Great content. I will never switch to an iPhone. I'd rather use two cans and a string. I'll keep my s23 ultra. You forgot one thing, that's Dex. There is no need for a computer or tablet. Just a monitor. And if you have a smart TV, you can use dex on that, wire, or wireless.
Yes and smart view , I use it to play mario 3d world from my s23 ultra to my Samsung TV and use the phone w backbone controller wireless
Yes , I hame tried other phones and I'm past I have been a Samsung person. Recently I left to try other phones but I came back. Everything you said about this phone is 100 percent true. I love this phone and this the extended support. I plan on keeping this for a long time.

Im so glad i got this phone i upgraded from the s20 ultra and its so much better and glad they choose to use a flat screen
My niece and nephews are always drawing on my phone! It's a great way to keep them entertained for a bit without having to unlock my phone for them or having a big crayon/marker mess. And I love it for games like Royal Match. I'll say it again literally the only thing I miss from Samsung S22 Ultra is the burgundy color especially since I'm finding the 24 a little too muted and thinking about getting a colored case instead of my clear one.
So instead of teaching them how to use paper and color you're giving them a phone so they "don't make a mess".. sounds lazy to me

Have to agree. I got it at launch and despite having access to several models, it has been my main. I use a 15 ProMax for work and the S24U blows it away.

I had the 22 ultra and then sold it and immediately regretted it. I now have a pixel 8 pro and i like it better but its a toss up. Id take either no doubt
This phone with Dex paired with XReal Air 2 is a match made in Heaven. If you haven't tried it yet, it's a game changer.
My only wish, please round off the corners! The S22 Ultra has felt the best in the hand so far, really hoping that they round it off a bit more but not mirror the iPhone.
I have the exact same device, with the exact same colour (Titanium Violet). The only difference is that I'm using it with Samsung Smart-View Wallet Case (again in Violet colour).

I’m generally an iPhone user but I have an S24 I’m using right now too. I would say the camera is solid, probably sharper looking photos than my 13pro max takes but that’s a 2+ year old phone so it’s not really a fair comparison. I will say though the battery kind of sucks on the S24, I think my 13 pro max drains at a slower rate with the same usage. Of course you can charge phones pretty quickly now but it’s still a pain in the ass.
@@mattmatt7998 I've heard the opposite. S24+ is getting up to two days of battery life. It's a standout feature.
@HustleHabit If I leave it off or do very little with it, it might last two days. If I'm using it the battery drains pretty quickly.

If your battery is draining quick from regular use, then you might have gotten a lemon.
It happens. The battery life should be getting you, at a minimum, through the day with juice to spare.
Check the battery usage to make sure no apps are taking more power than they should.
Look and see under "Device Care" and check which apps are consuming the most power. Also make sure to check which apps are doing "wake locks" as this can eat through battery if too many apps are performing wake locks in the background.
I don't even know why this is a thing because no app that you're not actively using should be wake locking your phone.
I recently discovered this as I have the Starfield Collector's edition Chronomark with the companion app and it wake locks my Note 20 Ultra for hours at a time in the background.
I should probably uninstall the app because I haven't worn it in a while since I like it more as a collector's piece than a daily watch to wear.
In fact, I just checked. It shows the app has wake locked for 4 hrs 25 min, and total use and "background" was 10 hrs and 21 min.
No wonder my battery life seems to be going down so quick. No other app shows being active for this long. I should uninstall before any more wear and tear goes on the battery because I've had it installed since September last year for the game's release.
Cool watch and app, but my phone's battery needs to be saved. Lol

I had the S22 Ultra for the past 12 months and was so tempted to jump ship and got for the iPhone 15 pro max until i saw the S24 Ultra with it's Snapdragon 8 gen 3 and my mind was made up instantly Due to my brother getting the new phone before me. The very next week after pondering getting it, I then got the S24 Ultra for myself & being able to call it mine is an awesome feeling. Ive not even scratched the surface with it's features. I'm still bitter when it comes down to the missing micro SD card feature, but i'm sure i will get over it.

Same boat, wait for pixel 10 since that's when they'll upgrade the chip from horrible tensor. P7 is a decent phone, just overheating and battery issues which can be lived with
Looks good and knows it is the top of the line, but i dont need an S-pen, and the extra cost so i went down and bought the 24 plus. Love the phone and its pictures.

