This video could only have been made by someone who experienced the 90s sims first time around. How i miss manuals, keyboard overlays and the posters in my bedroom! 🇬🇧👍
Up there in the Top 10 RUclips Gaming Video Thumbnails To Have Ever Existed. And I will drive my stealth fighter around on its landing gear strafing anyone who says otherwise. (Thanks for the good memories mate, great little compilation!)
Great video damsonn, thanks for sharing. I miss the heft and presentation of big box PC sim games especially the Jane's Combat Simulation variety. I also miss the days of having a half-dozen or more, loooong aisles packed full of PC gaming software.
Apparently, we had the same path in simulation except that I started on Commodore 64 and Amiga before the PC. I kept everything. There have been so many gems in our time compared to today....
Very cool. Some of the titles that stood out in my opinion: *Graphic Simulations' (Empire Interactive) Hornet series with 3dfx support, most of what Jane's put out and Razorworks' EEAH/EECH were awesome. Honorable mention: Novalogic's Comanche 3* ... Did you hear about some of the more exotic ones like the almost forgotten Warbirds series or a thing called Back to Baghdad? 🎉🎉🎉
Yeah, I recorder a video of early Warbirds version actually you can watch here: ruclips.net/video/KMvfsg-_kTA/видео.htmlsi=7XOHTNEV9RfRZ9F9 Also I own retail boxed release of Back to Baghdad, played it some many years ago. Will have to get it up and running someday again.
You can look it up on internet archive. Though ATF Gold is Windows only, and on modern systems it's a bit hard to get running properly. It's better to get Jane's Fighters Anthology which runs pretty well on modern systems, or if you insist on ATF Gold use PCem for emulation. You can also use ATF with NATO Fighters expansions (basically the same as ATF Gold) and run it under DOSBox.
Thank you all for nice comments and be sure to check out the video description for more info about the games showcased in the video.
ahh my 90s life.... I miss it so.

Hello! Where can I get ATF gold? I don't have a CD player on the pc. I love your channel, keep it up!

I grew up with F-15 SEii SEGA 😊
music?
The rhytm guitar and base line were played and recorded by me. The guitar solos and drums were added later with the help of AI.
