Miserable without that vice!!! lol ive been working for an hour plus trying to get a screw out. Lovely band I have been wearing it lose for a year. Tweezers!!! Brilliant!!! I think I will listen to the Phish song whilst I fix the bracelet
@@soccerrrr That doesn’t mean it’s fake. Screws are held in by loctite. The OP my need to heat up the screws with a hairdryer or a small torch for a few seconds to break the bond. It by no means means it’s a fake watch
probably because of loctite (adhesive/glue) that is keeping the screws in place - what has worked for me in the past is applying some heat with a hairdryer for a few minutes (be careful not to touch the metal with your bare fingers after you do), and then attempting to unscrew. Takes some patience
@@marcrose23 Thank You Marc R. I'm glad I read this because that is what is wrong with my band. I can't get the screw to come out. I will use the hair dryer tomorrow.
If it just keeps spinning the screw is already loosen it just wallered out the pin so just find a way to pull the little screw out cause if not just going to spin forever goodluck
Thanks! Had never encountered screw links before and this was just what I needed.
Thank you for this info - I didn't realise they were screws. I could finally see the slot on top of the screw under magnification.
Thank you very much. I like many other viewers did not know there were screws! Big Help! Thanks again!
What if the screw slot is damaged? How do I get it out?
Well explained , very professional
It's sad to know that this can't be done without a parts tray.
LOL
I have a watch kit but none of the screw drivers fit. What size should I order?
Thank you for this video.
Excellent video
thanks!! this worked
What size screwdriver?
My band links has scew links on both ends?
Thanks for the clear tutorial :)
Thanks!
What if you can't get one out with tweezers, and there's no hole to push them out?

Mine has screws but the screws are on both sides and no matter which side I turn it doesn't loosen
N. J. P. same😢
same here. im trying to figure out can i even resize it?! if not, what a waste of money
I'm sorry to say you have just bought a fake watch
Haha. Get 2 screw things, one to hold the bottom in place and the other to turn, like a nut and bolt.

What’s the size of the screwdriver?
It depends on your watch. I just bought a 1.8mm to resize my omega Railmaster
Do I need to grow my nails before I can do this?
What if the screws are really tight

Cohesive G-unit That’s a really good one
It does not work without the holder sadly
Cheers 🍻
I did mine the hard way like a dumbass with alot of cussing!
I screw it too much , now it can be fixed in the link 😢

What do I do when the asshole who put my watch together decided to strip the thread of all of the screws except for one so you can't get it off?
the screw won’t come up .. it just rotates in place
You probably have pins or pins and collars. Are there holes in both sides of your links? If so you can push the pins out
Did not work! I even tried tapping it out, nope. Guess they know a lot about nothing! I have all the tools, also. Don't listen to these people.
Does your bracelet have screws on each side?
