Is EMMA right in calling me an iSheep??
I feel this battle of iPhone vs Samsung is over blown with butt hurt fanboy's. I always feel if a product works for you then you should be happy with your purchase. It doesn't make you a sheep. I am a Samsung user and it works for me. I tried the pixel and Motorola before and it isn't for me. But other people feel differently and that's fine. Nothing wrong with using what works for you and what you like. The argument between iPhone and Samsung users is childish.

Coming from an 15 pro max to a s24 ultra i can confidently say the s24 camera is much more detailed and sharper in almost every aspect.

Did you compare them side by side or just going on gut feeling? I tested the S24 Ultra in the shop vs my 15 PM for normal photos, zoom photos and RAW photos 200MP vs 48MP and I honestly think the iPhone's photos looked way better except for zooming way into the distance where the S24 Ultra looked better.
@The.JZA. I work in phone retail every day with customers and it's a daily occurrence when showing examples within in store for them, that the s24 ultra appear far sharper in examples in real time capture.
@@Kyle-gd6sz Okay, well as I said, I also tried them in store, side by side and my experience was the opposite. I thought the Samsung photos looked grainy, blown out and generally a bit meh. Also the preview looks terrible like 480p or something which is not very pleasant. But hey, to each their own.

Rocking mine without a screen protector. 3 weeks in and no visible scratches. I used to have minor scratches on the first week on my previous phones.
Brave man, what’s the secret to keep the screen scratch free?
@JSLReview I keep it away from keys, coins, and basically put nothing else in my pocket but the phone. The gorilla glass armor seem to be doing its job. For the back I still have a case as the paint is very thin, I saw a very small scratch on mine.
Same with me, my is 8 week's now, but I'm getting my tomorrow.

Put the iphone cameras on this thing and i will no doubt pick the s24 ultra. But, because I prefer the natural look of the images/videos shot on the iphone, it's such a pain choosing between the two. I'm a long time apple user and am quite bored with the lack of customization and other software features found on android. BUT I've always preferred the image/video quality of the iphone. My last samsung was the s10 and it was inconsistent. Photos taken with a lot of natural light looked great and if there's not much light, image quality was crappy. And I think it's still the same with the s24 ultra having checked out the cameras in store. Playing around with the cameras, it's quite evident that it is shit indoors.
Yeah it’s hard because it’s usually something minor that Apple does extremely well that keeps me with the iPhone, even when the alternative has a lot of fun features.
You can always edit the photos after they're taken if you want to make the images less saturated etc but some stuff is baked into the photo like sharpness etc.
@@The.JZA.with iPhone there is no need to edit pics, just post and shoot and you get great snaps, s24U takes waaaay to much work to get a lesser quality pic.

I recently picked up a S24 Ultra too for my second phone when they came out. I had not used an android for over a decade and at first I was overwhelmed... after about 2 weeks I had finally set it up perfectly and comfortably for me to use. I did my best making the Ultra my main phone but there are a few things I needed my iPhone... Apple Pay being the main thing. But I loved the Ultra, the screen and cameras a welcome change but overall it was mainly used for scroll through my socials. Anything else it was quicker for me to finish up on my iPhone, the ease of task.

May I ask what your issue was with google pay. I presume you had issues if you prefer Apple Pay??
I think you missed a lot of customization features , one of the main reasons for me to get s24 ultra is the new level of customization you can get on this device , thing you don't see very often in apple phones

Have it since 5 days now and coming from the S23 Plus.
1st day i had to get used to it,size,phone in the hand,but now,with Nova Launcher, it's perfect.
The screen,well.. everything is amazing.

lol you complain about using your thumb to use the fingerprint sensor but don’t realize you still have to use your thumb with apple Face ID to swipe up after Face ID, where as the Samsung just opens it.

I wonder how you don't notice the orange skin tone iphone is showing you in selfie camera! It's very clear and known issue for iphones to take skin tones wrongly (orange color) for years without any fixes!
Yeah and they say iphone shots looks more natural 😂. I don't like my selfies on my gf's iphone when we compared it to s24u cus it made my skin tone look unnatural. Even the ambience shots are not close to real life colors due to over vibrancy. Yeah i look good on the photos, but the colors are not natural.

