The Drag-Verse is ever expanding, and one day, Jujubee will become Andromeda’s Next Drag Superstar
😂 sounds like the actual timeline!

Been on the show 686789 times and still hasn’t won😭
so proud of Farrah Moan for mastering her ability to time travel and going back to 2010 to compete in season 2. truly one of the queens of all time
0:56 😭😭
I was watching the video and was like "something looks off" and then I noticed lol
IS IT NOT FARRAH MOAN BECAUSE I REALLY THOUGHT IT WAS HER??
Dead lmao
@@imlocksmyth who is she? 🥴

just Jimbo… twice #2Spirit
That was fighting for gay rights
Considering how many Drag Race alumni have hosted their own spin-offs, it still annoys me that they didn't pick Courtney Act for Down Under.
she doesn't have a good relationship with rupaul nor the producers
If not Courtney - in the very least, I wish they had held Down Under off until they found an Australian/Kiwi queen who could host/a host outside of Ru. Unlike UK where Michelle & Ru seem to have some idea of the nuance of British culture, it can be frustrating watching Down Under, where some instances (jokes, runway gags etc.) of Aussie/Kiwi culture seem to fly over their heads. As the seasons go on, it feels less and less a representation of actual Australian/Kiwi comedy and drag than it does a U.S-version-with-Australian/NZ-queens.
I've heard rumors there will be 4 new international seasons released in 2025: drag race Singapore, South Korea, India and Japan. I'm really excited to see what Japan has to offer and what the drag is like over there
I really hope South Korea is hosted by Kim Chi and that there’s kpop songs for lip syncs. Maybe we’ll get Gia Gunn as a judge for Japan? That would be amazing
i would absolutely binge drag race Singapore and India
@@absolutelysearchingmyrealityOPERA TANG PLEASE AND BLAQUE HOUSE TOO AND HOUSE OF JOAQUIM
Not trying to be a party pooper here, but: wow announced Japanese, Indian, Singaporean and Korean content to be produced, but not necessarily drag race franchises. Some of these countries are still very queerphobic… but I definitely want to believe ! I especially can’t wait for drag race india
@@paulsr6946 don’t worry about being a “party pooper”. It’s better to be informed than just be like “omg new franchise”
I used to volunteer at a queer community center, where Honey Mahogany used to work. We put on a drag show for the kids and everyone was asking her questions about rupaul. Me, having never seen or heard of drag race, went off to watch season 5. Since then I caught up with every season, and the first one I saw live was 9 and my attention was grabbed.
wow! i did a thing with honey in the bay area, and i completely forgot she was a ru girl because of how sweet she is
Am i going crazy or did I just see Farrah Moan in that cast photo for season 2?
LOL yeah it looks like someone maybe photoshopped her in 😂 0:59
thats actually hilarious
Season 8 was my first season! I loved having one season a year and the excitement building up to it but the spinoffs are so welcome
Mine as well!
I love that Farrah Moan is in the season 2 promo pic even though she would have been high school.

As a Colombian, I hope we get Drag Race Colombia one day! Here they filmed the German, Mexican and Brazilian franchises, as well as the heavily rumoured Global All-Stars. Hope Paramount take this into account, it'll be epic. Also, Colombian Drag has been flourishing the past few years and this will be the point where it takes off. Mark my words.
I'm rooting for that too! I was pretty sure that they've chosen Colombia to shoot all these franchises because that's going to be a Colombian DR, and felt really disappointed when I've learned that wasn't going to happen! I do want to get to know my fellow Colombian hermanas! I wish there were DR Equador, Argentina, Peru, Bolívia, etc, so that by 2025 we could have a DR America Latina!
Rooting for that too. Also argentinian and south korean seasons would be a gag, hopefully in a not so long future
Yes!! since it was revealed that most of the drag race spin offs are filmed in Colombia it makes me wonder how would a Drag Race Colombia be like
@@fabiocarvalho2105 I really wish for a latin DR
I’m someone who loved season two of celebrity drag race. It was like… masked singer but better?? I think the appeal is similar to that that fans liked guessing who was competing and it was a nice way to make drag more accessible to new fans who may not necessarily be queer.
