I found it! The moment I saw Timerra had a Sandstorm skill, I was hoping someone would post a montage of Timerra using her skill while Darude’s Sandstorm played in the background. Thanks so much for this!
It's easy to miss out on her potential, though. She doesn't start off that great. I almost gave u on her when she proved fairly unimpressive the first few maps I tried her on. I decided to stick with it, because it wouldn't be the first time a FE unit starts out weak but ends up being incredibly good and Timerra fit right into that category. Takes her a while to get the ball rolling but once she does, she definitely makes up for the effort you have to put in.
@@chrisc4208ame here. I’m on the final chapter right now and Timerra felt great till ch 25 and 26. I use her with Three House Lords emblem and when shes engaged she feels great (but this DLC is so stupidly broken as is lol). But when shes not?? Her crits don’t one shot anymore unless Sandstorm procs and usually I need some support from things like Bonded shield to ensure she doesnt die. Since I am using her as a damage dealer instead of a tank she takes a bit more damage. Overall i feel like she is really strong but in the end game her damage starts to fall off a bit. Just make sure U have an ally that can secure the kill and has a good hit chance.
Mine hit a 444 hit once… Approximately 65-70 def sandstorm crit with hectors hardest hitting weapon against a wyvern rider for the dragon effectiveness
Lucky for you many people agree she is S Tier since she can both enemy and player phase fairly easy and can tank damage if need be. Give her Ike, manipulate enemy aggro to surround her and she does mega kek.
of course darude would play. but yeah Hector makes sense. Lotsa ppl say up her speed or her build to help offset her speed debuff. but hector be all about that life.
Nah timerra full commit on a sandstorm build and a brave lance is stupidly good even on maddening, I’m doing my first maddening and I’m not gonna act like I’ve played super well I think I kinda fucked myself a lot letting pretty much anyone I didn’t wanna use die and building some sub part units but my timerra and diamant are the two units who can basically survive on their own and be sent off against waves of enemies and that’s been keeping me alive a lot letting the run continue hopefully till completion when really it shouldn’t have
Damn, I haven't been using her in my playthrough but this is making me want to. Those are probably the highest damage numbers I've ever seen in a Fire Emblem game

At the start of combat, if unit's special is ready, calculates damage using unit's Def. (A PRF Bonfire, with a special "readied" effect. I theorize this assuming she would have Def higher than Atk, with a superboon on it as well. Also, Fortress Def exists, so that's something that could really bolster this PRF). IVY Grasping Void (2 Count Special). Boosts damage by 25% of foe's attack. Against tomes and staves, boost by 50% instead. (Basically, magical Ruptured Sky, made a bit better because it's a PRF special). DIAMANT Fair Fight (B Passive) If unit initiates combat, disables skills that prevent counterattacks, guarantee or prevent follow-up attacks, change attack priority, and non-special skills that "reduce damage by X%." (Null B basically. Though it would likely be the first passive to have DR piercing, so that's unique).
I'm playing her wyvern, just want to try, I like flying units for doing any map :) her own class is good but mvt+5, even with item +1mvt it's not enough for me hehe
It’s because she has really ass build so every weapon she wields lowers her speed a fuk ton considering her high speed growth. It’s probs why people are just making her enemy phase with Hector or Ike to salvage her
@@solareflare47 Hector gives strength defense and most importantly BLD, Sigurd gives BLD and dex and she has really good speed growths, she just falls off if dont invest or utilize her strengths well compared to invested units you currently have when you get her + should feed both draco shields you get to her but is good for the rest of the game since serves as a far better tank due to dodgy and never getting doubled
On maddening she's too slow to double consistently but not bulky enough to avoid getting 1 rounded Her nonexistent build base means she gets weighed down by basically every lance bur slim lances in the game, meaning you need to sped the resources on another big forge for her to deal notable damage She's not fast enough like Chloe that she can just ignore getting weigh down because of a high speed Stat Timerra is easily one of the most middling units in this game
I wanna know how people make her good. I can barely get her to even consider doing damage to a unit, much less hit. Not to mention she's a lvl 15 picket and hasnt used Sandstorm once, despite the fact she's gotten Dex every level.
Forged killer lance and spear. I paired her with Leif so she takes even less dmg when tanking. Ike would also be pretty good (but i paired him with Etie).
Honestly when I first built her I didn't know she had such high speed. I gave her the Fire Emblem Heroes lance maxed out which is just a steel weapon with an effect. Started with Ike, went to Roy and then Hector came out and shes my second most busted unit. Still a Picket too. She even doubled before Hector came out. She's honestly a beast and I don't know why people have trouble with her.
@@TrickstarEX her bases are really bad for the higher difficulties and she has an awful performance in her join chapter Her growths as well aren't particularly good and her personal class is hot garbage
@@magiv7573 They might actually be around the same, Armads has higher Might, and adds +5 Defense, but I also don't know if we're working with x 1.5, x 2, x 3 for effective damage in this game. It's probably x 2, because it feels higher than the just 1.5 but I've had some ease with just tanking effective damage, so x 3 seems to be impossible. If it's times two, Wolf Beil probably just outdoes Armads, if it's 1.5 Armads is better.
@@MidnaNightengale it's x3 weapon might in this game Wolf beil is 10 base might Armads is 22 So that an 8 might lead when factoring the effect damage shown off on all the cavs here With the sandstorm process it's a little closer but armads only goes from 22 to 25, not being out wolf beils effective 30 mt
@@magiv7573 Huh, I guess I'm just shocked that I'm able to tank x 3 effective damage. Also, I do know for a fact that effectiveness stacks, so never let a Great Knight near an boss with a Rapier, Hector, or in Micaiah's Thani range. Because they'll get MELTED.
@@MidnaNightengale pretty sure it doesn't or else it would be the first time ever effective damage could stack I highly doubt it but I can't check rn like I did early, but those weapons just have really high might, hit on a great knights res, or both (exclusiding rapier as that falls off hatd) so you probably just explode them anyways The enemies in the video are mostly great knights for example, and they're only 2 hit koing them with wolf beil
Still kinda hate how she kinda legit does 0 damage if she doesn't proc sand storm and has a kind of low def cap for how strong sandstorm can be. But I do get not having her have a cap greater then an armor knight or general
Timerra is such a mid unit, my god Tried so hard to make her work, even dumped all of my stat boosters on her and she's still outclassed by literally everyone
@raeryuko No I've actually kept him on Timerra all the way to the final chapter and after that when I continued playing (to get more characters leveled up, more bonds and supports, etc) I paired him with Vander (which is an insane combo aswell), while Panette was paired with Leif since she was the only available option at the time I got him
@raeryuko I played on Hard during the main story and after the final boss I switched to Normal to make it even possible to level up the characters I barely ever played, the skirmishes are pretty much impossible for underleveled characters
Its truly remarkable how she can literally be doing 0 dmg but a sandstorm crit will oneshot anyway.

Ironically I had the opposite experience, I felt like she was pretty capable but she fell off hard for me the longer I used her

My Timerra has middling strength and great defence but only procs sandstorm during crits, she's the most "all-or-nothing" unit I have lmao
Timerra is such a great unit and I always enjoy infantry lance classes, plus sandstorm is an absolutely fantastic skill

@@solareflare47 you dont need a fat weapon on her... give her javelin so she can proc at both ranges and doubles

I play without giving it too much thought and she's fine to me. Then again I play on Normal
And to think, if you used Armads instead, it would have gone even further beyond...
Ide armad exact might but wolf beil deals effective damage so i doubt armads hit harder if at all
