ai Weiwei sends his regards.
I would love to see a video where you show us your collection of toys, I see some in the background. Your english sound good to me, but I'm from sweden so your english is probably similar to mine.
If I travel to china, would it be enough to just speak english or do I need to learn some mandarin
Maybe I’ll do a room tour video later, but my home is like a junk yard 🤣🤣gonna clean it first.. and I can’t give you any advice about traveling to China, I don’t know the situation either 🤣🤣 but according to the foreigners’ China travel videos, I think it’s ok only use English, at least you can use translate apps. There are English signs everywhere. And it’s a cashless society, you need prepare for this maybe 🤣, I saw it’s a big trouble for many tourists
I think another issue people may have is regarding privacy and who ultimately has the decision making power, like in your story about the guy that had the car scratched, you were both able to watch and verify the truth with the help of cameras. I imagine that living under a dictatorship it is not crazy to think that the truth may be played with by the powers that be, like the person who thought you scratched the car, without being impartial or having the people holding the rules accountable it is difficult to have faith in the system.
I am not that familiar with the Chinese legal system but if the minister of defense can just be made to disappear by the government, why can't the same happen to a random person in the street?
ppl should go in for seeing themselves, i do, landing of shanghai from france, i passed the border more easily than any english countrys wich park me in line, order by origins after completing a fucking long quiz.
I spend times in this city from 5:00 am to dark, in a subway so more full than western's but without a single personn pushing me or crushing others feets, we are barbarian with our neighbors in comparison but so full of ourselves.
i will go back
Xièxiè for your welcome in this time
Welcome back again .😁 I think it’s much easier , it’s visa free for many countries.i think France is one of them 😋
Hola. Saludos desde México.
Hi Mexico 😆😆
No, I do not - I feel it's my guardian angel keeping me safe. The cameras are GREAT
True story recently happened to my brother's shop in China. One day a none uniform police installing a CCTV unit near his shop and asked my brother for his wifi password. Of course he asked what is it for and the police replied this is for state government CCTV purpose. My borther asked the police who is going to pay for the internet data. The police laughingly said it will by my brother to foot the bill.
"And why should i pay for it?!" He replied.
And it was at this point the police officer got a little angey and snapped back. "I only need to speak to your boss. Who is in charge here!?"
I do not know the outcome of that incident. But this little event just shows how the cctv system works in mainland china.
You brother need call the uniformed police. Gover’s cctv use private wifi? It must be a joke or scammer 😅
@@FEI_fiii yea that sounds like a scammer
What media organization are you working for ? This channel ia a good attempt to be authentic but authenticity is something very hard to manufacture.
I don't work for any media organization, it's ok for people to think I was paid to do this, but if someone really wants to pay, I'm happy to accept😂😂
Come on Dawei it’s time to move on.Leave her alone already
@@ShannonDerie thanks for the advice ruclips.net/video/9LWYKIsbcuk/видео.htmlfeature=shared
@@FEI_fiii That is funny, I'll buy you a coffee if we ever meet :)
I think there's a lot of things wrong with China when it comes politics, but video surveillance is not one of them, in my opinion. With the rise of immigration and crime rates in my country, I think I would feel a lot safer if video surveillance was a thing. If someone is not planning on breaking any laws, why does it matter if the government is tracking them? Maybe I'm being naive, but I see more pros than cons when it comes to this.
except if hackers use that surveillance to plot stuff ...
The issue is that they track a citizen's every movement via facial recognition.
In combination with the social credit system they have almost complete control of the population.
There’s no such thing called “social credit system “ here 😂😂but if you believe there is, then there is 🥹🥹
Imagine believing there is a social credit system LOLOLOLOL
@@FEI_fiii the funny thing is many americans who believe in the social credit system myth are living under a system where their lives are controlled by their Credit Scores in the usa lol
@@FEI_fiii there is a social credit system in one of the Black Mirror episodes 😂😂