The singing on masked singer was generally very meh and the shorts were all cut short so the impact was very subdued. Compared to the original Korean version, very poor quality in terms of vocals, song arrangement, and the greatly reduced duration of songs. I cringed so hard especially because the judges were also bad at doing evaluations
Typo - the songs were all cut short
I loved it too! seeing AJ mcclean perform in drag was amazing and it's just cool to see people that are famous for different skills all do their best as drag performers (also im still team chick li fay)
I liked the season too and enjoyed the format as well. I only wished they would increase the amount each celebrity earned as they went further in the competition.
So it IS Straight Celebrity Drag Race
Brasil was my first foray into international seasons. I speak very basic Portuguese and they added to my vocabulary! Grag Queen was an excellent host.
I'd put season 4 in the same group as 5, 6, 7 and 8. I think 4 was the season that really opened DR to a wider audience. Sharon Needles was hugely popular because she was the first "freak" queen that so many people connected with. Along with sad hatred for PhiPhi and massive personalities such as Willam, Latrice & Jiggly who are still big stars. It deserves group 2 :)
I am old old OLD girl. Started with Season 1. But I was watching live since Season 4. I only keep up with US, US AS and Canada atm.
Anybody remember the Las Vegas show that was canceled during the pandemic? I’d like for them to bring a season of that back.
THIS
it's coming back this year!
I looooove whenever I see someone use my season 1 cast photo!!! It's like it is almost the official one, because they never made one themselves.
If you noticed, the golden years were those where they focused 100% in the main series, instead (Annually) All Stars series, International franchises, International competitions, no-sense spin-offs, talent series, etc. I want to make a shout-out to WOW because they expanded so freaking much to give us entertainment BUT, and there's a big but, it's clear they're giving us a lot of stuff sometimes mediocre, instead giving us few shows with GREAT quality.
as long as they make money, they don't care. And I think WOW is making A LOT of money nowadays
I think if Canada S4 has shown us. Casting is more important than production meddling to create good storyline.
Also i hope Plane Jane goes far in US16 and show that Villains can go far. Sick of people playing it safe.
Hmm I get where you’re coming from, and I definitely agree that many seasons go by, and I’m not the biggest fan of many of them. However , representation is so important, and we get that with all of the international seasons. Queer people around the world being part of a community.. I just think it’s so beautiful. And you can always pick and choose the series you wanna watch
Kit Connor killed me

I didn’t even know Drag Race Germany existed. Also there are just so many seasons it really is hard to keep up. 2022 I got major drag fatigue and only watched English speaking seasons really
The end of 2021, beginning of 2022 was the time I experienced Drag Race fatigue as someone who was watching since S2.
I watched most of the seasons of 2022, but with less joy then before.
Drag Race Germany reinvigorated the joy as I’m Austrian and did know Meta and Pandora as Queens from the city I live in.
I was introduced to Drag Race through DR Philippines! I only watched the show because I was bored then when I watched episode 1 of DRPH, I was hooked!
I paid my cable provider extra money to get Logo, that same year S1 Drag Race entered my life and I’ve been hooked ever since!
8:16, as a fan who really got into Drag Race in 2021, gotta say, Down Under was the one that caught my eye. But España S1 has my heart.
I started in 2016, when I was browsing netflix while procrastinating studying for an exam and found season 2. Since then I continued to watch every season that came out (Even all of Down Under s1 lol) until Holland 2 broke the streak. I've continued with all the american seasons + UK, Canada and Spain, but there is so many spin-offs right now it's honestly hard to keep track. I consider this to be really good though, it means this format is becoming more and more popular worldwide! Just like loads of countries have their own version on of '... got talent' or the voice and it would be crazy to watch them all, I hope drag race becomes that reality show. I'm originally from Poland and would love to see our own version, however impossible it sounds at the moment.
The fact that you got all this in under 20 minutes is amazing editing. Keep up the good work 👍
My first season of Drag Race was Season 2, I watched it while living in New Zealand in 2010. I instantly loved Juju and she's still one of my absolute favorites along Alaska, Willam, Alyssa Edwards, Ginger, Trixie, Katya, Gia, Bianca ... shit I just realized that I have a lot of favorite Queens 😂❤
World of Wonder better hurry up with Drag Race Sentinel Island!!! 🏝️💅💅
Immediately I went “plane Jane isn’t gonna win” when I saw your thumbnail. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I hate that my brain works this way with drag race iykyk. 🤣🤣
fans are too soft these days, its way too early to tell!
