My favorites were always Micro Machines and Stunts. Cycles cheated in that once I played and rode slowly up to a crashed motorbike.. only to see the downed bike continue to ride and away from me! 😄 Thank you for the memories. 😊
7:29 men that started to look really good! Overall crazy how big the differences in graphics, handling (physics) and sound in that era are. some games look like a fanmade school project compared to other gamers from the same time period, which were already really advanced.
My favs: Fatal Racing (Whiplash), Micro Machines, Death Rally (so damn good, so damn good music - Purple Motion, haha), 4D Stunts Driving (build most complicated tracks yourself and share with class) and GP-EGA (as we called it by the .exe name)... yeah, 30 freakin' year ago now
@@javierrosa2066 thanks for watching and commenting. I dont think that game was DOS.

For me some of the best are: - Carmageddon; - Death Rally; - Destruction Derby; - Hi-Octane; - Street Rod; - Ignition; - Grand Prix II; - IndyCar Racing; - Nascar Racing... And there are a ton of them.
Vividly remember Grand Prix Circuit and trying to get Screamer and Slipstream to run on the family PC. Bullfrog's Tunnel didn't make the list - that was a great early 90s anti-gravity racer.
Que maeavilla jugue mucuisimos fe estos titulos. Habia un juego de coches que ibstalabas armas cono misiles y cosas asi y durante la carreta tenias que destuir otros coches no recuerdo el nombre
Wrecking Crew, Track Attack, Terep 2, even GT Racing 97, myabandonware has a patch for the timer btw. the version everyone got had a flair, bad cr,äcking
You didn’t include the best one of them all… Network Q Rac Rally Championship My bad 😂 there it is, at minute 7:28, good job 😊 As a kid I spent months on this game….playing for hours..endless hours
Yeah, Vette was a major omission here. The first fully 3D open world driving game (Turbo Esprit had a pseudo-3D perspective but it wasn't rendered polygonally) definitely deserves a mention.
@mattflin5171 Vette! defined in 1989 what games (not only racing games) would become. A huge city in open world, a varied traffic (cars, bikes, trucks and even pedestrians), point-to-point race with free route, police interception, car damage, multiplayer mode. There would be no GTA or Test Drive Unlimited without Vette! it is worth trying and being mentioned in the lists of important games. The Mac version is better than the DOS one. Thanks for your channel.
Damn, I played the majority of these games back in the day. Crap, I'm old. lol
Me too! Thanks for watching.
Same
Carmageddon, Death Rally, Destruction Derby and Street Rod, so many hours, so much fun! Great video!
Great days! Thanks for watching.
Destruction Derby looks like a windows game😐
Gosh same here, I'm 38 and I played so many hours, best childhood ever, or wasted idk lol
The technical difference between those games is remarkable.
SkyRoads was my first 3D racer 😊

Totally agree.
big red racing.. I loved that. And Carmageddon.
Grand Prix 2 is the reason I'm still hooked to Sim Racing this very day. Many other great memories in there, loved Slicks n Slide.
Great game! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

Carmageddon, Destruction Derby, Wip3out❤
So no Street Rod 2 and Test Drive? I'd say most of the list is good just a shame they're not on the list.

Are you sure 1997n game is a DOS game? It's definitelly Win 95 era.
I believe it is. It's based upon the Exodos set which is accurate. Thanks for watching.
Grand Prix 2 is still good
@@urmo345 it is! Thanks for watching.
when GTA was good
I played all of them, less Power F1.
🎞️🎥🎬🖥️🎮👍👍👍👍

Where is Vette ? 🤨
Gret, but I'm missing Duel.
Vette!

Thanks, yes that's a great game. I don't know all these DOS games so I relied on the list from Moby Games. Thanks for watching.

@@vtrvr511 thanks for the information, much appreciated!
This game is so underrated. When I was a kid didn't appreciate the huge deal it was in terms of graphics and open world. Now I'm truly amazed.
Please put timestamps.
Lotus 3
scorcher
Good you suck at all these games😂
