I know how hard it is filming in public. I've tried. It feels weird being the only one holding a camera. It is always interesting to see the stuff China has. Everything there seems so incredible compared to what we have here in the United States.
This makes me miss guangzhou! I went there for the first time with my girlfriend since her family lives there. The food was so good and quite cheap 🤤 comic city was probably the busiest place i went to lol but so much fun to explore, didn’t get to see the tower at night up close though sad 😢
That was a good very first outside/walking video. You are very cute and sweet and it's interesting to share these experiences with you. I agree with another commenter. When you feel more comfortable talking to other people, ask some Chinese people a few questions and then translate the answers. You could ask them about their favorite games or anime to start, since it's something you are also interested in. I think you'll find that many other people are introverted, especially in the gaming and anime communities. I think it's especially true of younger people who grew up when technology became omnipresent as it reduced the necessity of in-person interactions. You have to slowly force yourself out of your comfort zone and I think you are doing an excellent job of this, but it's something you'll need to keep working at it. Finally, your English is good enough that the subtitles aren't needed. I can understand you at essentially 100% without looking at them. It probably helps that I have known quite a few people who spoke Mandarin as a first language, but that's a compliment on your skill at learning the language so quickly. I think your choice to learn conversational English, rather than highly technical English was a good one. You use "filler" words such as, "um" exactly like any other 20-something American would. I would have believed that you had attended high school or college overseas if you had told me. It's amazing how quickly you've developed this skill.

And I never studied overseas. I didn't even go to high school. I tought myself for the university entrance examination，I’m good at self-study, I also had once IELTS English test. If I have money or opportunity, I would like to study overseas, but no 😢 so I’m really happy that people tell me they can understand my speaking🥹
As a 3D Artist, i learnt that one of the best way to improve is to observe real life and the environment. The Real world is the best reference to use to improve art haha Nice vlog! haha im planning on visiting GuangZhou next year!

@@FEI_fiii I was in guangzhou when covid broke out. after it finished, there were still cases happening, and CCTV was sayin that there were no more cases in China, that it was all foreigners bringing it to China. So on the street, when walking around, people would quick put the mask when near foreigners. Xenophobia grew a lot. Before covid, we foreigners were treated like kings in China. I didn't felt safe anymore. And I missed my family since I spent 12 years in China.
