  • Palak Paneer is the iconic Indian Spinach Curry made with golden pan fried pieces of cheese (paneer). For a recipe this special, I can't endorse shortcuts. This is made entirely from scratch - including the paneer cheese!

Very interesting. Going to have to give this a try. But mostly I liked seeing how to make fresh cheese. Lots of potential ideas with that. Thank you. 😊🧀

Amazing! I’m Indian and I’m always learning so much with the way you interpret these recipes! Also most Indians would buy Paneer (Cheese) from the stores since they don’t crumble as much as the homemade ones. I’ve used regular pasteurised milk before and I didn’t have much luck. It might work better with some kind of rennet, I guess! Yours looked pretty good, can I ask if you used a special milk?

Well I faced the same scenario.. After doing research... I realized after curdling and draining the water from curd you knead it smooth for couple of minutes.. And put in the container, freeze it for few hours and cut it

excellent video =] thank you , about to make this right now =] ; i dont usually have all the ingredients on hand and atm im going to use tofu instead of paneer and frozen spinach and dried ginger instead of fresh , but i can guaranteed that it will still turn our delicious as ive done this several times before =] ; if you do have all the fresh ingredients tho , its even better obvs =]

if I make it like that, can I eat it without cooking it?

    • @henrywalsh683

If you are asking about the cheese/paneer, then yes you can eat it raw without cooking it, but it doesn't taste good. If you pan fry it for a minute and add a little bit of salt and pepper, then it will taste a lot better.