@@anthonyd9844 Nah I’m saying cause of the thumbnail 🤣🤣 two winners and two losers. That’s all.
I think I started watching casually in 2014, starting with season 2. By the time I'd fully caught up season 9 was the first season I watched as it aired and utterly loved Sasha. I kinda burnt out during season 13 and couldn't keep up with all the new releases. I feel like UK5 has restored my love of the franchise and I feel excited about the show again.
Also, what was the deal with Drag Den? I haven't watched it, but I was confused that Manilla started her own drag show in the Philippines, only to have Drag Race Philippines start what, a year later? And it doesn't look like they'd include her? Is there tea? 👀
There are so many new seasons coming out, and most people cant keep up with all of them, but i love the diversity and also what it could mean for local baby queers to have representation from their own country
I started watching drag race in February 2014
Thankfully I began my drag race journey with the best season that was airing and watched it in real time❤️
“The Switch” in Chile was short-lived but pretty good… might be cool if you did a video on that show! It seemed more like “The Voice” or “Idol”/X-Factor of drag, though, and if queens couldn’t sing live, they didn’t exactly last. That being said, Gia Gunn did alright on there. Lol.
Season 2 (I'm old). I haven't been keeping up much with the show itself since seasons 9-10 (miss the old scrappy carefree vibe of the olden days) but still consume media related to or spun off the show so still kinda in the loop
I remember seeing clips of season 10 on Facebook and I fell in love instantly❤😍
I started watching all the way back in the Logo days, season 3 being the first season I got to watch as it was being aired 🥹 I was in 7th grade
Been watching since season 4. Feels like forever ago!
The Switch is the first international but not canonical spin off because in Chile there's a big Drag presence in the media since the late 2000s thanks to a webseries called "Amigas y Rivales", wich is basically a sort of untucked for the main show who was live in bars
Kit Connor popping up was something lol
I've been watching Drag race since Season 6. The spark died for me during season 11-14 except for 12 which we all watched during lockdown then got back to it last year and now I am watching season 16 which is a good season so far.
The only international franchise that I have watched are UK 1-2, Canada 1 and France 2.
Would love to see an east asian country season, like In Japan, because they have a thriving drag scene, even korea who does incredible reality tv shows ,also I wonder if they would make a drag down under vs the world season because i really love this version where they cast powerful queens from different countries in to the world stage
Drag race china/taiwan
@@ramirovillegas5177 China's queer scene is too oppressed and the country has crazy laws ,so it's not happening, And Taiwan is too small, Maybe if they combine Hongkong, and dig out drag queens who can speak Chinese from all over Asia they can make a lasting franchise
I was a fan from season 1 episode 1 of the OG drag race!! I would watch while walking/using the elliptical at the gym praying I could my butt to look as great as those queens butts looked 😅
Can anyone even keep up with all the seasons? I'm so overwhelmed I don't even feel like watching the show anymore
I'm waiting for 2050, who we had iconic new seasons like:
- Drag Race Jupiter
- Melinda Verga's Drag Race
- Rupaul's Drag Race: Old Stars
- Drag Race Wakanda
- Drag Race: Bosnia vs the World
- All Stars 69
- Africa's Drag Race (i mean fr)
I watched all of Celebrity Drag Race 2, it's very "I can show this to my parents and not start any arguments" and I mean that as a complement. If you want to watch a slightly gayer version of The Masked Singer but with dancing it's a fun watch.
I love your videos ❤️
I have watched all of Secret Celebrity Drag Race Season 2! I loved it, and I think it is definitely worth a watch.
7:40 So my journey with Drag Race started weirdly, by me memeing with friends - I looked for a gif with some specific (probably snarky) caption and I found one with RuPaul, which somehow lead to me looking up who that was.
I think it was around time season 6 or 7 started running? But as I had to pirate it, if I remember correctly I started with season 5. And then jumped around - to catch up on older seasons and to keep up with the new ones. I definitely watched most of it, before season 8 and AS2 were announced.