Updates have come a long way in the last year or so. I know it was ridiculous when I had my Note 20. So much so that I ended up downloading the firmware and the update utility and manually updating my phone.
Sticking with my S23 Ultra. May upgrade to the 25 Ultra or wait for 2026. My main right now is the OnePlus 12. Nice content though.
Over the last several years i've flipped flopped between the Pixel 5, S22 Ultra, Pixel 7 Pro, S23 Ultra, Pixel 8 Pro, and now finally the s24 Ultra. I wanted to love the Pixel, but the constant warmness of the phones (except Pixel 5) we nothing short of a pain. S24 Ultra is amazing, and the immediate responses from Google Assistant is outstanding. I'm not flip flopping again and don't see a reason to upgrade for a several years, as opposed to be changing "just because." I will say, speed notwithstanding, the Pixel 5 was the perfect phone. Would LOVE to see a S-series Ultra in that size.
Samsung must be rewarded for having such a full featured phone. 📱 I feel like my iPhone 15 Pro Max is like a child’s phone. I’m so painfully bored 🥱 with Apple no multitask and Siri sucks Samsung is the KING 👑

I have the s24+ and OnePlus 12 two of the best android phones in my opinion
Both are fantastic phones.
It's a great phone, but it has one hugely annoying 'feature', and that is Samsung's dogged insistence on not enabling Snapdragon Sound from the latest Qualcomm chipset that powers the Ultra worldwide. Apt-x adaptive and lossless are not available and that means many Bluetooth headphones and true wireless earbuds do not work at their best with this phone. Equipment from brands like Sennheiser, Focal, Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, Bose, Dali and others have high end offerings in the Bluetooth market that do not use LDAC, but instead use Aptx-Adaptive. Sort it out, Samsung.
Sony Xperia 1 VI is coming and going to trump all other Android and Apple phones out of the park

Indeed, it may be the best but, at that price tag Samsung can keep it. Hypothetically, if I were interested in purchasing a new Samsung device I would buy the s24 plus. If you don't need an s pen or a gimmicky titanium frame it's a much better option.
Or better zoom camera and bigger screen and battery

Frankly, I'm at an age and place in my career that I can afford whatever phone that I want. Yet, I will not pay that. Truthfully, the s24 ultra is for people with more money than IQ points.
@@segunthepikachufan1470 actually, it is not supported on the versions that have the exynos processor. However, the versions that offer the Snapdragon 8 generation 3 are another story.

I had a Samsung Fold4, and it didn't last 3 year's my phone screen just went blank 😳 on the opening and the closing. Now I am HAPPY, owner of an S24 ULTRA. I'm still researching what all it does, but so far, I am extremely happy 😊 with my Titanium Yellow-Gold candy bar 🍫 😂😂😂❤ 📱

My S23 Ultra had a much better camera! Look up wifi issues on the S24 Ultra before you buy.
Only thing I don’t like is the weight. Too heavy for me. I still have it as my backup phone

As an android user that just got an iPhone 14 Pro Max from someone ,I don’t think that I will ever go back to android again till I use a top android phone before I decide ,the smooothness and fluidity of iOS is just top notch ,I just love how it feels when scrolling and browsing ,I still have one plus 8t as my secondary phone but if I.m to choose between Samsung s24 ultra and iPhone 15pro max even though I prefer android gestures navigation to iOS navigation ,
I wouldn't have an Apple phone for free now. I have the s24 ultra and my partner has the iphone 15 pro max and it's so laggy compared to my s24 ultra. Apple miles behind and I used to love them.

Terrific device... Still haven't fixed the Always On Display issues. Some probably won't care... BUT I use it on every phone I've had whenever possible. Shame.

Are your eyes okay? I ask because I noticed a possibly unusual blinking pattern.
Having this issue with mine ... when I wake up I can't make calls or texts unless I switch on and off airplane mode then it works fine. All settings have been checked and rechecked by Xfinity and Samsung tech support ... no answers, My iPhone 15 plus works fine, no issues. SO annoying. Many complaints about this issue on Reddit , no answers.
Mine had to be sent back to Samsung for repair. Try to ask samsung for authorizion to take your phone to ibreakufix. I had two boards fry on my S24 Ultra.

