My family life. I'm scared of how they will react if I set boundaries with them especially since I am the youngest child and it's important to respect elders in my culture. But now that I think of it, I find it difficult to set boundaries with everyone, including myself. So thanks for making this video!
I now have some authority over others at work and I feel like I'm always getting it wrong. most of the time letting people get away with a bit too much, but sometimes bearing down a little too closely and kind of micromanaging.
Hi, I just found your channel. Thank you for your work. In the area of setting boundaries, there are people that I don't want on my life. Not that I am free at 7pm or I can meet you on saturday, I just want them out of my life. I don't know to communicate this in a balanced way. For example my coworkers in work break time (I don't want to socialise with them), my parents' friends who want to be friends with me. They are already used to me being friendly, listening and available due to my actions. Would you do a material on this?
I love this perspective. as someone who has struggled w people pleasing, “it is what it is” mindset is truly a game changer. not being hyper-fixated on everything & everyone else & prioritizing myself & my needs & letting the rest fall into place is really the best way to go. everything works out better that way anyway once you get over the fear!
I like this video, this is the first time I see a boundary setting strategy that makes 100% sense. All the other advice about boundaries were recommending superiority and overexplanations. Love this ! Thank you !
Jump on my lives :) shorts are typically examples, lives I take real time questions and demonstrations, long form content has elaborations. We can’t truly learn if we don’t know the foundations.
Love how you explained that boundaries are more about the self and not others. It really is helpful as someone who is navigating setting boundaries that benefit my higher self in every moment. Definitely focus on the other more than self at times and this is showing me to be a bit more mindful of that. Thank you☺️
Thank you for the video! If person A is meeting with person B at a specific time, but person A suddenly feel sick and could not make it to the meeting. In this case, would it be disrespectful if person A does not express the reason of their last minute absence?
Yes, we don’t need to explain when it’s our own business, but when we make any sort of plans or agreements with others, they are now involved and of course we communicate. But when we communicate, we still carry balanced confident energy without inferiority or superiority
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
What's one area of your life where you feel your standards and boundaries could use some refinements?
Parental/family - overbearing
