YES! More Oasis please! This song is definitely a special one in the UK due to Manchester but I dont think you would be able to find 1 person in the UK who doesnt know this song word for word. X
Did you know their Mom is from Charleston, Mayo? My Mum is from Ballina. I drove through Charlestown in 1994 when I loved this band. The rest of the band are of Irish heritage too I believe.
This band was everything to me as a teenager.. in Britain you were either an oasis person or a blur person.. they were the first band I ever liked, first concert I ever went to where I smoked weed for the first time & had my first kiss.. brings back a lot of memories thanks for this one guys!
@Penderyn Lewsyn loved the stereophonics.. & a few others on your list.. remember when Michael Jackson played at the Brits & the dude from pulp mooned him 🤣
Oasis are from Manchester England, and after the bombing at the Ariana Grande concert in the city killing 22 people, mostly youngsters, this song became the unofficial anthem of defiance, when after a minutes silence to remember the victims the crowd gathered started singing this. It was then sung by Chris Martin at Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester Concert, to raise money for the victims. Great song anyway but has taken on a whole new meaning for me after that event x

Welcome to the wonderful world of Oasis. Be warned its a rabbit hole you won't escape. Massive massive band. I've been lucky enough to have seen them twice. Please don't just do the one song, they have so so much more to offer.
Yup been hooked since the 90s... and now I follow both brother's bands and have seen them live. I will never stop listening to them just like the Beatles.
Oasis were influenced by the Beatles, they said in interviews. Even this song is about John Lennon somewhat. "Gonna start a revolution from my bed" is that sit in with Yoko Ono he did, and "stand up beside the fireplace, take that look from off your face" is the Imagine music video reference. Plus those rose tinted glasses.
The "stand up beside the fireplace" line is from their mum telling the boys to smile while having their photos taken by the fireplace, not about the Beatles.
Only just seen your channel. Really glad you enjoyed this one. You should see what happens in a British pub when they play this late on a Saturday night lol. Also if you haven't already seen it you should try listening to Wonderwall same group. Love from Britain
I love this song .... enjoyed your reaction so much! Great video, too .... especially as the chauffeur is the late, great Patrick McNee (Steed in The Avengers)
I didn't know that was Patrick Macnee playing the older guy. But I can see it now. Not just his face, but his facial expressions. And of course the umbrella.
7:22 for real! I saw my ex today in my dream, and it saddens me. She was my friend too. The loss was doublefolded. Now even After a year of separation, I still hold emotions for her: anger, frustration, sadness. And that's why I am still attached to her memory. I gotta let go instead of looking back in anger. I need that relief and peace.
Oasis is a fantastic band and Noel Gallagher is probably the most gifted songwriter of his generation. So many great Oasis tunes most people (especially in the States) have never heard. Their catalogue is immense….
Lmfao. Noel Gallagher is a song writer? I thought he was just famous for being a giant c%nt. Are you saying for almost 15 minutes this guy who's all about looking back in anger was famous something other then being a wanker.
If you guys liked that, you'll probably like The Masterplan and Champagne Supernova too, but there are so many great Oasis songs, many of which were never even on albums
While your apprecieation is welcomed there is only one version of this song that matters and that is the live rendition at the River Plate Stadium in Argentina. It is readily available for reaction
Yes been waiting for you to get down the Oasis rabbit hole, my favourite band ever, best band. Oasis B sides are better than most bands A sides. Enjoy the ride 😁

Champagne Supernova and Don’t Go Away are two of my favourites by Oasis! Well worth a listen.
Not just a great song, but they got the legendary Patrick Macnee to appear in the video.
For a brief couple of years late 90s they were the biggest rock n roll and in the world.
Oasis one of THEE greatest bands to ever walk the planet......you’ve no idea what you’re missing
Biggest band on the planet at one point. Keep it going
Check out he Oasis performance of this song from Argentina. The entire Stadium sings the song back to him. 80,000 people.
I just watched it. It just about brought me to tears.

All bands since the beatles were influenced by the beatles.