Thank you for this vídeo!
my roommate at the time (still one of my best friends) & i moved in together august 2021 & my drag race journey took off from there! this video helped me realize uk3 was the first season i ever watched live! & when it comes to american seasons, season 14 will always hold a super special place in my heart due to it being my 1st live american season AND getting to go to watch parties with THE angeria paris van michaels on fridays was so memorable for me & drag race as a whole brought me closer to my 2 best friends
It’s crazy how perfect your season 9 casting was besides Kameron Michael’s
Plane Jane on the cover? OMG she is already the main character of s16
Imagine next year, this video will be twice as long.
I'm from Sweden and tried to find some info about Drag Race Sweden. In an interview with Robert Fux in the QX Magazine from 2023-04-23 he says that we'd love a 2nd season (and more), that they have plans and ideas and that he's ready for it, but that it's up to the producers and the decision makers to make it happen.
In another article from the newspaper Aftonbladet from 2023-04-22, they wrote that the view count was a bit of a flop, but in an interview with a program manager (not sure if that's the correct term) from the Swedish Television (SVT) said that they haven't made any decisions if they'll produce more seasons but that they haven't completely abandoned the thought.
I can't really find any more recent articles :/ and considering SVT will host the Eurovision Song Contest this year they might not have the budget for Drag Race :(
yeah it’s definitely a budget problem, we would have probably gotten something if it wasn’t for Eurovision. Although, I’ve heard that every network that has the dragrace license has to produce at least 2 seasons. I’m hoping for the best because I really loved the season and so did many of my friends too.
Hi someone that watched all of Secret Celebrity Drag Race 2. Absolutely not worth it, it’s basically if you took the masked singer with drag queens. Several of the celebs are like “who?” And the judging was very interesting lmao
The 2nd series of the Celebrity version was amazing! It was like a cross between Drag Race and The Masked Singer.
I greatly enjoyed the Secret Celebrity seasons. Its very much the intersection between Drag Race and The Masked Singer 😅 The second season was drastically better than the first
Season 2 was my first season after stumbling across it on NETFLIX of all places. I was 13-14 years old at the time and I was immediately hooked. I can’t remember how many seasons were on Netflix at the time, but I wanna say it stopped around season 7 or 8. I have been a super fan ever since!
12:09 I watched the 2nd season of Celebrity Drag Race and I loved it. It has some amazing performances. I'll recommend the "Bitch betta have my money" lip-sync for sure. The snatch game was pretty good. I'm actually really surprised you haven't watched it yet. You absolutely should!
i really want drag race japan
especially loving the 2024 content so far!!!!
According to some rumors, Paramount is considering canceling a few series like Drag Race Belgium. Because its budget is costly and its earnings are not very high. I hope a channel in their own country will buy the rights and keep it going. According to another rumor, Vivacious is the new host for Drag Race Serbia
Taiwan hosted by nymphia wind based solely on what she’s already serving on 16
"The Switch" was such a good show, it's true the format was different, but it didn't disappoint, especially season 2, with Gia stealing everyone's attention. and it is, although they may not want to accept it, the FIRST international version of drag race.
Very good timeline, realising how very quick Drag race have become its own Universe. you forgot to mention Drag race Philippines is the first international franchise to have a separate untucked show just like the US version. I cannot wait to see Drag race India, Korea and Japan very soon.
How you sud this in under 20 minutes… wild.
I began watching when I was 12 during s9 airing and I watched season 7 and that season changed my life because I’m a drag queen
The season that made me a fan was Season 2 on the Country Queens episode, because that was really the first episode I ever watched.
17:31 THIS is why I checked out years ago and watch one season per year max (including Dragula)
I want series hosted in a Country in Africa, A China series, and a Japan series. Also, I’d like series from the Caribbean and India.
I'm from UK and its first season caught my attention, I then binged watched all seasons of Rupaul's Drag Race and All Stars by the end of 2021 😅😅
Top 5 Seasons
1. UK Season 2
2. All Stars 2
3. Season 4
4. Season 5
5. Season 6
The very first season I watched was S5 when cable was still a thing in 2013 and I've been a fan since
I started from the Season 9! Forever in my heart
My first actual season was Canada vs The World. I thought it was so wholesome. The top 2 voted the same each, they spoke about several issues that they were dealing with personally. And it was a nice ending for Ra’jah . Her and Silky being on three seasons together was wholesome. Even better that Brooke crowned her
I became a fan of rpdr in 2014, not long after season 6 had aired, although season 4 was my first. Season 7 was the first ever season I caught live. Watching the popularity of drag race skyrocket after this era has been just insane!
