Actually, I cannot tell how much video editing and retakes you did. But if you can just ramble in English before a camera like that, then you are doing very well. Truly, your accent is heavy, and some expressions are off, but this is mainly the result as you have said of not getting enough practice with native speakers. Then, why I am praising your three years? Because to speak any language, one must think in that language, not translate, and you seem to be thinking in English just fine (and this very hard for most learners of another language). Further, you will never improve by shying away from just speaking before others. Certainly, to begin with English RUclips, you are fearless.
Finally, it hard not to notice the the West (the rich and powerful, but they have influenced the poor and weak) are working on creating as much hostility as they can against, the non-West. It is far better that you attempt to share your thoughts with those in the West, than let them turn you into the "yellow peril".

@@FEI_fiii I will write another time as you know it is after midnight BeiJing or TaiBei time.
But I will give you one tip as you do this fairly consistently (American English). You are fully pronouncing the last syllable (overly) like on verbs. For example "learned" ... you are saying "learn-ed" (as if "ed-ucation"). That is just a fairly common part of your heavy accent. The "ed" at the end of verbs should sound in American English like phoneme "da-d" (the second "d"). Correct that and it will make a big difference.

    • @mahakleung6992

@@FEI_fiii Chinese in terms of linguistics would actually be 5 languages, but the fact China is a single nation. For example, Cantonese and Mandarin are more different than Spanish and Italian. Well, the standardization of the character set by the first emperor was a very big step for the future of China. It's funny sometimes listening to Mandarin speakers who only switch pronunciation, but not vocabulary trying to speak Cantonese. Like simply pronouncing 東西 differently instead as "dong sai" instead of saying "ye". Word order is different too; Mandarin: 我先走; Cantonese: 我走先. My languages are: English (maternal), Haitian Creole (maternal, 海地話), French, Puerto Rican Spanish, German (just school), Mandarin, and Cantonese. Cognitive development: Until age 3, children will pick up languages without any training. Myself, I never fully lost that ability. I just need to be in a native environment. People ask me, "Who taught you?". 我回答, "你們都是我的老師." and that is the truth.
Since it is so easy to get AI to translate for you, the value of learning another language is to see the world through different eyes. For example, in English; just one word, "cousin". But say "cousin" in Chinese: I know gender, age relative to the other, ordinal position in family, maternal/paternal side, etc... So, what does this tell us about the Chinese? Chinese take family structure and age far more important than Westerners. So, don't learn English just to translate ... learn to understand how English speakers see the world.
Another example: When I arrived in Taiwan in the '70s, people ask 你吃過飯沒? This makes absolutely no sense until you understand that China has known famine many times and to have a full stomach is a happy day.

You see, the fundamental problem is that most people in the west aren't familiar with China that exists today, they have been learning about China from text books like 20 years ago and these text books were 10 years old about informations 10 years older lol, so essentially how China looked around 1980, when they had no skyscrapers and almost no modern technology. And because most people in the US and even Europe don't study other countries closely and focus rather on themselves, it will give them very different image.
Actually I myself found out pretty recently that China has skyscrapers and actually most of them in the world and are super futuristic at almost every technological branch.. can you imagine the shock I felt? lol.. and I am browsing the internet every day for like 12 hours, caring about technology, games, modern stuff.. for the last like 20 years.. and still this info that actually China is super advanced somehow completely missed me until like 2020. My imagination was that China still uses horse carriage, primitive factories and all house roofs look like from the ancient chinese dramas and everybody is just training kung-fu. Isn't that funny? 🤣
And the propaganda from the west about China doesn't help.. it's easy to believe everything they say. I think it's made purposefully for delaying the influence of the China on the world, because they are scared once the regular citizens of the US find out about the real China, they could all try to move out of their country or began protests.

    • @FEI_fiii

You took down your BMW video after just 2 hours? I am not into such a games, but you have to decide what your channel will be. Is it to learn English? Is it to grow a revenue stream. As I told you, Chinese video games are about to explode in the West (until the calls for government bans appears; since they will say China is stealing data; it is fine when Microsoft and Google do this). But you are in a unique position to scout Chinese games for Western players, and share the cultural insights of Chinese myth and legends for Western players. You don't need to play well, but be interesting and informative. You could build a revenue stream on that as long as you realize that an executive order can be signed in Washington, DC which will cut you out of the market like HuaWei.
Also, you are 好可愛 and most of the Wests player base are male for such games. (oh, don't worry about me; I am old enough to be your grandfather) This will get them to initially watch you, but only to start; you must have engaging content. You will need about 500K subs to make enough to support yourself in China on Adsense; you can sell merch; or try to get sponsors.
    Good luck!
PS: If you do another, play through ... record and then voice over describing game and the myth behind BMW. Use your cultural understanding and make the characters more meaningful and real for Westerners. There are many in the West who like role player and historic games. Examples: Paradox Crusader Kings and Creative Assembly Total War series.
PS: Again be wise. Adsense revenue was cut in Russia; and now RUclips completely banned. Sanctions on China will increase, and not decrease. The choice is yours. As the Cantonese say, "lum chin jaw"; think it over carefully.

Thank you ~~ yes. gonna editing it for more information like the story and background. Will reupdate it later. And I already knew every thing you mentioned, and even more. i’m not doing this for adsense, my salary is good enough for every thing I like. but what make me down is yes, I will be cut or canceled anytime. But another truth is I will die soon or later, in this point of my life, this is something I want to do,that’s why I’m here. So just do every thing for now, No one would know what or when something will happen in the future 🥹🥹
But it’s also true I don't have any idea for this channel too, basiclly only talk anything so I can practice my speaking skill, this game is just a sudden chance for me, didn’t expect that before 😂😂but i’m pretty sure this is not at least not only a game channel 🥹

@@FEI_fiii If your salary is sufficient, and you seem mature enough to see what is happening in the world, then be like a Taoist and live in the instantaneous present (enjoy the moment). Enjoy the channel and your personal growth that comes from growing the channel. Social media is very big in China, and the skills you learn for RUclips can be reapplied. So, even canceled, you are not wasting your time. (It will look good on a resume. China is building markets around the globe. Showing that you are able to sell yourself to foreigners is an important skill.)
As for the channel's content. Diversification is very good whether we are talking about being an investor or selling products. If HuaWei had only sold phones, the ban by the USA/EU might have put them out of business. But they have many lines of business, and many markets ... diversification. Many RUclipsrs had a premier channel based on a single Steam Top 100 game. The sequel or a competitor comes out, and the audience leaves. So, you want to be diversified.
If you want to know what content interests your English audience, there are quite a few 外國人 or as the Cantonese say 西人 doing RUclips from China, look at their channels. Your advantage here is that your views will immediately be authentic. Also, your age helps too as you are cross communicating with GenZ and Millennials. This is the demographic in the West which is least likely to trust their government or local media with regards to what the true reality of China is.
Another thing you can do is solicit user questions, and have an answer session once per month.
