I asked Nick in a previous video if he would give us the full Aquaholic Tour of the Symphony of the Seas and he replied back that the video would about a week long. With the amount of attention to detail that he gives us in his videos, I think it would probably last more like a month!
That cruise ship was in Southampton at the weekend. They come into Southampton to get fuel and supplies then moor off Weymouth I believe to discharge grey water and take on water for making into fresh. Never seen Southampton so full of cruise ships. P&O, Cunard, Carnival, Tui, Fred Olsen, Saga to name a few company’s
I know this is a joke but there’s no correct spelling of ‘Valor’. The ship is at anchor due to it being creeper to be in the anchorage rather than use the pier, the pier also just may not be suitable for such a large ship.
@@worldintime5021 I agree: there IS no correct spelling of 'Valor' - 'Valour' on the other hand is listed in the Oxford English Dictionary as being spelled with a 'u', so within British waters at least, the correct spelling is with a 'u'. 👅

Just re-watching this. You really sell Boating in these videos! If only I just lived a bit closer to the sea I would be doing exactly that come the summer.. I especially like the Pizza and Wine anchored off a nice bay in the evening sunshine! Not at all unpleasant indeed.
Spent many holidays on Oddicombe Beach, hiring a beach hut, sadly all gone now as it’s a little unsafe now, the cliff is eroding away. Would love to buy a little sports cruiser. Great video Nick.

Excellent entertaining video ! I am considering a small boat , but all that fiddling with the "Pram hood" at the beginning is not for me, I like the enclosed cabin with our weather , as Im writing its July and we have the heating ON !
Each to their own of course. Being out on a nice day (like in this video) and having to sit inside a box and look out of the window at it isn't for me. But I can see how it would be more practical.
Just a question, how shallow of water can smugglers blues go into? The gulf coast here in Texas can range from 10cm to 60cm, which if your not in a center console fishing boat, you can run up on a sand bar quite easily.
