Even at 83 he was far and away the best pilot I have ever flown with. Mad skills. I really like how much more finesse it takes to get guns on target at these lower speeds, when the defensive pilot has time to see an angle coming and dodge out of the way. You can see a little bit of the yoke and rudder being less than perfectly intuitive when it comes to getting nose on target, and stall-fighting is a thing in a way it isn't in jets. I'd definitely watch more prop content

That was bloody awesome, he is a legend of a pilot. Insane flying through the power lines and road or railway. Awesome video mate.
Just have to say they are both beautiful looking fighters. What weapons for the age of them.

I wasn't even that interested in seeing this fight until I saw the fight and realised this is probably the best one I've seen on this channel! You guys are very skilled

I'm in IL2 vet since the first versions, but the WWII birds, flight model and physics in DCS are just on another level all together.

And btw, in that first clip, that low level high speed fly by was by far the best clip , imo, in quite some time, I laughed out loud, an then rewatched like 5 times. Epic

Shotgun is your "Jester" in this. The man has mad skills and that low level run was one of the best yet!
