- When was the last time you watched Ant-Man (2015)? The first chapter in Marvel’s Ant-Man saga was received with fairly positive reviews from fans and critics, but what did you think? There are so many hidden references to future MCU movies, Phase 2 and 3! We’re introduced to the MCU versions of Hank Pym and Scott Lang, two generations of Ant-Man. Hank Pym left SHIELD a few decades ago to run Pym Tech, along with Hope Van Dyne (his daughter) and Darren Cross (his protege). However, he has been kicked out of his own company and now enlists Hope and Scott’s help to save the world from the Yellowjacket suit.
We get a fantastic origin story for Scott Lang as Ant-Man, the history of Janet Van Dyne as the Wasp, and a few easter eggs for Doctor Strange, Avengers Age of Ultron, and the future of the MCU.
Will Ant-Man be able to stop Yellowjacket? Yes, he does. Cause we’ve all probably seen this movie. But there are still plenty of awesome easter eggs that will blow your mind on the rewatch. Yellowjacket was also a Golden Age character published by Fox (where Blue Beetle started), though without shrinking powers. A lot of Golden Age stuff ended up at Marvel and DC, whether lawfully bought by them--or not.
I hope Marvel bring back Agent Carter .. It was awesome !!

Funny because I just watched this last night before bed... also, subbed.
I graduated from Nashville Auto Diesel College (now known as Lincoln Tech) in early 1993. One of my classmates was a tank mechanic in the first Gulf War. He had to test drive all the vehicles he worked on in the field when not under combat conditions. He was testing an A-1 Abrams after replacing a tread. He was out in the desert, "at speed" (they governed to max at 60 mph to protect the transmission), when he launched off a berm he didn't see, and flew like a dirt bike. It bounced a few times and kept right on going. Tanks are pretty tough. Especially those.

I think Hank Pym and Steve Rogers (1940's) are the only MCU Characters that aged in the same period as the comics in the movies
I find it interesting how people have a problem with Pym hitting a female, but various villains can beat female characters to a bloody pulp and the same people don't bat an eye.
It's completely different though. Villians are evil, they kinda have it coming, but is the hero, so we don't expect him to be abusive

I would like to point out an easter egg from the deleted scenes. One of the guys in the crowd that Darren Cross gives the first Yellowjacket presentation to, has a Ten Rings Tattoo on the left side of his neck. Don't know if that has been pointed out before, but just saw the deleted scenes and noticed it. It's mostly covered by the collar of his shirt, but if you know the mark, then it's easily recognicable.
Sam, I have a question. The first scene where Scott tries on the suit. He is in the bathroom and it looks like he is hooking it up and typing. Is that a multimeter? It is foreshadowing when he for later when he is trying to mess with the regulator? Where does he hook it up to in the helmet? Why does he have that strange look for a split second before he does anything to the helmet?

This movie is highly underrated within the MCU in my opinion.
The inly one that I could think of is that Siri actually has a single Speaking line in the movie. In the Helicopter Fight Scene.
