      I didn't watch it. I'm an Oliver Cromwell sort of guy you see, except more fun and certainly more fun than Charles. I think the weather was a sign of things to come regarding Charles.

      man I live in Dublin Ireland, and last year I heard some really load noises outside my house and they were actually there practising for a show in bray. I'm so jealous we have nothing like the red arrows in Ireland. DAMN SO JEALOUS :(

    Historic is the right word. all the red arrows should be in a museum they are that old. Time the King splashed out on 9 T7A red Hawks.

    Why did they not allocate the 'United Kingdom' liveried Voyager C1 for the flypast?

      There was a much grander flypast organised but the rain and low cloud meant that for safety reasons it was limited to the helicopters and Red Arrows.

      I watched all 23 typhoons take off from raf cranwell. Spectacular. Shame they only got to Norfolk and then came back

    Shame the full flypast didn’t go ahead, it would have been quite something. An example of nearly every aircraft in the British forces.

      the coordinating helicopter needed height above the cloud base as it was, it's not just a matter of forward horizontal ability. keep paying your taxes and leave it to the professionals, I kindly suggest.
