方模 square mold 15cm x 15cm x 7cm
摄氏150 / 华氏300 水浴烤法 50-60分钟
Bake at 150°C / 300°F in water bath for 50-60 minutes

@@aounypony1882 Cake flour is used(plain flour+cornstarch if you don't have it)
No need for baking powder because you whip air into the egg whites which will help the cake rise while baking.
Alhamdulillah. I hv tried tiday. The cake is just out from the oven. However I need longer time to bake it, more than 60 mins. I get back to inform about the taste of the cake tonite after breaking fast. Thank you dear Apron for your kindness sharing the recipe.😍

No baking powder at all.
I used cake flour.
The cake will raise itself if the meringue goes well.

Had to rebaked another 20mins because am using the top bake only and got to know should do top & bottom after baking for 50mins. Overall it's delicious and texture is soft! Am also using brown sugar instead hence sweetness is much lesser.

Hi apron, ur recipe is just AMAZING, its light n soft. It melts in my mouth. But the choco chip sank to the bottom. Also I used 120 degree celcius instead of 150, normally i wont get any cracks with such a low heat but i got a huge crater, any idea why? Hope you reply and thanks for the recipe.
Hi, there are many factors for this, it may be that the egg white beat over or
the temperature of the oven is too high
1st time baker questions:
1. Can i use all purposed flour to replace cake flour?
2. Do i need to add cornstarch?
3. How to avoid the cake shrink? Do i open the oven slightly, wait for it to cool down only take out the cake?
Hi,cake flour is more delicate than all purpose flour. can try to make,
for every 1 cup of all purpose flour remove 2 Tbsp of flour,and replace 2 Tbsp of that with cornstarch.
When the cake is baked, it should be taken out immediately and demolded

I made the cake. It was soft and smooth. Just make sure you use high quality cocoa powder and the cake will be delicious. However, all of the chocolate chips sank to the bottom of the cake. Did you add more chocolate chips near the end of baking? Thanks for the recipe!

@@3pumpkins170 can try in future n bal of of mini chips can be use to sprinkle on brownies W ganache topping.
Take part of the cocoa powder and dunk the chips in it to coat it. This will prevent it from sinking ⭐️
However whenever we buy this cake from the shop, the chips have kind of sunk in.. so I guess its ok

Hi, mix the flour in heated oil will stop gluten forming thus yields softer cake

Hi, beat the egg white on high-speed until become bubble form, begin beat the egg whites on low speed added sugar separately for three times until firm peaks form,
they become foamy and frothy, takes about 5-10 minutes to whip the eggs whites.

I made this yesterday, it was easy and delicious! I added a bit more milk because the mixture was way too sticky and almost unworkable. The chocolate taste in mine is a bit too weak. Should I add more cocoa powder or can I straightaway add melted dark chocolate? Thank you.
رائعة ولذيذة انا من عشاق الشوكولا. اريد ان اسال هل بعد نضوج الكيكة نخرجها مباشرة وهي ساخنة او نتركها حتى تبرد داخل الفرن. لاني عملتها لكن في قالب التوست واخرجتها وهي ساخنة. فنزلت قليلا لكن الطعم رااااااائع
