You either have to get knuckles from an 04-06 6mt/07-08 type-s to fit the oem Acura brembos, get a bbk designed specifically for your TL model that will bolt directly onto your stock knuckles, or retrofit Brembos from a different car. I have Brembos from a Genesis coupe on mine
so the automatics are good for the 04 TL and onwards?
07-08 auto trans are more reliable
@@thecarfiend11 aye... imma add that to the bucket list, also wat abt the honda accord samething? Also for the TSX wat year is good?
Pretty much same thing for the V6 Accord. As for the i4 Accord/TSX, i havnt heard anything bad for their automatic transmissions. Any year TSX is good
@@thecarfiend11 cool but my friends 2013 TSX had a power steering issue it cost him 800$CDN to fix it. It was suppose to be recalled by Acura, but his didnt make it
Parts cars seem like a great idea for these cars
Wow that dash cover looks horrible. I got mine from dash designs and the fitment is almost perfect. I have a 07
I may have picked one that was made pretty bad. I see alot of different cloth mats. But at least mines is the worst one and I can show what you might be getting
If you have grinding gears, it means your synchros are worn out. Manuals from honda don't really have this issue. Probs just your car from bad shfting habit/wear.
3rd gear grind. all other gears were fine. Alleviated the issue with GM Syncromesh
Hey bro your from mass? Me too.. from Boston and I also have a 3rd vegan TL too
What's up bro. Yup, i'm a fellow MassHole lol. I live 20 somewhat minutes from Boston. I'll eventually want to do a local Acura TL meet. Follow me on IG
Whereabouts in Mass??
North Shore area
What color is your caliper ?
Teal color from Duplicolor. amzn.to/3yPoQaZ I actually made a video about it.. ruclips.net/video/FUALtWpqovU/видео.html
@@thecarfiend11 thank you so much
No problem. Happy modding
That dash cover looked like a tiny golf course.
Am interested
How many miles is this
As of March, 6, 2022, I have about 86K miles
You don’t have rear fender rust? I thought that was pretty common on the TLs
I actually do have rear fender rust. But I don't see that as a 3G TL common issue. I see that as a common issue with MANY cars, specifically if you live in the salt belt. Every single car that I have owned has fender rust issues =[
I got mine from Amazon fits great for my 2008 Acura tl .I paid less then yours
Should I buy a TL at 192,000 miles?
Really depends on your budget and the condition of the car
Daughter bought 04 TL at 180k no issues until she got t boned
Don’t get the cloth math. Use a cover lay. I have that
Soon man, Not happy with how it looks
The shifter is a problem
synchromesh didnt fix my 3rd gear grind/popout. big F
I say it more alleviates that 3rd gear grind. But syncros and trans may be F'd up
On the inside its a crackhouse, but on the outside…😎
Bro those is not even common problems
Bro… I’ve had all these problems Lmaoo
Lmao. Yeah, these issues are common on many Honda/Acuras of the same vintage. But I tried pointing out TL specific problems that occured for me
What fucken laws does not let u put a sunshield in your own cars!!!
