- When was the last time you watched Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)? The first chapter in Marvel’s Cosmic stories was praised by fans and critics, but what did you think? There are so many hidden references to future MCU movies, Phase 2 and 3! We’re introduced to Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Raccoon and Groot for the very first time on the big screen. Our heroes team up on the Milano to fight Ronan the Accuser, Nebula, Korath, and more to save the galaxy (specifically Xandar) from the power of an Infinity Stone.
From being captured by the Nova Corps, escaping the Kyln, meeting the Collector on Knowhere, to saving Xandar with Yondu and the Ravagers, this movie is chalk full of references to the cosmic side of Marvel comics to villains from other MCU films. Will the Guardians be able to stop Ronan from using the Power of the Infinity Stone? Yes, they can. Cause we’ve all probably seen this movie. I feel that the orb is more of a checkov's gun than a McGuffin. It is an object that builds up to a climax in the third act, whereas a McGuffin is an object that seems important but ends up not being important, and the power stone is very important.

Stan Lee's cameo is in fact the one you pointed out but it's also an Easter egg because on the information bar that pops up when rocket scans Stan Lee it says his race is Skrull which is a nod to the shapeshifting creatures from the comics

When the Guardians are preparing for the finale battle the song cherry bomb by the runaways I believe it is. Cherry bomb is the name of Lea Thompsons characters band.
One thing I noticed, the troll doll was dressed in a certain suit which I feel is a nod to Pip the troll who wore a similar designed suit, sort of a more deeper Pip connection.
What about the scene with star lord in the line-up where they incorrectly write his name as “Space-lord” on the computer?

i don't know if you noticed but in colector scene in one of the "cubes" as I call them there is something that kinda looks like thor to me at least thats what I remember. Just wanted to point that out. Also sorry for my bad english.
