Too bad I am watching the video after I already removed the screw after I permanently screwed it up and I tried to add plastic cushion (don’t know its name) in the hole to replace the broken screw with another smaller screw (all I had available) and totally screwed it up. 😫🙈
😭 I don't have a drill so I tried to do the other tricks. It didn't work. I'm trying to get the replacement screw out from underneath the ring cover camera cause I lost the original screw. I screwed up somehow installing the replacement screw so now it's just stuck
might be the angle but it looks like a square 2 or 3 not a philly 2 not saying this wont work but try the correct bit before searching for hacks also vise grips should have been your lead if the screw is stripped not duct tape
@@MyBrothersMario i build office furniture and some of the robi screws have the cross mark like the one in the video that's how i arrived at my first point
So a normal screwdriver can work with these methods on a stripped screw?, will it work on my vintage Grinch doll's stripped screw?, will the duct tape method work on it?

If it’s deep in wood like a door frame and I can’t get it out and I can’t use pliers then do what I did and buy a stripped screw remover
If the head is sticking out this much just use the drill chuck to clamp down on it and reverse it out.

Nah, it's just a stripped philips, you can see where the cross is still in tact on either side of the round stripped out portion.
