    My garlicky Saag Paneer recipe is a family favorite! Palak Paneer, or Saag Paneer, as it’s called in some Indian restaurants, is an Indian creamed spinach recipe with chunks of pan-fried Indian cottage cheese (paneer.) It’s the perfect vegetarian dish, and it’s so good served over basmati rice or with naan!
    This Beginner friendly recipe is simple and easy.

    It's easier to just saute' the onions and garlic, tomato and spices first and then directly add chopped spinach into the pot and stir up. The you cook it down until its all soft. Add some water. Then you immersion blend it until creamy.

    I so appreciate that you give the weight of your ingredients. I use a scale and measure in grams. For spices, yes, I use teaspoon measurements. Measuring 100 grams of greens is more helpful than "1 cup of greens," for example. One never knows how tightly the cup was packed. Or if it's a chunky vegetable or the paneer, how finely chopped it was. Thank you for the time you took to weigh and report what it is.

    Currently looking at your vegetable dishes for ideas on what to cook for my in laws 40th anniversary. Can you recommend two dishes please

    • @MyLittleKitchenRecipes
      @MyLittleKitchenRecipes  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, definitely. If I had to pick two then Saag Paneer would be one and the other is my Chana Dal which you can find on my channel. Both dishes are different In texture, the Chana Dal is more of a dryish curry whilst the Saag Paneer is slightly wetter curry due to the spinach. If you wanted, you could even throw in a starter, Onion Bhajis or Paneer Tikka. Happy Anniversary to them both and I hope whatever it is you make, you enjoy your time together 💜😊
