    GET ENERGY COACHING FROM ME:
    shop.beacons.ai/niu.views/EnergyCoachingwithArielNiu
    TIPS:
    - Start with slow and soft energy
    - Share only what you want to share
    - Be calm and concise in honesty
    - Soften honesty with gratitude
    - Instead of conforming, do nothing
    - Instead of conforming, get curious
    - Be light and nonchalant
    - Observe and refine without emotion (aka meditate and cry/vent later lol)
    - Know how you ideally want to socialize (if you’re like me - you want to be able to be both chill and playful, take jokes and make jokes. Find your balance.)
    - Flow with your natural expressions (sharp and/or soft)

    i've ended up becoming forcefully hyper talkative as a way to walk around my social anxiety and that worked for me as a young teen but i haven't felt appropriate while doing it anymore and i really want to put this in practice and be chiller and realer! thank you!

    • @Alice-cn3sp
      @Alice-cn3sp Год назад +9

      Yes! Forcefully hyper-talkative is a great way to describe it! I have this issue too and I've counterbalanced it by imagining I'm in my "cool girl chill" vibes (a phrase I learned from TikTok)

      SAME!!!! But for me, I don't care about being chill. I just miss being anti social. I felt more at peace & had less conversations to replay in my head & later feel insecure about. I miss not letting so many people into my space. but I feel I've gotten so deep, if I stop conversating now, so many people are gonna think I'm bipolar, and so many feelings would be hurt as well. I thought social anxiety was suffocating when I couldn't bring myself to speak, it's even more suffocating now that I'm more social.

    Ariel!! I love this, but "during the live moment staying analytical" can be so hard, especially when you know a conversation will be triggering but you need to do it. Do you have any videos on dealing with tough conversations? There's a huge (possibly hours-long) conversation that I'm planning on having with family about a death in the family (wasn't invited to their funeral) and I just *know* there's going to be a lot of offense/defense coming from them, instead of a productive conversation on closure and why this happened. I wonder if there's a way to create goals for the conversation while also not coming across as "too practiced/ too vulnerable or sensitive to handle this" since that's a major reason why this happened in the first place.

Say we personally have a close friend with BPD/EUPD for example. How to keep composed, explain your feelings and what you need to change and then feel no guilt 😹🖤🙏

    • @lindeekeller1462
      @lindeekeller1462 Год назад +1

      Support - Empathy - Truth - - the SET method is a great way to tell someone with BPD or who otherwise is shame-driven/reactive/intense something they might not want to hear. For breaking bad life news to someone who experiences emotional intensity, it helps to maintain your own calm energy and trust them to manage their emotion/be accepting of their emotions, because feeling incapable and being upset about their own emotions actually drives distress. The SET method is from Shari Y Manning's book Loving Someone with Borderline... and it's a good one.

    Do you have tips for someone whose natural delivery tends to be on the sharper and quicker side but wants to lean into embodying a more grounded, slow, and calm energy? I've watched your "balanced sharp vs soft" video and it was helpful. How can I internalize this shift over time? I've noticed I also tend to make certain microexpressions on my face (e.g slight furrowed brow twitch) when talking to someone which aren't the most receptive / friendly seeming, even when I'm just processing what is being said, and I think that can sometimes throw the other person and conversational energy off a little - any tips?

Like if someone's wearing a pant as a replacement to skirt, she will say your ass is little big but in a funny way. She's putting her insecurity on other. Now its the incident happened with me.Yesterday, I was walking towards my class room and im cold sensitive so my nose and cheeks gets super red ,she saw me and said (your blush is so good,damn) and I was so nervous,I tried to explain myself that its not blush,you can rub and see it.i don't apply blush and so many such things but at the end she laughed and went. What could I do in this situation.

    Your videos are very interesting, what you say resonates with a more respectful and chill approach that i'm trying to take toward myself. But at the end of the video i started to tell myself to be more grounded and stop trying to put these changes in place in my mind while looking at the video because of what you said about staying analytical during the live interaction and i started freaking out ahah. When i try to concentrate i almost always end up becoming anxious because i'm more concentrated on the fact that i HAVE to concentrate than on the thing itself 🫠 maybe i take things a little too first degree sometimes