I don't think you are being biased at all. I totally agree, the S24 Ultra offers alot and is much more exciting to use specially with AI but the iPhone user experience is still a bit more polished. I have the S24 Ultra and I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max as my backup device. You can't go wrong with either phones. Thanks for always coming up with your honest and engaging tech reviews. I'm always on the watch for the next one. :)

What’s making you switch to the OnePlus?
I found a oneplus 12 16gb 512gb for really cheap so wanted to try it out still keeping my s24u but man the only thing I'm not enjoying on the s24 is the camera everything else is great
I've had my Galaxy S24 Ultra for almost 3 weeks now. I'm absolutely loving it. Switched from the Galaxy S23 and no regrets. Loved the S23 but I'm loving the S24 Ultra even more. I also like Apple and have had tons of iPhone's in the past but I always find myself wanting to switch back to Samsung whenever I have an iPhone. Samsung has won me over when it comes to phone's. No complaints with my phone so far. It's also my first Ultra. Always had base model Samsung's up until this point but I'm glad I went with the Ultra this time. Fantastic phone all around.

Correction, some of the AI features MAY cost AFTER 2025 per Samsung

51 billion dollar revenue in Q1. Thats why s24u is the leading smartphone today leading apple.
I really think most iPhone user's can't give them up as it's seen as a status symbol!!! The S24 ultra blows it out the water as do quite a few Android phones if we were to be honest. Yes I'm a galaxy user I've dabbled with iPhones I think the hardware is second to none but the software and user experience let's it down. Apple handicap their phones for reasons unknown if they were to open up to features that Android users are used too and take for granted they would be unbeatable. Just my opinion, not a hater!!!

I have both phones and I can tell you the Samsung is good but cannot match the iPhone in a number of areas. Perhaps, the S25 is the phone to wait for

Love this review. No one can deny that S24U is a fantastic choice. But I like the bit when you said that it’s the little things that the iPhone does well which keeps you from switching. I prefer this kind of take. Organic instead of being overly technical. It’s more relatable. Keep it up!
Appreciate the comment! I feel as though that’s what it boils down to, and I’m not going to deny that the small things perhaps lock me into staying with Apple more than it makes me want to choose it over something like the s24 ultra

No iPhone user who is stuck in an ecosystem will ever switch their phone matter how much it works it is compared to a real flagship. iPhone traps you.
Apple is a cult. They make old inferior products and market them as innovative and superior.
I switched from iPhone 15 Pro Max to Oneplus Open and there is no way back to that. I even changed my Macbook Pro 16 for an Asus Zenbook Duo 2024 with two screens and I'm just blown by how much the other side has matured compared to Apple.
I have both. And i'm switching back and forth between the 2. But tbh the apple watch keeps pulling me back. It's so muth better then anything samsung has to offer.
I like both devices. Each has their advantages and disadvantages. And that has nothing to do with an ecosystem. Its personal preference.

@@mikedimond8816 🤣 late January was an early sale of this phone, and this video was realised at the end of march, so it was exactly 2 months. I dont know how is that 4 months for you, are you able count to 4 ( counting to 10 could be to complicated ) 😆

The apple watch ultra is better than any watch I've used I use it with my s24 ultra. It works pretty well except texting doesn't work.

I watched many battery and thermal test s24 ult vs 15 pm. Iphone always last few minutes longer and more cooler @@rashidahmed1245
But s24 charging speed is insane. Only takes 1h to full charge and iphone takes 2h

Iphone in the Caribbean is bullocks i had iphones from the very 1st one and if America didn't put a band on Huawei they would have been the top sellers, with that said iphone is not a friendly user phone other than taking pictures what else can u do. Plus the s24 ultra beats the iphone 15 pro max at everything.
Really enjoyed seeing your perspective as a iPhone user! I was able to get the S24 Ultra for $300 off here in Canada during a sale (~$1000 US). It was good timing as well because i had to RMA my pixel 8 pro for the second time 🫤. Really been enjoying it so far.