"Not a punch, but a keek." Glorious.
March 2020 is when the lockdown starts here in the Philippines. I explore watching drag race on RUclips first like the MsMojo lists HAHA. Just a few months,I already knew the history of drag race. January 2021 was the first season 1 watch officially.
Does anyone know what the drag scene is like in Africa? I know alot of countries have strict laws agaist it, but are their any countries that have a drag scene?
Szn 15 was my first szn! Antra’s talent show went viral and I was obsessed
Super excited for plastic tiara !!!!!
I've started watching in Season 3. What we need BADLY is DR Brasil 2!
Sweden isn’t cancelled but the network wants to focus on Eurovision cuz they’re hosting and then do s2 next year
Omg I don’t think I can keep up with all the international seasons… it’ll be like a part time job to watch them all! Lol 😂
7:40 i watched season 2 in 2021 i think :D first drag race season and i was so pleasantly surprised
Swede here 👋 I dont know much about if we will have a second season or not (i certainly hope we will!) But i think its interesting to note that a lot of our cast were queens who didnt even live in sweden anymore. Our drag scene, from what I know, is VERY small and id guess is secluded to our "big" cities. Aka my little region? Never seen or heard of a place where you can see drag queens.
HOWEVER. Even if we dont get a second season (which the host has said he would want to have) i HIGHLY recommend people watch it! Yes, it is a little rough around the edges filming wise but the queens are SO lovable and there is some fun drama in the later half. I certainly also feel that our winner as well as the two runnerups could hold their pwn against other queens in a vs the world format so i really really hope we get to see that one day!
All stars 5 was the first season I watched as it came out and peaked my interest in drag
About Sverige’s renewal: it’s been said thorough social media that they’ll renew but not for 2024 since all the focus of the network will be on Eurovision, since this year Sverige is hosting it
Started drag race when I bought season 8 on apple when it came out, then watched 7, and then all stars came out and girllll I was INNNN
Like I remember being a sophomore in debate in high school and my debate partners and I would watch episodes of 8 on my laptop between rounds
The first season that I saw was season 5 in 2013, a friend of mine was watching on netflix and I LOVED it. At the same day, i started watching season 1 and here I am hahaha
My 1st season was season 7 in 2009. After Violet was crowned, i was so hooked, i binge watching s1 until s6 and rewatch s7 again
For me it was season 4 I got into drag race so I watched it from season 1 to now and it has seriously changed me for the better as I had low self confidence in myself and those was my escapism along with theatre performances and anime and stuff xxx
Secret celebrity drag race 2 was actually very watchable because you had Brooklyn, Monet, and Jujubee and was actually a competition. The 1st version was fun and brought back queens like Vanjie but scdr2 was actually worth the watch as a nice filler. It played alot like the masked singer
As someone who also watched the whole season 2 of Secret Celebrity Drag Race I can honestly say that this season was definitely pleasant to watch. I was highly entertained. Definitely worth the watch. I agree with everything said above.
Season 3 was the first season I watched live.
I loved the Belgian version, Rita Baga was a very good mentor and judge
I'm excited to hear they will do a season 2!
I started watching during the lockdown in 2021, i was bored doing my college asigments (architecture, making models and drawing plans) so i wanted to really watch something while doing it. I knew Lady Gaga was in Drag Race so my first season was Season 9, then i started my way up from season 1 to season 13 🥰
I love how now days we have drag race all over the year .. every week some season entertain us ❤ ... I love that
meh
I’ve been with drag race since 2009.
Queens in the universe for part 2 please 🙏
When did y'all start watching Drag Race? I found a compilation of all of Manila's looks on youtube and started watching from season 3 back to season 1, getting all the winners spoiled.. Just in time for season 4 and have been hooked ever since!!
Did I miss it or did you not mention Global All Stars? Either way, I’m really excited for that one, AS9 and S16 because this is my first year watching all new seasons. I got into the show in like November of last year lol.
I would argue season 4 was the catalyst mainly because of the amount it gets quoted it was also the first time an alternative queen. I consider 1-3 in their own category because even then there’s stark differences between 3 and 4. 3 also spawned Pérez Hilton leaking Rajas win thus changing the way winners were announced 4 and onward 2:18