I agree with you.....but I think they do it not to upgrade every year but for those who haven't upgraded in a while....so it's really a choice if you WANT to upgrade every year. Otherwise you can stick with what you have for 3, 4, 5 years.....I went from the S22U to the S24U but will keep this for 4-5 years....
@markcossman200 the reason they make them every year is to milk as much money as they can out of people. They don't care if you have the latest technology. They want the revenue
But, the s24U is better and that I'd an inescapable fact.

What is the battery life like. Alex Gear & Tech reckons the battery life is pants and the cameras suck. Can this really be true. I have been on the fence re purchasing one of these not sure weather to wait for the S25 Ultra. What do you think ?

I wish Samsung had a true competitor to the Apple Watch Ultra besides that Samsung has the most features and they don’t treat you like a child they give you the most features in a phone and that is so important ⚡️🤙❤️
They don't allow you to unlock the bootloader so yea unfortunately they do still treat you like a child just not as much as Apple does

@@TechOdyssey the reason literally came down to handling of the two phones . I prefer the rounded corners of the iPhone . I constantly using a phone all day to take pictures of completed jobs . The cameras are quicker within the app I use for work than android (CompanyCam) . Media consumption hands down s24 ultra . Still use it at home but at work it’s the iPhone for me (15pm) for pictures and video and app usage

So how do I switch to a Samsung when I use a 15 Pro Max, Apple Watch Ultra, an Ipad for work, and a Macbook? I'm loving that s24 Ultra. I only use air drop occasionally. Any suggestions would be great.
S24U, galaxy watch 6 or 5 pro, and the tab s9 or s9 ultra. Or can even do the s9 FE. Keep the MacBook imo. The galaxy books are good, but not MacBook level unless you have an old one.
I have s24 ultra. I think the oneplus UI is better. But I'm just coming from 1 + 10 pro. I had it for the past two years
Great phone but sub par cameras sadly. Certainly not an iPhone killer though. Samsung still struggle to sell it. iPhone remains gold standard in tech sadly for purchases

Iphone 15pm is simply better at all things, the s24 series is most definitely NOT an iPhone killer, in fact no android is.

OK, OK I do agree The s24 ultra is one heck of a phone but we must address the elephant in the room. The sound on the phone is trash when you are using the speakerphone it doesn’t sound like $1000 phone should sound in my opinion, and yes, I’ve tampered with all the settings and the adaptive sound and the yada yada yada but if you ever notice listening to Apple Music or Samsung music, you have to turn it all the way up to Feel Something and even then it doesn’t sound good
Mad respect for the S24 series but I couldn't deal with the shutter lag and lack of fluidity on One UI.
Settled on the OP12 despite losing Dex & couldnt be happier, especially with the charging speeds and fluidity.

I bought the samsung 24 ultra and I already had the I pad mini and the Mac book and my I phone mini but can't integrate the samsung into the apple eco system ,,, notes, photos, presentations on keynotes and pages...... I'm so frustrated. is there a way I can go about having it on my samsung through apple ???
I didn't invest in the Apple ecosystem. I use the S24 and Tab S9. So much better than iOS and far more customizable. I also use the iPad Mini 6 and have had problems with overheating in hot/humid conditi/ons and am frustrated by the poor keyboard and general usability. Great form factor and performance though.-

Do you know that the s25 ultra will be the worst phone in every thing ( No new updates ) it will be like the s24 ultra .
1- No camera update's
2- No 65 watts ( fastest charging )
3- No battery increase ( 5500 mah to 6000 mah )
4- No 3000 nits in the display

Chinese phones are more cheaper and It has more technology in their phones.
The phone works well, but it is not an iPhone killer. Too many obstacles, apps, audio, and outdated items to do that. And what is the deal here in 2024 with Samsung devices and all the advancements, they still come out of the box with those same lame notfication sounds and goofy ringtone, set as defaults from way back on the first Samsung phones released. Come on Samsung, it's 2024 not 2004, it's ok to digitally replace your library of mono 8 bit sound bites. lol.

Have you heard about this video camera unit problem, when you record video and you raise your phone with the right corner going up, the sound of OIS is recorded and ruins your work ? Set your phone at the angle, when upper right corner of the device is up. And raise the phone recording video. Yes. GOOD Luck. Major FLAW !!!
